ie roles and expectations v actual presentation of skills and duties
There is a corps that want the coaches to select the winner, last people who should do it imho.
Journos can’t get out of the way of their own narratives. Leave it where it is, accept that it’s not an award for the whole year. 10/12 great games is enough to win the medal! Neale drove his owners nuts in terms of s/c this year, most notably GD and I admit to having bought him in for Clarry. But it should never be confused with the fact that for 18 games he was great and in a dozen of those he was amazing! Note to self,the umpires like Will Ashcroft.

Atrocious count. Nothing against Neale but he was objectively just not the best player in the competition. Bont and Racca hard done by at the top end and then just some absolute memes like Dunkley with FOUR votes lmao.
