Goodwin announced after the game today that Gawn has some personal stuff ongoing, not sure to what extent. He will also have a very high BE and lose cash fast, where as Xerri will be close to 700k at this point and this could be the cheapest price we get him.
I don’t have any other trades to make this week at this stage, I have all the ‘must have’ cows.
TU: Go for it, there is merit to the trade
TD: Hold off, don’t be reactionary
Reckon without Gulden, Mills and Adams there he’s having to shoulder a less flashy and high scoring workload. Gulden is months away but it’s up to you whether you think the upcoming return of other midfield grunt will free Heeney up more.
Definitely Paton. Prior’s a bit older with better job security on the bubble, doubt Paton gets another game for a while with the upcoming Sydney players returning.
It would probably take a couple of injuries to KPFs and KPDs to bring Paton back into the mix now, he had a chance to claim a spot when McCartin was forward but he’s seemingly lost that shuffle to Bice and Hamling.
The Swans have McLean and Ladhams (and McDonald soon) back, which means they have sent McCartin back to defence, and Bice and Hamling are settling with Melican also due back in a game or two.
Don’t have Lashcroft or O’Sullivan (Geel) which is daunting so not sure whether to prioritise them or catching a premo mid. Waiting on teams and hoping Flynn is back in seeing as Williams didn’t run out the game and Reid struggled. LDU and Serong survive another week
160k in the bank to help make this move. Backline rookie situation is awful. Currently have Sheezel, Zorko, Clark, Roberts, Blight, Trainor, Reid, Paton. This trade would mean my D5 is Freijah and my D6 is Blight (he’ll slowly make cash and will hold his spot).
Logic is that Sheezel’s projected to lose at least 60k by round 9. His ownership has the potential to hurt me but not a fan of his flexible role (worst case I waste a trade buying him back cheaper down the line). Holmes 91 was impressive in the loss considering the Windhager tag. Freijah’s role looks consistent for at least 80 every week which will provide the funds for a premium upgrade down the line.
TU – Yes, stack that backline.
TD – Nah, keep sheez. Not worth the rookie -> Freijah upgrade.
OUT
Perryman- role change
Nankervis – won’t see enough of the ball
FOS – looks ok, but not scoring enough for a high priced rookie
For
Frejah breakout/ Cash gen
Callahan breakout
Witts has a better midfield than Nank
TU Do it
TD take your finger off the trade button
This week I’m going FOS to Ashcroft and Perryman to Henderson, then I wait on teams.
If one of Prior/Trainor/Reid gets dropped, I use the money I got from the previous trades to upgrade them to a SDK/Freijah etc.
If not, then I sideways Short to someone and leave the rest in the bank for future upgrades.
Then next week I go Patton to Bice and whatever else is needed.
I also have Flynn but after the ruck performance from Williams and co. I think he comes straight back in, and I’m happy to hold for the best 18 rounds anyway.
Planning to trade out Garcia, Perryman and FOS, for Freijah, Callaghan and a Rookie.
Can swing DPP to bring in a rookie for any line. Have $152k in the bank and already have most other must haves.
Better rookie selection?
TU: Connor O’Sullivan
TD: Jack Henderson
Damn was hoping T Stewart would get back to his best this year. I feel like it’s hard to lose on either of these guys but interested to see thoughts on replacement
I’ve done the Gawn > TDK move.
Was a punt starting him over TDK but that first couple of fixtures should have brought a lot more points, so was worth a pop.
Easy one now to move to TDK and free up heaps of cash to upgrade elsewhere. It’s basically gonna give me a premo def for Perryman and enable Day > Naicos next week.
It’s early in the week but I think I’m actually going to hold Perryman so I can deal with other issues…
OUT: Gawn, FOS and Stewart
IN: TDK, Lindsay and a premium defender (TBD)
Max has been disappointing and, okay, has other stuff going on at the moment. FOS is a good player I reckon but his role is awful for SC and unlikely to change soon, and Lindsay is a must. I’ll monitor Stewart’s injury this week but he seems unlikely and the bumps are starting to stack up for him.
Wouldn’t say must have Kobe, but a really good option for the price he looks super lively and I like the fact that he has had really strong VFL numbers in the past. Only slight concern is that Kozi Pickett and Jake Melksham are a week away from returning!
looks decent and don’t think he’s first out when May, Pickett, Windsor or others return from injury/suspension. Doesn’t need to score much this week if he’s selected, for a decent $$$ rise
Going
Day -> dunkley
Mckercher -> dale
Jhf -> Lindsay
Considered freijah but his last minute tonne scared me and he’s going up less in price less than dale and has a higher $ per point even at his current scoring. Also need the points.
