  1. It was going to be Highmore and Weightman to Durham and Dale.

I think I may keep Weightman and trade CCJ

    So CCJ to Dale.

    Forwards now..

JZ . Hall . Danger . Hawkins . Dusty and Dale.

  2. Hey guys thoughts on this trade. Looking to trade out both CCJ and Madden, and am looking at bringing in Mundy via DPP. 5 trades left

T/U – CCJ and Madden to Mundy plus 117k
    T/U – Keep Trades

    1. Not sure on Mundy with Freo stuck in Vic.

At a similar price maybe Taylor Adams? Or wait a week for Guthrie?

  3. Currently looking at my last upgrade with CCJ and Bianco going out..

397,100 exactly remaining for my last forward.

Any fallen premium specials this week up forward? Who to bring in? Unless I wait for Bianco to go up more, can someone tell me his BE?

    Cheers.

    1. Bianco BE 7.

Best 397k FWD options: Daniher, Atkins, Cameron, Heeney. All dicey though.

I’d probably wait a week and see if you can then afford RoMo, Thomas or McDonald.

    1. Really depends on what your looking for. Dale has been more consistent but doesnt really have the ceiling of Hawkins. Dale is probably the better option, but with only 7 weeks left his consistency might not mean as much

      1. Hawkins plays 3 of last 4 at Kardinia which coincides with finals,so if you’re playing for leagues,I would take Hawkins

  4. DEF – Laird, Whitfield, Short, Daniel, Lever, Jiath (Highmore, Bianco)
MID – Parish, J. Macrae, Merrett, Kelly, Petracca, Guthrie, Taranto, Mundy (Edwards, Newcombe, F. Macrae)
    RUC – Gawn, Hickey (Reeves)
FWD – Zorko, Ziebell, Martin, Bolton, Walker, Briggs (Madden, Ralphsmith)

$31,000 spare and 4 trades left.

A bit lost at what I should do concerning my forward line.
Walker I’d assume would be automatically out with the concussion rule (but I don’t think I should get rid of him, as I only traded him in the round that just passed) and I wouldn’t have a single clue if any of Briggs, Madden, Ralphsmith or Macrae get a game this week.

  5. If only ccj didn’t go down trades this week would of been a lot easier! Very unsure of what to do, might even have to hold trades this week. 6 trades left $17k in bank. Any suggestions?
Def – mills, Stewart, Lloyd, Ridley, short, Daniel ( bianco, Murphy)
Mid – bont, Steele, macrae, laird, Oliver, Merrett, Walsh, Taranto ( edwards, Newcombe, bramble)
    Rucks – grundy gawn (reeves)
Forwards – Zorko, zieball, hall, dusty, weightman, ccj (mccreery , brockman)

      1. I think McCreery and CCJ out. Even with a 102k rookie, you will fall just short of DeGoey or Rozee. I would rate your options as Walker, Heeney, Atkins, Lynch.
The last 3 will give you a potential playing rook.
Walker is averaging more than 90, so is the best performing available option. Heeney has a history of 90+, but he’s been rubbish this year. Atkins seems to be finding firm again after a slump. Big Lynch will be important if Richmond are to make a finals run

  6. Ranked 228, playing for overall, 3 trades left:
T/u – Bring in Hawkins, keep Weightman as forward cover
T/d – Have no cover but get Dangerfield

    1. Ooof. That is tough, Andy.

Danger looked phenomenal the other night and, given how many people jumped on him as their last FWD upgrade, it’s gonna start to sting not owning him. Weightman as cover so appealing though, argh.

I’d probably roll the dice and go all in on Danger.

That said, go with your gut – served you well thus far.

      Congrats on the mad rank.

      16

      1. Thanks GD!
Yeah I will probably roll the dice and get Danger. Will leave me with one trade and no cover but not having him will hurt too much!
Good luck rest of season, thanks for the advice!

        1. I think you’re pulling the wrong rein there Andy. There is no way that 1 trade will suffice for the remainder of the year, but there is some possibility that Hawkins and Danger could remain relatively close in averages on the run home.

The close average is more likely to happen than only having to use 1 trade in 7 weeks of footy.

