I personally own Washcroft, and from hearing what he is about he will be fuming with his game on Thursday night and will come out strong. It was also well over 30 degrees and lions came off a 5 day break, the whole team looked a bit down.

I am not 100% on Flynn despite his score – partly because Draper went down (69% ToG, compared with 83% for Flynn), and having already been dropped this season after having a reasonable score (didn’t see the game, but assume an 87 he would have been quite good in an average WCE side).

Flynn didn’t deserve the 87, he was shocking in the first game, that said he doesn’t need to do much in his next game to make some good coin and if he hangs around for a while it’s all upside. Go with the trade.
Both options leave me with minimal money so basically comes down to a question of is it better to go aggressive and get off an underperforming premo (Heeney) or to play the long game and move off a dead rookie (Leake).
Only avenue to Flynn and Daicos is via TDK. Already heavy in round 12 and see Gawn and Xerri as 1 and 2. RoMo as R3 once he gets chugging. Also heavy in round 12.

Has a good run coming up and his past 4 games have all been over 95 with a high ceiling. 500k and is going to make more money in the coming weeks.
Its either getting in a POD (0.7% picked) and straying away from the pack or grabbing daicos for 100k more and riding the wave with everyone else. Is it to risky to miss out on daicos and take a pod over him?
Not sure about Carroll’s job security and relative value compared to durdin.
Carroll obviously cheaper and great for cash but could lose his place maybe or become sub? He’s 100k cheaper than durdin but got a 30 point lower average which means he might have less cash gen than durdin. Sure durdin probably won’t continue to average 90 but Carroll could have a shit game and get a 30-40 too.
Will have no boost after this trade if I end up doing it, as I am priorotising getting my team as good as possible, as soon as possible, trying something new compared to last year.

Something nice about having Petracca as a forward. He doesn’t need to be 115 to be a keeper if he is mid only, will be happy with 100 ave as a forward.
You can wait, his price won’t go up much. But now is a nice time to get him with Melbourne just having a good win and they face Tigers and Eagles

Hawks game was the worst game I have ever seen Stewart play in his . Watching him play on Sicily was almost comical to see which champ was most out of form. Stewart could still be carrying a knee injury from a few weeks back

With another few matches like the last 2 he could be inline for DEF upgrade & make him a very attractive option. Hard to get a really good read but at low $500k could be a good risk to take. Worse case he becomes M8/9.
If we do numbers in Rozee, let’s say he was Nil in defence for the first 4 games and 100% in defence against Hawks. He was defence probably 50% last week (after Wines went off he was midfield).

You don’t really have much room in the midfield, I’d be looking at a defender.
Holmes is still a good price and BE88.
The other one as a POD is Martin who has a very handy Def/Fwd DPP to swing with Stone. He is $532k and a low BE. He can fix your defence hole for now and then swing forward as your F6 to finish
Easily Flynn for the cash gen. Trac hasn’t gone above 100 yet this year and will be priced similar next week. The pro’s for Trac is that he has good match ups coming up and his CBA time has risen. If I were you I’d be going Flynn this week and Trac next potentially.

Rowell is playing really well this year. seems to be moving quicker.
his scores have been 137, 136, 74, 126, 130.
If it wasn;t for his 74 in round 4 he would be $613k by now ($637k in the old number), so his price is cheap.
he has had an easy run, and his next 6 games look pretty good as well, including 4 of the next 6 as home games (1 of the away games is in brisbane). so its now of never for Rowell.
Two options, TD only leaves me with only one boost to come but need to beef up the team after a couple rough H2H losses. Also C. Oliver is literally the only feasible option to trade out for Daicos unfortunately (any options under $572k would be appreciated);

Not sure WCE have landed on who will play Ruck ongoing in their side. I think even Flynn was quoted after the match stating no one has won the role. Both Flynn and BJ Williams have been given stints in the 1s and 2s… I think that they could potentially flip-flop throughout the season, as well as potentially playing both in the 1s, depending on form and match-up etc.
The team haven’t won a match and are doing the same thing across all lines and players (eg Tim Kelly was demoted, Gross didn’t get a second run, Hall pulled after a few matches, etc).
So – I’m wary bringing in any of their players this season.
Agree….I’m avoiding Flynn for exactly that reason. Also, he rucked for 1/3 of the last game against the likes of Z Reid and Jones….I would have got a few hitouts. Draper actually matched him for total ho and hoa.
COS has probably maxed out. Trainor may have more to make (depending on game time), but it’ll take a few weeks. It just depends on whether you need that money now, or later.
If you’re getting Daicos – who plays Friday arvo before Sunday benches are finalised, via cash from a downgrade – it should be a huge concern. Flynn should be okay, but for Carroll – Cowan listed as a test, surely Doc comes back at some stage?

thoughts on getting Tim Taranto in this week?
Has a good run coming up and his past 4 games have all been over 95 with a high ceiling. 500k and is going to make more money in the coming weeks.
Its either getting in a POD (0.7% picked) and straying away from the pack or grabbing daicos for 100k more and riding the wave with everyone else. Is it to risky to miss out on daicos and take a pod over him?