I have lashcroft, nod, knevitt, m reid, campo and Davidson. Not sure if I’m missing some super good cash gen but I felt I needed the points with so many failed premo/mid pricers. Still have to deal with meek and short, fml.
Feel like shorts score last week was affected by early 50m against and then general sport smashing, with those stats and his efficiency most weeks that score is 95+. Just my opinion don’t cancel me
I wouldn’t be trading into Zorko. His body is a massive concern and at 36 I feel like there’s much better options to be trading into this season. If you started him that’s great, however I would be very nervous having a player like Zorko in my side personally. Remember, if you trade him in and have to trade him out again, that’s 2 trades..
Solid trades.
I’d suggest keeping Tsatas as he is only expected to miss one game, & with their bye in Round 4, he should be back by Gather Round.
It’s a long season…
Would you hold off on the Perryman to Robert trade until next week and just use a bench cover this week? Just thinking that Perryman’s BE is at 110 I think and Roberts will go up again
Everyone trading out F O Sullivan is overreacting I think. The role is there, can see the skill level, give him a few weeks he could be the Mckercher of last year who took a while to get going
While I agree, guys like NOD, Ashcroft and Lindsay feel like must haves and someone has to make way for them. FOS is a lot of money so is the easiest way for most to get there
I’m a Bailey Dale owner myself but to everyone bringing him in this week just be aware he might be tagged by Cottrell against the blues.
And I’m hearing Laverde could be returning for Essendon this Thursday meaning it could be the end for Zack Reid as he isn’t ready for AFL yet. Obviously Ridley will come in for Prior.
Was leaning towards Henderson mainly due to him being $86K cheaper, and I still worry about about Lash being a sub risk. I already have NOD, Lindsay, Knevitt, Tsatas, FOS, Camp & M Reid
With news of Tsatas broken finger/hand, and missing this week, plus the following with the bye, which rookie of similar price to trade out this week for Lash
FOS is a classic case of why high priced rookies can often be a problem. He is going ok but hie is the ultimate slow burn, only likely to go up $15k over the next three weeks unless he starts pumping out 70-80 plus scores. Tsatas will go up by $46k over his next three games, but that is probably over 5 weeks.
Depending on your team, there are plenty of lower priced rookies to gain cash by both banking cash this week, and pending price rises.
Yeah. Couldn’t have been clearer with Xerri pistol whipping Maxxy. HOs were square but Xerri’s stoppage and ATG stuff is honestly out of this world.
20 touches, 15 contested at 85%. Fkn crazy.
The fact Maxxy also didn’t towel Keefe in R1 for a 160+ hurts too. Could’ve offset the 50 points Xerri and TDK (who were in hindsight clearly the go) both have him on him.
TDK and Xerri look fixture proof. TDK dances around everyone and Xerri steamrolls everyone.
After Goodwin dogged him in the press conference, I’m almost hoping Maxxy misses this week. Spare me from the BE 180 price drop and I can cook something up next week.
Gawn and Nank. Smh. What were you thinking, Michael…
No trades until this week but will do the following:
Perryman to Freijah
Day to Rozee
$80K in the bank
Perryman seems to be doing a fulltime shutdown role and Day teased us with the first game and given little since. Rozee’s form cannot be ignored as he’s definitely gone to another level this year
Is Rozee going to be someone that you want in the team come season end? He would have been a fantastic pick to start the season, but not sure about bringing him
Fair call, Hugo. For me it’s about his form which looks really good. An average of 129 can’t be ignored. Do you think he’ll drop away towards the end of the season?
I don’t see him averaging 115 over the course of the season – and given his start (albeit only 2 rounds), means an awkward price to get up to that uber premo
Tweaking rookies this week
Trainor -> COS
Tsatas -> NOD
Hastie -> Lindsay
Post trades team as follows:
Sheezel, Zorko, Short, Freijah, COS, Z.Reid (Roberts, Bice)
Neale, Brayshaw, Rozee, Oliver, FOS, NOD, L. Ashcroft, Lindsay (Knevitt, M Reid, Camporeale)
Xerri, TDK (Boyd)
JHF, Macrae, Smith, Daniel, Kako, Davidson (Co. Warner, A.Reid)
SDK
Is Bailey Smith playing this week?