          14

          1
    2. I looked at this very trade – Hawkins will be trying to win the Coleman and their run home allows it.
Big call but I’m going Hawkins.

    1. I’m thinking Rowan Marshall would probably be the best option as he fits in your price range and is a proven scorer

  7. 3 trades left – 2 premos to go. can either leave weightman as F6 or Bianco or Murray as D6 and get one last premo – will leave me a premo short but also leave me a trade for emergencies. the other choice is just leave it with the 2 rookies on and leave 3 trades for emergencies – not sure – ive thrown the white flag out

  8. Hey guys just trying to figure out what to do with my last trades. FWD line is as follows
Ziebell, Danger, Dusty, Hind, Langford, CCJ ( Madden, F.Macrae)
Looking to trade out CCJ and Madden
T/U – CCJ and Madden out, Rowan Marshall and a rookie in
T/D – Bring in someone like Mundy via DPP ( under 500k )

  9. I have 4 trades left and still have weightman, CCJ, and Highmore,
    No cover in forward line.
    254k in the bank. Thingking

    Weightman/CCJ to Dangerfield/Dow

  10. Hating SC this year … Flynn and CCJ both having bade games and losing cash rather than gaining cash have put yet another spanner in my trade plans over this week and next … really sucks … just such a painful year this year

  11. Who scores more pts for rest of year….

    T/U – Langford

    T/D – Daniher

Bearing in mind that Brisbane have got a very soft run and Langford is not getting fck all CBA’s and is playing on a wing…..

    cheers legends

  12. Short and sharp this week community
    Need a VALUE mid:

    TU: ~ 480k for T.Adams / Mccluggage
    TD: ~ 446K for Yeo

    22

    13
    1. Dunstan, BB.

Plays purely on ball, gets put on the best opp. MID but finds plenty of it himself, ultra POD (0.7%) and in great form – had more clearances than Steele today.

      Came back in R11 and has scored: 131, 79, 105, 109, 118 (108 av.).

      15

      1
      1. Thanks GB – I am aware of Dunstan as I let him slip in my Draft league, which I’m still bitter about.

    1. Ok Sloany I have a very bold move, that only works due to McEvoy.

Gawn to Haynes via McEvoy. CCJ to Danger / Hawkins.

It sound crazy, and very well maybe, but with Gawn now sharing the Ruck more, your betting he only goes 115 from here on out.

      Gawn – rookie. 115 and 55 = 170.
      Haynes 95 and Hawkins 95 190
      Haynes 95 and Danger 105 200.

Hawkins means, you get to keep cash for future upgrades.( you really need Briggs and Reeves to play)

      Best of luck..

  16. 2519 this week and thats with Short and Daniel having an off week. So pretty good considering. However, this week I have another pickle to work through.

So current bank, 33k. Nothing really to work with. On field I have D6 as Jiath and my M8 as either Sharp/Newcombe/Bramble (depending on who plays first and loops), to which I need to upgrade before I’m full prem.

My first trade will be CJJ to a 102k rookie, giving me 207k to work with. My second trade will either be:

T/U Jiath to Mills/Lloyd: which leaves 4 trades to get the money to turn Sharp/Newcome/Bramble to a premium; or

T/D Only do the one trade and wait for Sharp/Newcombe/Bramble to earn some more cash before culling them and finishing off my M8 and Jiath upgrade. Cheers

  17. What to do guys
    3 trades left
CCJ is my last upgrade, I’ve got Briggs on bench but not sure if his gonna play again.

Do I upgrade CCJ, I’ll have 335k to spend on any forward.

Cash is gonna be tight because these guys are expensive!

Any advice what to do this week?

    1. got to look at trading out CCJ and Madden as they are both injured and maybe look to bring in marshall or someone else around that price category, maybe go one short in the mid and try and get luke dunstan who is in great form

  19. 5 trades left and one rookie mid on field (been loopholing Weightmann too so I can swap around) But I do have Daniher on field in fwd line too.

Don’t have enough cash to upgrade my mid rookie to a premium.

TU – Keep trades and keep looping
TD – Trade CCJ to rookie and upgrade Daniher

  20. Hi Guys,

Need a bit of help with my trades this week….

