Here’s his bets today:

  1. Never like seeing anyone beaten by knockout when past their prime.
In saying that I think Rabchenko will knockout Mundine in the non-title fight on Wednesday night. I will snap up the $2.90 on offer for Rabchenko to win by knockout or TKO.

Rabchenko boasts 18 Ko’s from 25 fights. Mundine has only been knocked out in 2 fights in his 52 fight career , however was knocked down 5 times in his last fight by Joshua Clottey of Ghana who has only 3 knockouts in the past decade. Mundine at 39 years of age is slower on his feet and his evasive skills have diminished from his peak days. My prediction Rabchenko to knockout Mundine inside 8 rounds.

  2. All up a pretty ugly day on the punt on Saturday. Hooter returned nothing and the same can be said of our bonus bet. Dang.

The Spring Carnival is now over which means we’re through all our bonus bets. Fortunately the one BB we did get up – Melbourne Cup – delivered a return of $206.45 so we pretty much got what we started with.

I’m turning to Yiorgakis this week to deliver the goods for us.

Just a reminder that Andy B still has $25 to play with and we’ve got $35 to invest on a cricket bet.

  3. Motts I have got a suggestion or recommendation for our cricket bet.

Australia are on home soil and not playing in the sub-continent so should win the series comfortably. The only factor IMO that will stop a 4-0 clean sweep is the weather.

For that reason I suggest we back Australia individually to win each Test match and double up thru the Test series in each test. However , if bad weather is predicted especially in the 1st test at the Gabba we might leave it alone. Personally I don’t like betting on Draws in the cricket especially with so much time made up these days.
My calculation is $35 doubling up at $1.52 the quote for the Aussies to win the 1st test will add up to $186 and might be more if the odds are better for other tests. The odds for 4-0 are $5 which would add up to $175 and we could be unlucky with the weather.
The other option is to have $25 at 4-0 , and a $10 saver for 3-0 also at $5.
Maybe you could put it to a poll Motts closer to the 1st test starting on the 4th of December , or someone might have another cricket bet suggestion.