TU = Yes
TD = No
Could you maybe trade a defensive rookie instead of Short? His breakeven isn’t that Hugh so his price shouldn’t go down too much and defenders do so well against the saints that I’d want to hold him just for another look this week if possible
not sure whether its worth getting rid of FOS to feel safer with the bigger boys (already have zorks) and swap paton for bice next week, or hold FOS in the hope he scores well and just get rid of paton now and chase the value in dale or holmes
If I do the first trade, I will simply move Paton next week to Bice. I am slightly worried about O’Sullivan’s JS with Kolodjashnij around the corner and Stewart a test for this week.
Waiting for Bice is a solid plan but it doesn’t mean you have to trade out a must have defender this week. Maybe just stay off the trade button this week
Holding Smith and Roberts. Thinking of going Perryman into COS and Day into Dunkley. This leaves me feeling very naked down back. Very unsure at this stage. Any advice would welcome.
Bank before trades on 11k, so hamstrung. Only 1 trade used last round, so I am happy to boost.
Currently I am plugging more holes than Swiss cheese. Having taken the risk of four rookies in defence and Flynn as ruck 2 to begin the season has me calling “Man the lifeboats!” Flynn may get back in the side this week but he has become Jackson so I don’t end up rocking in a fetal position in the corner crying and babbling endlessly to myself before selection. Have Neale, Serong, Rozee, Oliver and WAshcroft with rookies is it viable to trade WAshcroft (against all reason) so that I am upgrade my backline of Sheezel, Zorko, Short, Roberts, Reid, Paton, Trainor and Leakey Boat, booting the latter to Holmes? Getting in Lindsay and O’Driscoll too. Would rather get 50/60 scores from rookies than Reid and Trainor’s 30 scores. Feel like either of them may also be dropped in the near future. Thoughts?
Gets Cats and Eagles after the bye. Problem is the Hawks midfield is copping it without Worpel and Day getting attention. Depriving Meek of a lot of CB economy.
Can only bring in 1 of Lindsay or O’sullivan.
To get lindsay in, would need to trade either kako or tsatas, or would be paton out for COS. Leaning lindsay purely as will be able to bring bice in defence next week for paton.
Lock in Paton -> COS and go straight across from Tsatas to Lindsay next week even after price increases? Provided the difference isn’t too much and you’ve got the cash.
Yeah, I’d definitely prioritise being able to bring in Bice next week so Lindsay makes sense this week. Think it’s a weird year where we almost have too many good rookies at this stage so you have to prioritise the must haves and Bice definitely seems that
Would love insight to why people are voting for Tsatas? He had 25 this week and has shown he can get plenty of it. FOS doesn’t seem like an accumulator – surely hold Tsatas for 2 weeks as his cash gen will be more than FOS at this trajectory?
I want cash now and not hoping for it later on. He could get dropped or another injury. Bice, NOD, Lindsay are fine but i wouldn’t trade him for any other rookies. As such I need Lindsay so he’s out.
Does the close to returning of both L Jones (and to a lesser degree, J O’Donnell) impact the scoring of both B Dale & Freijah? Wanting to replace Perryman this week.
TU: B Dale or Freijah still good options regardless
TD: Find extra cash for Whitfield or Sinclair
I don’t get all the hype with Dale at the moment. Yes he has scored great over the last 2 games, however he has done that in the past and had down games too. The community can be very reactive sometimes. Mind you, he has had 2 great early fixtures for defenders. I wouldn’t go chasing the points personally, remember you can’t get the points on the board that he has already scored. My opinion would be go and find the funds to get Whitfield over Dale.
Perryman, short & day
Still got another 10 problems on the field too..
Stewart to
Tu: Holmes
Td: Dale
Bigger flog
Tu – Perryman
Td – Short
This stat floored me… from Chaos Theory in the Live Chat function of the site.
Harry Perryman. % of game time in the midfield: Rnd 0 – 87% Rnd 1 – 53% Rnd 2 – 2%
He had to go down back after Reef went down early
Realise that. But, he’s just their Utility player. Poor SC choice.
Bigger priority this week
Tu: bring in C Osullivan and Ashcroft on the bubble
Td: Short for Baz
How can you trade Short to Baz? One is a defender and the other a mid…
By going Short to a Def rookie & a Fwd or Mid rookie to Baz.