    Thumbs UP: S Darcy + R Marshall

Thumbs Down: B Grundy + DeGoey

    Thanks….

    14

    10
  21. Ok, seems I have problems posting at the moment, so I’ll give it another try. 7 trades left.
    CCJ and Poulter out for
TU Dunstan and J.Sharp this week or wait a week and
TD Get Shuey for your last mid spot.
Will likely need 2 forwards to be Premo after that.

    8

    5
  22. Just short 1k for Grundy, makes it even worse knowing I could have gotten Darcy last week….

CCJ -> Darcy. Full premo / 2 trades remaining

  23. DEF – Laird, Whitfield, Crisp, Stewart, Ryan, Ridley (Briggs, Bianco)
MID – Steele, J. Macrae, Oliver, Neale, Walsh, Boak, Pendlebury, McLuggage (Bramble, Newcombe,Sharp)
    RUC – Gawn, Grundy (Edwards)
FWD – Zorko, Ziebell, Martin, Hawkins, Hall, Weightman (CCJ, Macrae)

    $26k & 4 trades

I’ve been priced out of Danger by going Grundy in last week. Positive out of that was I kept Weightman

    Best move for this week?

    T/U – Weightman & CCJ to Marshall & Rookie ($171k). Miss Danger
    T/D – CCJ & McLuggage to Danger & Rookie. $151k to upgrade Weightman to a mid/fwd in 1-2 weeks

    6

    8
  24. Ok so if I get rid of CCJ and Highmore I can get a rookie and have $496,000. Unfortunately a few grand short for Z. Bailey but can get Dale or Hind. Anyone else worth looking at?

    5

    1
      1. Yep Dale or Hawkins.

Dale is pretty safe for 95 -100
Kick ins keep his floor pretty high.

Hawkins has 3/4 home games SC finals.
        Do you feel lucky ?

  25. Ranked #385. My goal is to push for top 100. I’ve got 5 trades left with 1 fwd upgrade left.

Not sure what to do this week.

T/U: Double Downgrade. Grab Dangerfield next week with 2 trades remaining for LTI

T/D: 1 Up & 1 Down. Settle with De Goey or Wood as my F6 and have 3 trades remaining for LTI

    1. Hey, John.

Congratulations on your rank, you’ve been right up there all year.

If you’ve got the trades, Danger is a must have to be competitive at the top end – will be punished not having him it looks like.

      Good luck!

  26. Currently ranked in top 750..
I have 2 trades left after completing my 2 this week. (Bringing in Danger and rookie)
What would you prefer as F6 option…

    T/U – Daniher + $14,400 for any injury trades

    T/D – Weightman + $100,100 for any injury trades

My bench cover is Treacy + Briggs

    Thanks guys 🙂

  27. Final ‘upgrade’ absolutely cash strapped – has to be a sub $440k player.

TU – Nic Newman (Laird in the mids for DPP swing cover). With Doch out could go back to his days of 90+

TD – De Goey (Dusty in the mids for DPP swing cover). Is his midfield time guranteed going forward?

Would have loved Yeo but am $4k short – thanks CCJ!

    10

    10
    1. Go De Goey for sure mate, I watched him closely on the weekend, he was dominating in a losing side. And he missed 2 easy goals. Could easily have been a 130+ performance. I think 407 k is a bargain.

      4

      1
      1. Thanks Damo, I am leaning this way now too as I have realised structurally the Fwd – Mid swing is more important to me than the Def-Mid swing.

If his midfield minutes are consistent going forward I am all aboard. Marshall is the other one, but with limited trades I can’t trsut his foot.

        7

        1
  28. Thinking CCJ down to Chugg to leave Cox covering 2 lines then Treacy to a premo fwd under $550k either this week or next.. Leaves me with 4 trades and full premo(ish). Have Daniher, Cripps and Cerra as weak links but cover on all lines.
    TU: Yay.
    TD: Nay.

    8

    1
    1. Or wait til Weightman peaks and upgrade him to leave extra cash to upgrade Cripps or Cerra. Will leave Cox as fwd/def cover, Highmore def cover and Treacy fwd cover.
      Yay.
      Nay.

