    • Gotta be Darcy or Cameron. In form KPFs with butter opposition.

Darcy’s got defeated Dees, Eagles and Freo w light key back stocks.

Cameron. I mean, Tiges Dons. Shut the gates.

It’s out of them. Pickett didn’t do enough v Eagles.

Jezz didn’t get as fed as I thought he would today. Cats still very varied going I50.

I’ve voted Darcy but back yourself in, Joey.

      Good luck.

    • This has changed now with Neale out, so am contemplating trading Neale to a 99k rookie, moving Hall to my starting mids this week and doing May to Jackson. This leaves me with 1 trade to upgrade Hall the following week
      TU go for it.
TD stick to the above plan

  1. Scored 2835 this week making it back-to-back 2800+ scores. With that said I suspect I’ll lose this week’s knockout final (it will be close). I have 2 trades remaining and $2600 in the kitty. I’m seriously thinking of going for broke and burning my last trades to upgrade Merrett (W Ashcroft another option). If I do, who should it be to?
    1. Xerri (who will play GWS)
    2. McCluggage (SYD)
    3. Dawson (WC) or
    4. Another – have up to $605,800 to spend on the premium).

    • Dawson’s fixture is really good but just the one game at AO. He’s been decent enough interstate but obvs prefer it at AO.

Briggs and Nank good for Xerri – like really good. That almost tips the scales. ROB to finish I hate though.

Cluggers could be nice but Swans just OB tagged Zezz. If they tag, Cluggers gets it.

Others under 605k I can is only Holmes really? Rate him w Geelong’s gorgeous form and his fixture. Unsure who Jordon goes to out of him and Smith though.

      It’s honestly super hard, Owen.

Dawson, Xerri, Cluggers and Holmes all great options with nice fixtures.

      I’d have it as:

      1) Xerri
      2) Dawson
      3) Holmes
      4) Cluggers

Best of luck whoever you go with, Owen.

  2. Plan to grab a new ruck this week to finish my side, have the $ for one of these two? Comments welcome, thanks legends.

TU Xerri (should be back this week after a nice “rest”)
TD Jackson (been scoring more consistently of late in hybrid role)

  3. I scored 2725 but had McCarthy’s 125 sitting on the bench so have traded Johnson for Farrar and moved McCarthy to Flex. With 2 x trades left that hopefully is enough to trade out a player/s due to injury….

  4. Been holding trades as playing for leagues, down to knockout games, time to turn Merrett and Serong into Anderson and Dawson?

  5. Got burnt by Hayden Young Adductor, only $14k in the kitty, is there an option circa $410 or less? Any position except ruck.
    Slim pickings…

    • I haven’t posted for weeks and then double post. D’oh!

Due to unfortunate circumstances I have been unable to post recently and not likely to resume regular posts soon. Apologies
If you are in finals all the very best, if not we at SCT will help you bounce back next year.

      Cheers

  6. Two trades left and with Neale out, think he finally has to go but do I use both trades to also cut TDK?

TU: yes get rid of both
    TD: no, just Neale

  7. 1 trade left, worth holding Neale for this week if can cover with mccarthy and no other outs? Have a bye in most of my league finals. Can always trade neale next week or week after is no other carnage

    Tu: Yes
    Td: No, trade Neale

    • Neale out 1 trade left $2k in the bank

T/U Straight swap for Gulden or Richards

T/D Bring in a fwd, such as Darcy, Cameron, Thilthorpe, Kennedy or Mier,s so that I can move McCarthy from the mid bench to flex and move Humphrey (weakest onfield player) to the mid bench.

      Cheers!

      • I like the trade down option – bringing in Miers with Geelongs great run & his excellent form

Personally I would trust McCarthy more than Humphrey – especially now that Touk is back getting CBA’s for Gold Coast (and Davies has also been getting CBA’s the last 2 weeks)

    • I’d say hold but be aware of the breakevens of your potential replacements and your bank – you don’t your best targets to be out of your price range next week.

        • All good, for me the players i really want i cant afford or already own, e.g. im $2k off Xerri. Gulden or Ash as pods should be affordable next week too.

In your position id do TD. Mccarthys role is better and humpty can cover 2 lines for an injury also

  8. Two trades left and Lachie Neale needs to be replaced. I know we generally should avoid key forwards but I’m going down that risk/reward rabbit hole. I can’t decide between these two.

TU – Jeremy Cameron (Ess GEEL, Syd SCG, Rich MCG)
TD – Aaron Naughton (Melb MCG, West Coast MARVEL, Freo MARVEL)

  9. Best option to trade in for Lachie Neale?
700k budget but ideally dont want to spend it all as have rozee who i feel will be shutdown before seasons end

    • I’m going for Anderson. I thought of McCluggage but with Neale not playing does that change his role and possibly affect his point scoring potential…

  10. Need to trade out Neale in 1 trade and no cash in the bank. Can trade in any position as had a mid sitting at Flex:

    TU: J. Cameron
    TD: Gulden

Comment for other options such as Serong, Richards, Hewett, Miers

  11. Neale > Jez Cameron via DPP

Leaves me with 2 trades and the opportunity to bring in Xerri (barring any other premo injuries) for a Bolton in 2 weeks time.

    • I’m going Neale to Noah Anderson. Was hoping to do underperforming TDK to Xerri at some point, but now one trade and no cash means I’m stuck.

  12. 2 trades left and i Was going all out for grundy this week but lachie neale had other plans for me!!

Flirted with gulden, hewett, ash, libba, Richards but I think im going to settle on jezza Cameron. Upside his huge with some dream matchups and he’s playing like a man possessed to kick 100 goals and his team mates are feeding him at every opportunity…

I’ll have 1 trade remaining & McCarthy my 24th for the inevitable round 24 carnage.

  14. Im in an elimination final and have 2 trades left. Opponents team looks solid but I have Grundy. I think Ill need every point to get there and dont wanna be buried with trades.
Was looking to sideways trade either Zerrett or Serong and can get Anderson. Who to bump?

TU Zerrett (too easy to tag the one player side)
    TD Serong

  15. 2 trades left with bench cover on all lines. Thinking Rozee and Hall to Grundy and some bottom priced muppet.

T/U – do it, time to go for broke.
    T/D – hold.

Really just playing for the best score I can get now.

    Cheers

  16. Hi team, last trade and do or die final, playing for league. Not sure what could potentially give a better boost:

    TU will Ashcroft to Dawson
    TD Caleb Daniel to Jezza

2nd year playing and first time in finals, comment if best to just hold on to that trade if I make it to next week?

    • Safe move is the first one. Greatest risk vs potential reward is the second one. Jezza could kick 25 over the next 3 weeks but he does tend to get screwed over by Champion Data in my opinion.

  17. Currently ranked 1.5k and already in prelim finals for all my leagues. Have 2 trades left and have Neale to deal with. McCarthy is my 24th player and have no spare cash in the bank

TU: Use 1 trade this week and trade Neale to Gulden. Leaves 1 trade as cove.
TD: Use McCarthy as cover this week, and then use 2 trades next week to convert Neale to an uber premo.