I have Paton fwd
Baz has only played one and has a calf issue. Grab the cows
Gawn > Xerri ?
Goodwin announced after the game today that Gawn has some personal stuff ongoing, not sure to what extent. He will also have a very high BE and lose cash fast, where as Xerri will be close to 700k at this point and this could be the cheapest price we get him.
I don’t have any other trades to make this week at this stage, I have all the ‘must have’ cows.
TU: Go for it, there is merit to the trade
TD: Hold off, don’t be reactionary
Garcia to someone rest ok
Sanders -> Cally
Peatling -> Lindsay
Perryscum -> Whitfield
FOS and Gawn also not ideal but thinking those three midpricer flops for the GWS boys is the go for now.
Post-trades team should then look like:
DEF: Sheezel, Whitfield, Borko, Roberts, SDK & Prior [Reid, Trainor]
MID: Anderson, Brayshaw, Satan, Cally, NOD, L. Ash, Lindsay & Knevitt [Reid, Hastie, Camp]
RUC: Gawn & Nank [Boyd]
FWD: JHF, Rankine, Macrae, Daniel, SPP & Davidson [Hewett & Stone]
FLX: FOS
Perryman and Day are goneski. Which pair should I trade in?
TU: Clark and Callaghan
TD: Freijah and Anderson
Isaac Heeney:
TU – stick with him, he’ll come good and score big
TD – not looking as good as last year, coming back down to earth, get rid of him
Reckon without Gulden, Mills and Adams there he’s having to shoulder a less flashy and high scoring workload. Gulden is months away but it’s up to you whether you think the upcoming return of other midfield grunt will free Heeney up more.
I hopefully have 23 on field need best 18 and not to many players are really sticking out at RD 3. Save trades for later on for me
Short to:
TU – SDK
TD – Freijah
Have to have hard stare at Peatling, probably for Lindsay, as well as figuring out what to do with the flex where Flynn is in absentia.
TU – Whitfield and Jack Henderson
TD – Callaghan and O’Sullivan
Who to trade out for C. O’Sullivan?
Tu: Prior
Td: Paton
Definitely Paton. Prior’s a bit older with better job security on the bubble, doubt Paton gets another game for a while with the upcoming Sydney players returning.
Prior has to be dropped this week. He’s been appalling in his first two games
It would probably take a couple of injuries to KPFs and KPDs to bring Paton back into the mix now, he had a chance to claim a spot when McCartin was forward but he’s seemingly lost that shuffle to Bice and Hamling.

Hate to have to burn trades and a boost already but they’re there for a reason. Currently looking at
Perryman-> Freijah
FOS-> Lindsay
Petracca -> Dunkley/Dawson pending cash
Would prioritise the cash gen of those rookies over sideways trading Petracca right now

TU-Zorko
TD-Whitfield
Perryman upgrade
TU – Zorko
TD – Dale

If smith plays this week I’ll trade out Simpkin for him
Next week I’ll trade out Trainor for Bice
Is that the Simpkin Ave 108 with a BE of 24?
Thoughts on Perryman and Finn O’Sullivan to Murphy Reid and Bailey Dale?
DOWNGRADE – Sheezel -> Holmes
UPGRADE – Paton -> Freijah
Is it worth using a boost to trade either Kako or Lalor to Xav Lindsay?
T/U – Yes
T/D – No
Who to trade for Xav Lindsay?
TU – Lalor
TD – Kako
Comment SPP
Trade SPP for X. Lindsay
TU – Yes
TD – No, one of above players

Perryman is gone, have the cash to go up to anyone. Other trades are up for debate. Which is more important:
TU: Hold Day (miss out on Callaghan) and make rookie corrections (Reid [WC] and Paton to better options)
TD: Day to Callaghan and move one of the rookies.
And having said that:
TU: Perryman up to a premo
TD: Down to Freijah for more cash gen
Is Jack Henderson a must have rookie?

Solid trades.
I’d suggest keeping Tsatas as he is only expected to miss one game, & with their bye in Round 4, he should be back by Gather Round.
It’s a long season…
I’m one of the owners with Flynn ♂️ do I definitely trade him this week to TDK (before he goes up in value) or do I prioritise other moves first?