      8

      2
  29. TU: Marshall
    TD: De Goey (+$30k)

Keeping in mind that cash is very tight for me right now and I still have 2 upgrades to do with 5 trades left.

  30. I need one fwd premo in fwd line with 4 trades left
Have to get Danger in this week but not sure who to trade out for him?
    TU Bolton

    Thanks guys

  31. Im thinking….

    H.Jones > Sharp (Via DPP)
    &
    Jordan > Walsh

Leaving me with only one rookie on field, most likely Sharp,
plus Heeney and Jiath (luxury upgrades) also left on field. With 4 trades left.

    Thoughts?

    5

    1
  32. I need to upgrade Koschitzke and can choose either Laird or Mills. The guy im up against this week in my main comp has Laird – should I match him with Laird or go with Mills. Worried that Mills against Bulldogs wont score so well.
    TU: Laird
    TD: Mills
Comment – also could bring in Stewart who might score better than both this weekend against Carlton
    Thanks

    14

    1
      1. Thanks – I chose Laird first and did the trade but then started second guessing myself as Mills has a fractionally higher average and is $45k cheaper which would leave a little more cash in the bank for further upgrades next week. Think I will go with Laird just for the block

        4

        0
        1. Laird should run free against the Bombers this week, so from your matchup perspective this week it’s a good get too

    1. Hey, Jacob.

If you could go CCJ and Weightman to Danger, that’d be the play but you’re a few grand short.

Instead, with 2 premos to go, 5 trades and thin cash generation, I’d consider holding Weightman at F6 and getting as strong an M8 as possible. Weightman F6 is serviceable tbh, but having a rookie M8 will kill you.

Start by culling CCJ immediately and maybe even Edwards if dropped this week.

That’ll give you 300k put into Bianco for a 525k MID the following week; eg. Boak, Fyfe, Pendles, Taranto, Parker or Heppell.

      Good luck.

      4

      0
  34. What do we think Matt Rowell at this point? His scores are starting to creep up and he’s down to $399k

Could be a straight swap with J.Jordan at M8

T/U Am I onto something here?
    T/D Am I high AF

    6

    15
  35. Love some advice.

My season is shot – ranked around 26K and not really moving up or down most weeks. Left a lot of points off field due to poor emergency choices, poor VC loopholing, poor luck and generally poor decisions.

    Team looks like this:

Stewart, Lloyd, Ridley, Short, Daniel, Duryea (Bianco, H.Sharp)
Bontempelli, Lyons, Laird, Oliver, Merrett, A.Brayshaw, Davies-Uniacke (L.Edwards, Newcombe, F.Macrae)
    Gawn, Grundy (Coleman-Jones)
Ziebell, Dixon, Hawkins, Atkins, Heeney, Weightman (Treacy, Madden)

4 trades left and $94.9 in the bank.

I could throw caution to the wind and try and trade up in the next 2 weeks by up/downing 4 of Duryea, Heeney, Daview-Uniacke, Weightman, Madden, Bianco, CCJ (more than likely) to 2 premos and 2 non-playing rooks. but given the amount of swing I have I’m thinking of holding fire for a couple of weeks to cover off any injuries before getting as close to full premo as possible. I’d trade CCJ this week, but the FWD/RUC swing with him and Treacy could come in handy if one of Gawn or Grundy misses a week.

Not really fussed about league wins, just like finishing as high as I can in overall.

  36. Is it just about time for the remaining 20% of us get rid of Cripple and finalise out last mid spot?

    12

    1
    1. I have been trying all year and always had other priorities, and was planning to upgrade Robertson (2 trades) this week. I’ll have the finger hovering on the T button right up till cats/blues bounce and it might just be Cripps straight to Danger in one trade if Cripps misses.

      3

      0
      1. Story of my life. I haven’t been able to trade him because of injuries or byes, or just lack of trades. Got him out for haynes last week and already paying off

        1

  37. So, my last ‘premo’ upgrade and it will have to be something like this:

    Bianco —> Anyone @ 102.4k &

CCJ —> McInerney (the best I can get to) lol

After these two moves, 2 trades left.