Not sure about Carroll’s job security and relative value compared to durdin.
Carroll obviously cheaper and great for cash but could lose his place maybe or become sub? He’s 100k cheaper than durdin but got a 30 point lower average which means he might have less cash gen than durdin. Sure durdin probably won’t continue to average 90 but Carroll could have a shit game and get a 30-40 too.

i wouldnt get pretracca this week, probaly not going to be a forward premium only just getting near 100 each week, save up for a premium who you know will be top 10 in their position, such as sinclair next week, he is going to drop 30k and will be cheap for what you know he will be getting.
Something nice about having Petracca as a forward. He doesn’t need to be 115 to be a keeper if he is mid only, will be happy with 100 ave as a forward.
You can wait, his price won’t go up much. But now is a nice time to get him with Melbourne just having a good win and they face Tigers and Eagles

Hawks game was the worst game I have ever seen Stewart play in his . Watching him play on Sicily was almost comical to see which champ was most out of form. Stewart could still be carrying a knee injury from a few weeks back

Rozee. I know the next DPP is based off of the 1st 10 rounds? (or round 11/12 not 100% sure). At least the last 2 matches he has been very highly back 50 – does anyone have any sort of rough % of overall for him at this stage?
With another few matches like the last 2 he could be inline for DEF upgrade & make him a very attractive option. Hard to get a really good read but at low $500k could be a good risk to take. Worse case he becomes M8/9.

If we do numbers in Rozee, let’s say he was Nil in defence for the first 4 games and 100% in defence against Hawks. He was defence probably 50% last week (after Wines went off he was midfield).
Let’s say he averages 50% defence for the next 5 games.
His time in defence over the first 11 rounds will calculate to 36%
(4×0 + 1×100% + 6×50%)/11 = 36.36%

First I would trade out Moraes before Lindsay.
You don’t really have much room in the midfield, I’d be looking at a defender.
Holmes is still a good price and BE88.
The other one as a POD is Martin who has a very handy Def/Fwd DPP to swing with Stone. He is $532k and a low BE. He can fix your defence hole for now and then swing forward as your F6 to finish

Lots of no votes, but given the vest issues going around at the moment I don’t mind this as a quick cash grab. Long obviously won’t be a keeper. BUT if he can average 90 over the next three or four games get to 450K, you can easily paint the fence to upgrade him to an uber premium and it’s happy days.

is someone able to convince me as to why rowell is the clear favourite? his 4 tons have come against the 4 worst teams in the comp, when playing a good side and getting tagged he scored in the 70’s, a potential jordan tag this round too. Petracca has tigers and west coast in next two games and with CBA’s back into the 80% he looks primed to capitalise on Melbourne’s recent swing of form. Can anyone let me know thier thoughts – appreciated.
Rowell is playing really well this year. seems to be moving quicker.
his scores have been 137, 136, 74, 126, 130.
If it wasn;t for his 74 in round 4 he would be $613k by now ($637k in the old number), so his price is cheap.
he has had an easy run, and his next 6 games look pretty good as well, including 4 of the next 6 as home games (1 of the away games is in brisbane). so its now of never for Rowell.

Not sure WCE have landed on who will play Ruck ongoing in their side. I think even Flynn was quoted after the match stating no one has won the role. Both Flynn and BJ Williams have been given stints in the 1s and 2s… I think that they could potentially flip-flop throughout the season, as well as potentially playing both in the 1s, depending on form and match-up etc.
The team haven’t won a match and are doing the same thing across all lines and players (eg Tim Kelly was demoted, Gross didn’t get a second run, Hall pulled after a few matches, etc).
So – I’m wary bringing in any of their players this season.
Agree….I’m avoiding Flynn for exactly that reason. Also, he rucked for 1/3 of the last game against the likes of Z Reid and Jones….I would have got a few hitouts. Draper actually matched him for total ho and hoa.