My team is currently:
DEF: Sheezel, Holmes, Roberts, Short, Perryman, Trainor (Reid, Leake)
MID: Serong, Day, Oliver, Cerra, Lalor, FOS, L.Ashcroft, Knevitt (Tsatas, Allan, Camporeale)
RUCK: Xerri, Flynn (Boyd)
FWD: JHF, Rankine, Macrae, Smith, Daniel, Davidson (Kako, Hewett)
Cheers guys
And sub: odriscoll
I’d prioritize other trades first, especially with Best 18 for the next two rounds.
Flynn’s likely to return this week, so I’d suggest holding off another week to see what happens.
Which 2 rookies should I prioritise that I’m currently missing out of
Lindsay, Henderson, Laschroft, Reid (Freo), O’Sullivan (Geel)
Laschroft and Lindsay
Ashcroft
Lindsay
Maybe miss O’Sullivan
IMO depending in what positions u need most. Bice next week

TD: Upgrade Short to Dale/NWM
Love to hear people’s thought on where Sheezel, Will Ashcroft and Horne-Francis are at?
I would hold Sheezel and JHF, Ashcroft is a wait and see for now

I voted td but would probably prioritise Lindsay over O’Sullivan
Thoughts please
Travaglia & Perryman – Henderson & M.Roberts
Will only leave 5k ITB but Perryman needs to go
TU – Good
TD – find something better
Roberts has the bye this week.
Wait yes that’s true, I forgot about his bye
Would you hold off on the Perryman to Robert trade until next week and just use a bench cover this week? Just thinking that Perryman’s BE is at 110 I think and Roberts will go up again
Travaglia was an emerg. last week could be in.
Could do Freijah instead of Roberts
Everyone trading out F O Sullivan is overreacting I think. The role is there, can see the skill level, give him a few weeks he could be the Mckercher of last year who took a while to get going
While I agree, guys like NOD, Ashcroft and Lindsay feel like must haves and someone has to make way for them. FOS is a lot of money so is the easiest way for most to get there
Fos only going up $15k in next three weeks at current form. Many cheaper options give much better cash generation and ITB

Boys! After the injury news, are we trading out Tsatas (TU) or O’Sullivan (TD)?
Draft; Would you trade Sweet for Sicily
14 team, 1 ruck, already have English also.
TU: Take it and run
TD: Not worth it
I’m a Bailey Dale owner myself but to everyone bringing him in this week just be aware he might be tagged by Cottrell against the blues.
And I’m hearing Laverde could be returning for Essendon this Thursday meaning it could be the end for Zack Reid as he isn’t ready for AFL yet. Obviously Ridley will come in for Prior.
Thoughts on the below trade using a boost?
OUT: Perryman, Paton & Peatling
IN: O’Sullivan, Freijah, Lash
Bank: $189k to do something with Flynn next week if he doesn’t play again
TU: Good plan
TD: rethink
Which one should be targeted this week
TU : L Ashcroft
TD – Henderson
Was leaning towards Henderson mainly due to him being $86K cheaper, and I still worry about about Lash being a sub risk. I already have NOD, Lindsay, Knevitt, Tsatas, FOS, Camp & M Reid
With news of Tsatas broken finger/hand, and missing this week, plus the following with the bye, which rookie of similar price to trade out this week for Lash
TU …Tsatas
TD….F O’Sullivan
This is an interesting one, as the same question on who to trade out a few posts above came back with
Tsatas – 1
FOS – 7
FOS is a classic case of why high priced rookies can often be a problem. He is going ok but hie is the ultimate slow burn, only likely to go up $15k over the next three weeks unless he starts pumping out 70-80 plus scores. Tsatas will go up by $46k over his next three games, but that is probably over 5 weeks.
Depending on your team, there are plenty of lower priced rookies to gain cash by both banking cash this week, and pending price rises.
Trade out both is an option too.
TU : In – B Dale
TD : In – Freijah
The extra $ for Freijah helps big time for getting in a premium maybe next week.
Does Port have a tagger who does the job and shut down the premos
Drew – not a typical hard tag, but generally does the job well on bigger bodied mids.
Yeah. Went to Daicos R1 and tends to go to those big name MIDs, although like Brooksey said not a super hard tag.
Why, Waldorf? Who are you worried about?
stay away from Merrett, he’s mine
It was hard watching my boy Gawn get towelled up by Xerri.