    TU: Cop a CCJ donut
    TD: YOLO

    9

    0
    1. what is your price range?
if McInerney is 367 ill say its something like 370k,
the best options there would be maybe Tom Atkins given his form and his new role across half-back, as well as possibly mason wood who has scores of 113, 94, 108 and 97 in his past 5 matches. If Jesse Hogan is selected you could go for him as he is only 310k, and Isaac Heeney could be one to go to and just hope he stays healthy and plays well

      2

      0
  38. Only 4 trades left and need to take some risks – this just isn’t going to plan with the Reeves saga and recent injuries to L Jones, Madden and now CJ not allowing me to build cash.
Planned on CCJ to Marshall but 4K short thanks to CCJ.

TU: I can use 1 trade – CCJ to Bailey Smith or Tim Kelly – liking the punt on Kelly now the Eagles are back on their home deck for 3 of the next 5.
TD: Use 2 trades (CCJ and Madden) allows me to bring in Danger and a spud or Marshall and have 100k+ in the bank.

    2

    12
  39. Need a real Hail Mary this week. Would be easy if Cripps misses and I finally have no choice.

    T/u Cripps-Danger, Robertson-Heeney
    T/d Madness !!!

    10

    2
    1. Instead of Heeney you could go for possibly hogan if he is selected or maybe Paddy Dow given that he has played really well over the past two weeks.

  40. TU: CCJ, Jordon >102k dpp rookies, to get big upgrades next week

  41. I ashamedly sideways’d Neale to Walsh last week without consulting SCT because I didn’t want to cop the flack lol…but… the cash from the sideways has enabled me to go:

    Highmore > A Fyfe
    CCJ > Danger

One upgrade away (with 6k spare) from full premo with 4 trades left after this round.

    6

    0
  42. Considering 1 of the following but interested to hear what people think the best option is.

The first option involves CCJ > Hickey which will allow me to hang onto Highmore and should give me access to a 530k defender as my final upgrade.

The second option will give me Grundy but I’ll have to say goodbye to Highmore and rely heavily on Bianco, L.Jones and Madden for cash gen. I’ll probably end up with around 420-460k to spend on my final Defender.

Looking to sort my ruck situation out now because of CCJ and will have to sort my defence out in the last few weeks given my low number of trades. What do we think?

    TU: CCJ > Hickey, L.Jones (PTA)/Madden > 102k rookie (49k bank)

TD: CCJ > Grundy, Highmore > 102k rookie (10k bank)

    5

    9
  43. Final upgrade:

T/U: Danger/Fyfe (GC) Leaves mid bench of Fyfe (GC) Edwards and Newcombe – but with potential to swing Laird or Bianco to mids

T/D: Marshall/Sharp (GC) Leaves mid bench of Sharp (GC), Edwards and Newcombe – and gives me potential ruck cover for Gawn/Grundy

    Comment: Butters (if named)/Sharp (GC)

  44. My team is at full premium, assuming Shai Bolton stops stinking it up, and I have 4 trades left and am ranked 123. Considering doing a luxury upgrade with Taranto to make a run into the top 100. I have pretty good bench coverage with Bianco and Briggs in DEF, Edwards, Bramble & Newcomb in MID, and Weightman in FWD, so I reckon I can ride the rest of the season with 2 trades.

T/U – Taranto & CCJ to Bont or Parish (leaning Parish as he’s a POD for the top 100) and Reeves or another rookie ruck. 2 trades left.

T/D – Hold trades and look to upgrade the worst forward to Dunkley when he returns.

    1. Alternative solution Johnno. Wait 2 weeks on this trade and bring in Butters at about 50K cheaper (BE: 143).

  45. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I basically have $890k to get a mid premo and a fwd premo to finish my side over the next 3 weeks. Suggestions on the best pts scoring combo to look at?

I definitely can’t get Danger this week within 2 trades, so he’d be someone I get later if at all, but I feel like there’s more merit in looking or a value F6 and a solid M8 instead of the other way around.

  46. Hi could someone please calculate or project for me what score would Walsh need to score this week if his value was to end up at 576k after this week .

I want to get him from round 18 and need him to remain below this 576k figure

  47. Hi could someone please calculate for me what price would Dev Robertson be after this week if he scores only a 30 or 40
    this week .

