Game Chat – Port Adelaide v Adelaide

Written by Thommo on July 19 2015

In honour of the Crow’s late coach, today’s Showdown medal will by named for Phil Walsh and the teams will briefly set aside their animosity by running through a shared banner pre-game. Expect both teams to then crash in from the opening bounce as they fight to keep their season alive.

Port showed spirit in overcoming the Pies last week but they are coming from so far back that they must simply keep winning. The loss of Jaspar Pittard will be felt, with Nathan Krakouer and Aaron Young returning to the side.

Adelaide started well against West Coast but fell away as the game went on. They will be better for the run and they’ll be motivated by the knowledge that a win today will allow them to return to the top 8.

Thommo’s tip: Port by 6 points.

  6. Very proud of the crows today. Scored a ticket from a power member 30 minutes before the bounce. Biggest and most respectful crowd I’ve seen at Adelaide oval

  7. Bagging or raking grass is a hassle, but it is one
particular of the finest techniqies to cut down grass in above ground pools.

  8. Intex oval shaped pools are a good bridge between Easy Setยฎ and Rectangular Metal
Frame pools, combining the added benefits of both.