TU: admit I got it wrong and trade Gawn to Xerri
TD: Gawn will bounce back
But, ya, go ahead Derek. Maxxy to Xerri.
Many will know I have great Faith in SC101, but Maxy is really testing me. Lots traded out Neale this week for example. But……..
Pluses include his pride will be dented and he will bounce back, and he doesn’t have a bye till R15.
Negatives are Father time catches up with the best, cash if I switch to TDK (have Xerri) and up against a very in form and mobile Witts this week.
I’m sure I will make the wrong decision. Are getting rookies right still more important at this time of year ???
Wanting to trade Short
Is Dale a safe bet going forward? Or am I better off paying up for a Zorko, Sinclair or Whitfield?
Nothing wrong with Dale but Zorko, Whitfield and Sheezel clearly in that top bracket.
Maybe look ahead to mid-season byes? See if that pushes you one way.
will day a hold
trade him down for finn cal
been thinking what to do, possible options:
TU sanders – chandler
tsatas – lindsay
TD tsatas – lindsay
kako – connor o sullivan
Agree with you both.
He’s not doing 129 season long. Can’t call anything an ‘average’ atm.
But a fine player to have. Can compete in that M6-8 spot. Very well priced for his output and fixture still.
Tweaking rookies this week
Trainor -> COS
Tsatas -> NOD
Hastie -> Lindsay
Post trades team as follows:
Sheezel, Zorko, Short, Freijah, COS, Z.Reid (Roberts, Bice)
Neale, Brayshaw, Rozee, Oliver, FOS, NOD, L. Ashcroft, Lindsay (Knevitt, M Reid, Camporeale)
Xerri, TDK (Boyd)
JHF, Macrae, Smith, Daniel, Kako, Davidson (Co. Warner, A.Reid)
SDK
Is Bailey Smith playing this week?
TU = Yes
TD = No
Some corrections this week.
OUT: Perryman, Paton and Langford
IN: Freijah, COS and Lindsay
Would have loved to add Sanders and Day to those corrections – they will likely be looked at next week.
Post trades team as follows:
DEF: Sheezel, Holmes, Short, Roberts, Freijah, COS, Leake, Reid
MID: Neale, Brayshaw, Day, Oliver, NOD, LAshcroft, Knevitt, FOS, Tsatas, Hewett
RUCK: Xerri, Meek, Boyd
FWD: JHF, Macrae, Smith, Sanders, Daniel, Kako, Stone, Davidson
FLEX: Camporeale
ITB: 73.4k
TU: Good trades
TD: Look elsewhere – please suggest what I have missed
Short – Day – Sanders -> O’Sullivan – O’Driscoll – Lindsay + 800,500ITB for next week
Currently in top 9%
TU-> Yup, bank in the cash this week while it is best 18 on field
TD-> Silly, too risky
Could you maybe trade a defensive rookie instead of Short? His breakeven isn’t that Hugh so his price shouldn’t go down too much and defenders do so well against the saints that I’d want to hold him just for another look this week if possible
Any love for C Salem? Ave. 111 BE 19. Melb have a good bye.
Good replacement for Perryman if you have Freijah. Better job security than O’Sullivan.
Hammy ready to ping at any moment
tsatas going to lindsay either way
TU:
paton > henderson
perryman > dale/holmes
TD:
FOS > henderson
Perryman > Whitfield/sinclair
not sure whether its worth getting rid of FOS to feel safer with the bigger boys (already have zorks) and swap paton for bice next week, or hold FOS in the hope he scores well and just get rid of paton now and chase the value in dale or holmes
Tsatas only misses 1 game – has to be a hold over FOS right
TU Yes Hold
TD No
Will be two games as Ess has the bye the following week
Do you think thats all he misses?
Yeah depends how bad the break is.
Thinks its a trade out if you haven’t got NOD, LAsh, Lindsay.
Maybe a hold if you already have them.
Better trade? Playing for overall
Tu: Roberts > Whitfield
Td: Paton > O’Sullivan
If I do the first trade, I will simply move Paton next week to Bice. I am slightly worried about O’Sullivan’s JS with Kolodjashnij around the corner and Stewart a test for this week.
Waiting for Bice is a solid plan but it doesn’t mean you have to trade out a must have defender this week. Maybe just stay off the trade button this week
One of these guys needs to go to facilitate other trades….
Who to trade out?