      1. He’s projected 73 to make $9K

93 will see him about $365K

He still got a heap of CBA’s even with Berry back.

        Good luck

        1. Thanks freo, it’s going to be very tight but think I can make it work even though I might have to get a 102k ruck or fwd.

I was hoping to get reeves 123900 but way too risky to attempt this. I would need Walsh to get only 100 to achieve reeves but is an extremely risky to hope this would work.

If Walsh gets 150 it’s all over and even getting a 102k player is too high. I wouldn’t be able to get him but l could with a 125 -130. Anything under 130 is doable, so I’m going for it.

          Thanks for your insights

  48. DEF: Laird Whitfield Ridley Short Daniel LJones (Bianco Murphy)

MID: Macrae Steele Oliver JKelly Merrett Walsh Brayshaw Taranto (AFyfe Newcombe bramble)

    RUCK: GAWNDY (reeves)

FWD: zorko danger Martin ziebell hall Langford (weightman CCJ)

Last upgrade is Jones. 6 trades. 47k.
Hopefully I’ve made this easy enough to understand .

TU: LJones -> Haynes & CCJ-> MParker or anyone under 140k with JS. He’s gonna break into an underwhelming tigers team soon imo. 4 trades remaining for luxuries/injuries. Langford most likely

TD: CCJ -> JEdwards NMurphy -> Durham
Next week LJones -> 550k defender
3 trades remaining and a Week late on full premium with little to no cover on 2 lines but get a Stewart/Lloyd.

Feel free too comment any thoughts
    Thanks in advance legends.

  49. Question relating F6, remaining team is full premo

Current F6 – Daniher. I had planned to switch to Danger, but his mega score means I can’t afford him by 25k.

With 3 trades left, 111K in bank:
TU: No trade, hold daniher and wait for injuries
    TD: Daniher to Dale

Comment other options (Zac Bailey, Zak Butters, Bolton)

    5

    6
    1. I really like the Bailey pick he looks fantastic atm and a lovely draw for the run home. Zak butters may be eased back into it low TOG with limited midfield minutes. Bolton doesn’t look right he is on reduced minutes and not in that mid rotation as heavily, is he playing injured? That hand?

  50. Number of injuries have derailed my season, need urgent help.
DEF: Laird, Stewart, May, Short, Lloyd, Ridley (Bianco, Fyfe)
MID: Boak, Neale, Macrae, Oliver, Merrett, Kelly, Petracca, Taranto (Edwards, Newcombe, Sharp)
FWD: Danger, Zorko, Ziebell, Martin, Larkey*, CCJ (Briggs, Brockman) -> *brought in larkey as needed to get rid of Madden and didn’t have enough for a good fwd so just brought in the highest projected price increase
    RUCK: Gawn, Grundy (Reeves)
    3 trades left
    55k in bank
Wanting to go full premo fwd with 1 trade left for injury security but have realised that’ll be impossible. So far the best option I’ve come up with is bringing in Darling and McKay for CCJ and Larkey as I think both will at least average 70-80 for rest of season but please give me your best suggestions

      1. Could use the 3rd trade and rely on my bench for security, but make some money for a better forward?

        1

        0
        1. Nah definitely Darling and McKay for me.

The potential sideways to a proper premo assuming one of your better ones go down is too vital, especially considering the sub par forward line most people have.

  51. 6 trades remaining, two spots left before full ‘premium’

TU use two trades to get CCJ > Marshall
TD CCJ > De Goey with one trade

  52. 7 trades left, 2 upgrades to go.
TU: Cripps & CCJ -> Danger & Sharp

  53. 3 Trades left, around 240k ITB, which I was ready to use on Danger, but now coleman jones being on my field is sort of a disaster lol, which is more important:
TU: Highmore – > Danger via DPP
TD: Coleman Jones – > Rowan Marshall ( or another ruck with around 519k to spend)
Comment : Get to Grundy but use 2 trades

Last premo upgrade of flynn, do I?
Tu: Grundy (safe option to keep up with everyone who will have him)
    TD: Darcy (as a POD)

    9

    13
    1. Go the POD in Darcy with that rank, got to do something different to the others. Also Collingwood played 3 rucks last week in Grundy, Mr USA and Darcy Cameron. Plus some are calling for Max Lynch to come back in.

