Game Chat – GWS v Hawthorn

Where and When: 1:10pm at the MCG

What it means for the Giants: A win could get them into the eight, or at least tied with percentage determining just where. Possibly playoffs.  A loss leaves them in tenth and still struggling to get into finals

What it means for the Hawks:   Pretty much nothing.

Supercoach Watch:

Giants: Flynn! Taranto, Bruhm, Green and/or Greene, Kelly, Briggs, Cumming

Hawks: Jiath, T Mitchell,  Koschitzke,  Phillips still maybe.

Father Dougal’s Watch:  THe empty void where Impey used to be.

Father Dougal’s Tip:  Have to go with the Giants this year. By 20.

  1. All my fingers and toes are crossed that josh Kelly is not a late out. I don’t really feel like taking bianco’s 55 today.

  2. I’ve waited 10 years for O’Brien to take that mark. Always looks like he’s gonna take a hanger but he’s finally taken one!

  3. Haven’t watched the game. Can anyone tell me what job role Haynes had? Has he been that free man down back intercepting and cleaning up the mess or locking down?

    • Well done Tom.

That Day kid deserves a Rising Star nom.

SC star of the future. Good in the air, has pace and composed with the ball. Its a big call but, he reminds me a bit of a young Nat Fyfe.

      • Thanks freo, was a bit nerve racking in the end. His attack on the footy and commitment is fantastic. Loves to take on the game down back, Im hoping next year when sicily is back him or CJ will go on a wing, they will be so exciting to watch!