TU – Kako
TD – Powell-Pepper
Hey guys
Who are my top 3 three priority trade outs from the following:
Perryman
Short
Z.Reid
Day
Tsatas
FOS
Flynn
Reid Tsatas Flynn
Perryman, FOS, Tsatas. Flynn over Tsatas if he’s not named this week
Perryman, Day, Flynn
Currently 85th overall and stuck on trades this week. Only went one last week.
Def: Zorko, Short, Perryman, Freijah, Reid, Trainor (Roberts, Allan)
Mid: Dawson, Richards, Rozee, Day, Oliver, Cerra, NOD, Ashcroft (Knevitt, Reid, Campo)
R: Xerri, TDK (Boyd)
Fwd: JHF, Macrae, Daniel, Kako, Hewett, Davidson (Smith, Paton)
Flex: SPP
Holding Smith and Roberts. Thinking of going Perryman into COS and Day into Dunkley. This leaves me feeling very naked down back. Very unsure at this stage. Any advice would welcome.
Bank before trades on 11k, so hamstrung. Only 1 trade used last round, so I am happy to boost.
Appreciated.
Perryman to COS
Short to Whitfield/Sinclair
Day to Dunkley
14.7k bank.
TU: Yep
TD: Think again
Alternatively,
Day to Callaghan. Trainor to COS. Perryman to a Salem type.
Lots of free and sound advice for you at Sledgers !!!!
Thoughts?
A lot of people talking about trading out both gawn and sheezle.
Most seem to be going for bailey dale and tdk or Witts being spoken about.
Is this a smart move to trade those 2 out or not
My fav saying….Ignore SC101 at your peril. Neale among the highest traded out players last round.
With rookies needing more work, this is a dumb move at this time of the year, unless your rookies are perfect.
T/U – Perryman, Tsatas, Garcia > Sinclair, Lindsay, Henderson
T/D – Perryman, Tsatas, Garcia > Dale, Lindsay, COS
Help me out! Noobie here
Defenders
H.Sheezel,D.Houston,M.Holmes,M.Robert,H.Perryman,Z.Reid (b.allan, J.Leake)
Midfielders
L.Neale,C.Rozee,W.Day,C.Oliver,O.hollands,N.O’driscoll,L.Ashcroft,M.Knevitt (E.Hewett,L.Camporeale,H.boxshall)
Rucks
M.Gawn, T.Xerri (H.Boyd)
Forwards
I.Rankine,J.Macrae,C.Daniel,H.Garcia,I.Kako,S.Davidson (C.Warner,C.Stone)
FLEX
M.Flynn
Too many dead rookies, Randy. Huge problem at this stage. You need max CG.
Boxshall -> Lindsay
Allan -> O’Sullivan
Flynn -> Henderson
Leake I also don’t think plays. Deal with Perryman next week.
From there, fob off Hollands and Garcia.
Also, always check teamsheets Thursday 6:20 PM and then confirmed benches for Sunday games Friday 5:00 PM.
Best of luck. Premo selection is otherwise great!
Perryman to Freijah
FOS to Lindsay
TU – Meek to TDK too?
TD – Hold Meek, he plays O’Keefe this week
Comment – W.Ashcroft to Callaghan instead?
Briggs is back.
Groan.
I was dead keen on Meek…now, not so much.
Hold or trade? Feels a bit early to trade him, pletny of time for him to come good.
But TDK is making eyes at me…
Lol.
I’d just wait.
Gets Cats and Eagles after the bye. Problem is the Hawks midfield is copping it without Worpel and Day getting attention. Depriving Meek of a lot of CB economy.
Out – sheezle, Garcia, FOS
In Dale, Smith, lindsey
Obviously as long as smith plays.
Normally wouldnt trade sheezle but looks a bit off to me and dale is a beast
Trade up – good moves
Trade down – don’t trade sheezle and bad trades
Smith injured in late pre-season, injured after one game.
I do not understand the people trading him in this or even next week. Wild.
Never again list
Can only bring in 1 of Lindsay or O’sullivan.
To get lindsay in, would need to trade either kako or tsatas, or would be paton out for COS. Leaning lindsay purely as will be able to bring bice in defence next week for paton.
TU- Lindsay
TD- COS
Lock in Paton -> COS and go straight across from Tsatas to Lindsay next week even after price increases? Provided the difference isn’t too much and you’ve got the cash.
Lindsay does 70 and he’ll be 230k~.