  57. Hi all, almost completed my team
Last week I traded Kosi & Weightman > Danger & Durham
Before trades this week I have 6 trades left and $6,800 ITB.
Any advice/feedback would be greatly appreciated.
DEF: Laird, Mills, Stewart, Whitfield, Lloyd, Short (Madden, Durham)
MID: Macrae, Oliver, ZMerrett, Jelly, Titch, Walsh, Newcombe, Bianco (Brockman, Downie, Bramble)
    RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Reeves)
FWD: Ziebell, Dangerfield, Dusty, Greene, Langford, Bolton (Treacy, Waterman)

    Cheers!!

    1. Double downgrade. Maddern & Treacy > J Sharp & [insert plating rookie]. Use Brockman &/or Bianco DPP if required.
Next week you have $ to upgrade one of your rookie mids.

  58. T/U – Hold trades and play Weightman F6. Wait to see how Butters goes

T/D – Weightman and CCJ to a sub 500k fwd premo – Dale, DeGoey or Marshall

    13

    4
  59. Who do i trade out for danger??

    T/U – Daniher

    T/D – Weightman

baring in mind trading daniher will give me 100k bank for injuries and weightman will have 15k

    11

    11
    1. Go Danger buddy, he is a lot more likely to hurt you by not having him compared to not having Dale.

      8

      1
  60. What would you do – with 4 trades left before this round, and wanting to get my last rookie off the field (Poulter)

TU: Use 2 trades – OUT Highmore & CCJ, IN Marshall & $102k rookie
TD: Use 1 trade only – Highmore for Harry McKay (via DPP)

Both options give me bench cover in all positions, but the Marshall trade gives me ability to swing him into ruck if needed, via Edwards.

    7

    4
    1. I’m not as hot on Marshall as everyone else seems to be.

Only 64% TOG last week and plantar fascia injuries can be re-aggravated very easily.

Can you grab a 400k~ De Goey, Daniher, Rozee, etc., in one trade, Lisa?

      3

      1
      1. Unfortunately not GB – will only have $336,300 after trading out Highmore. I do also have concerns with Marshall due to his injuries this year but there’s slim pickings in that price bracket. Other options instead of McKay could be Hogan or Darling.

I may just run with the one onfield rookie this week – will keep an eye on opposition matchups.

        2

  61. Is there any concern that Cameron’s injury affects Dangerfield CBA’s/ role moving forward.
Or does his performance last week, Duncan injury and Guthrie struggles mean he’s a lock to stay in the middle.
As a non owner this is the discussion i had wirh my therapist yesterday to help me get over his pts explosion on the weekend.
    PS, it didn’t help!!

    1. Has Lycett, has been splitting duties with Jackson and his scoring lately is just not of a VC candidate.

Go Steele and be wary of Macrae, got held to a sub ton due to the Hewett tag last year

    1. Yes. Fyfe will be hampered by his shoulder injury for the rest of the season as he has chosen to delay surgery until seasons end.

      1

  62. Have 7 trades left with CCJ on field at F6 as last upgrade. Happy with all premiums except running Taranto and Pendlebury at M7 & M8. I have 2 options for this weeks trades and would love everyone’s advice.

TU – Downgrade CCJ to help bring in a premium at F6 in Round 18 or 19 (1 trade).
TD – Downgrade CCJ, use the cash to upgrade Pendlebury to Lyons and delay the F6 until Round 20 or 21 (two trades).

Sigh, will still loop him with Bramble.

  64. My final upgrade in defense this week to complete the full premo team.
    I’ll be left with 2 trades to cover injuries over the last few rounds, just weighing up the value of points vs. potential cash needed for emergency trades;

    T/U: Mills +$10K ITB
    T/D: Ridley +$60K ITB

    15

    2
  65. 3 trades left, $129k in the bank. Carrying CJ & Madden on the FWD bench. Not sure what to do with WEIGHTMAN.

