Game Chat – Richmond v West Coast

Written by Thommo on June 19 2015

Please find your seats, the Tigers Bandwagon is ready for departure.

Four straight wins against good sides has the Richmond fans shouting the ‘F’ word; the good one for a change. If they make that five straight with a win tonight against West Coast the lid will be off and top 4 becomes a chance.

However West Coast are no push-overs. Sitting third on the ladder the Eagles are quietly going about their business and will be looking to prove they can win at the ‘G against good opposition. The question will be whether the fatigue from short breaks and travelling will take its toll on the Eagles, especially facing the Tigers fresh from their bye.

  1. I really feel like any direction I go here with this trade it won’t be too bad of a result in the long-run, but Saad out for:

    T/U – Houli
    T/D – Simpson

  4. Happy Friday SCT!

    Last minute trade thoughts…. Already went Saad => Sloane last night

    Lonie => Steele
    Krak => Dahl

    Leaves me $5600 in the bank… But still only able to field 16 due to holding Rocky

    T/U: do it
    T/D: could do better

  11. Decent night indeed. Nic Nat and Dusty very handy. Also a sneaky punt on Lecras first goal and Martin most possessions. Can’t complain!

  12. My 3 players tonight: Martin, Nic Nat and Maric. As Meatloaf sang, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad!! Disappointing that Maric’s shocker offsets Nic Nat’s great game, but guess that what happens when one ruck dominates the other. I reckon at the start of the 3rd quarter Nic Nat got the first 6-8 hitouts, all to advantage. He is clearly back to his All-Australian best, and if he continues this form then West Coast excellent chance for Top 4 and him to be All-Australian again. And to think just four weeks ago I was considering a sideways trade to Goldy – just shows you in this game you need to stick fat with your premiums and trust that they will come good.