Yeah, I’d definitely prioritise being able to bring in Bice next week so Lindsay makes sense this week. Think it’s a weird year where we almost have too many good rookies at this stage so you have to prioritise the must haves and Bice definitely seems that
Already locked in…
W. Ashcroft -> Callaghan
Hastie -> X. Lindsay
Is it worth using a boost to trade Kako -> Henderson?
Tu – Yes
Td – No
TU: FOS -> Lindsay
Tsatas -> Ashcroft
Garcia -> C. O’Sullivan (via Paton to fwd)
TD: FOS -> Lindsay
Tsatas -> Henderson
Garcia -> Freijah
Thanks!
Will Day has Bedford then the Bye and a breakeven of 129.
Trade to Callaghan and make 60K?
Does Bedford go to day? He’s quite smaller than him, I was wondering the same thing but day is around 192cm and Bedford is 179 cm
Already did the job last year I think, expect the same again
Already done 2 required trades. Might be changing tack here and going for rookie cash gen over premo points with this Boost trade.
TU: Perryman > Whitfield/Dale
TD: Z Reid > C O’Sullivan (and do the Perrymen move next week)
Need some thoughts
TU – Perryman > Freijah
TD – Wait a week, use cover for Perryman from bench then get M.Roberts
Comment if both suck
roberts a way better bet than perryman if you can wait
TU Henderson
TD O Sullivan
Considering Kolo is back soon and Stewart won’t miss many games
I want Finn Callaghan this week, who do I boot
TU- W.Ashcroft
TD- JHF
TU FOS Tsatas Hastie > Henderson Lash Lindsay + $80k
Probably Bice next week or upgrade Perryman
TD FOS Perryman Tsatas > O Sullivan Lash Lindsay + $240k
Can maybe still get Bice next week for Prior. Upgrade Flynn or Short with the money
Who to trade out;
Tu: Fos
Td: Tsatas (Missing next 2 including bye)
Would love insight to why people are voting for Tsatas? He had 25 this week and has shown he can get plenty of it. FOS doesn’t seem like an accumulator – surely hold Tsatas for 2 weeks as his cash gen will be more than FOS at this trajectory?
Am I missing something?
I want cash now and not hoping for it later on. He could get dropped or another injury. Bice, NOD, Lindsay are fine but i wouldn’t trade him for any other rookies. As such I need Lindsay so he’s out.
Thoughts on Jack Graham as a fwd/mid option for under $400?
Nope. Playing in the weakest midfield system and in a side that gets cooked in the 3300 SC allocation each week.
We’re taking a conservative approach to his hip injury as well, apparently.
Next two weeks are B18. Fine to let the rookies ride for now.
Cheers GD
Hi Kris if I were you I’d consider Thilthorpe or Rachele
Want rookies off the firld asap.
OUT- Gawn, Tsastis, FOS.
IN- Xavier Lindsay, Oliver, Callaghan.
TU Callaghan
TD Rozee
Not sure where to begin but thinking of
Boxshall > Lindsay
Paton > Osulivan
Then should i do
TU Perryman > Freijah
TD Garcia > any rookie ?
Backs
Sheez, Clark, Holmes, Short, Perryman, Paton, Reid, Trainor
Mids
Brayshaw, Dawson, Satan, Cerra, FOS, Tsatas, lashcroft, Knevitt, boxshall, hastie, campo
Xerri, Jackson, Reid
Fwd,
JHF, Rankin, Macrae, Daniel, Garcia, Kako, Berry, Davidson
Flex NOD
I’m keen on keeping FOS (defender status incoming) and Tsatas
Thoughts on:
Gawn > Xerri
Paton > O’sullivan
Kako > Henderson
I really want to get bailey dale but the only way I can do it is to trade 1 of
Sheezel, Roberts, jhf or gawn
T.u it’s worth it as dale will be top 3 if he doesn’t get hurt
T.d miss out on dale
TU Rozee
TD Prem defender
already have Zorko & Dale
Perryman, Short, FOS > Dale, O’Callaghan, Lindsay
Still have Flynn, Tsatas, Camporeale, Reid and Leake to deal with but will need to wait
Go trades or nah?
Callaghan*
Worth using a boost for the following?
FOS > Henderson
Leaves me with 160k to target Daicos post bye.
Tu or Td
Nah. You’re right, Barb.
O’Connell and Jones distinctly different roles. Jones coming back into the side would, if anything, help Dale.