TU: Hold Weightman F6 for now
TD: Trade Weightman to Marshall (gets me to full keeper and 2 trades left for the remainder of the season)

    8

    3
  66. Besides Durham from the Bombers, are there any $102,000 rookies that may play this year? Any DPP would help (MID/FWD would help) (My team can be found above) as this week I plan on double downgrading for $$ for next week upgrades.

  68. Posting this again because I’ve only have 5 forwards playing, which has been happening for the last week or two. No Walker, Briggs, Ralphsmith or Macrae.

DEF – Laird, Whitfield, Short, Daniel, Lever, Jiath (Highmore, Bianco)
MID – Parish, J. Macrae, Merrett, Kelly, Petracca, Guthrie, Taranto, Mundy (Edwards, Newcombe, F. Macrae)
    RUC – Gawn, Hickey (Reeves)
FWD – Zorko, Ziebell, Martin, Bolton, Walker, Briggs (Madden, Ralphsmith)

$31,000 spare and 4 trades left.

    1. Hi Corey Trades are getting low so I would be tempted to hold an cop the donut. You have Petracca’s score to help off set the damage.

I know you hate donuts so there’s a possible solution.

Trade out Highmore . Move Briggs to D8.

Move Fin Macrae to Forwards. Then Trade in Durham or Ginnivan.

This will open the dpp with Briggs and Madden and Bianco and Durham or Fin and Ginnnivan.

Then in a few weeks you can 1 up 1 down Madden and Briggs to best available forward with just the one injury trade.

      Best of luck.

  69. stumped with who to trade out for danger down back. have Highmore, Bianco, and J.Madden. who has the least cash gen to come. To me, it seems like Highmore but should I risk missing out on his bigger scoring potential.

    1. If you don’t need Highmore on field and your DEF is complete, then np trading him to get Danger.

  70. Hey everyone!

I’ve got 173k to work with and 3 trades left.

I want to use 1 trade to move CCJ on (gives me a max spend of 449k). I’d like to keep my other trades to upgrade Cripps come finals.

Can I get some opinions on:

    TU: De Goey
    TD: Marshall

    Thanks!

    1. Hey, Julian.

Said a few times this week that RoMo’s 64% TOG and how easily plantar fasciitis injuries can be re-aggravated doesn’t inspire confidence.

Prefer De Goey in an on ball role.

      5

      0
      1. Tossing up this one myself for final upgrade for Robertson…I’m liking DeGoey’s new role, and Marshall still a foot risk. DeGoey only stupid idiot risk !! Have the magnificent Treacy as ruck cover !!

        1. Would Bolton be worth considering after this round instead? With CCJ’s injury, he could be held another week surely.

          0

          0
          1. Matt Kennedy (M/F) is another worth consideration Julian, GWS academy player, pick 13 now with Carlton. Played 2 games early in the year as medical sub (I think) and then injured the following week (scored 16 & 26) and his 3 games back have been 115, 70 (24 possessions) and 116. Good CBA’s and $418k.

I seriously looked at him last week but sat instead to see what Danger did (oops!) who I have now brought in this week.

Good luck with whatever you decide

  71. 7 trades and $10K

Have CCJ, Robertson and Poulter in FWD
    Madden on bench

    TU: Robertson/Poulter to Danger/Durham
TD: Robertson/CCJ to Dale and Sharp
    Comment: CCJ/Poulter to Dale/Durham

    Cheers

  72. It’s really team dependent if the M/F helps your set up , I like Ginnivan.

I think the Pies are much more likely to give the kids a go.

While the Bombers are still a chance to make finals, they are less likely to mess with their team unless injuries occur.

    Best of luck.

    5

    1. Parish or Bont – Parish is more of a POD – owned by 9.5% whereas Bont is owned by 34%. Both get favourable scoring by CD it seems and both know how to find a ton of footy

      2

      0
  73. Parish
    Bont
    Touk
    Lyons

    Macca is spot on..

I rate Parish and Bont about the same for points 125-130,but Parish is a relative POD so takes top spot.

Touk and Lyons PODs as well and good for 118 – 123

Danger could go close to Touk and Lyons, and he’s only $535K if you don’t own him already.

    Best of luck.
