Small or Far Away, Father Dougal on Cows

Hi Everybody!

I’m feeling better, although not all the way right.

Um…

Yeah, too easy huh? Anyways, I do have something I have been thinking about. Whenever making a move with a very few trades left, think about what your team will look like if your top two mids get hurt after a low score next round. Or maybe your best mid and a ruck. Where you have no cover.

Or Aaron Hall

Yeah, thanks for the reminder. Being covered by Nick Diacos, so not that bad…

Anyways, I wouldn’t say don’t make that last upgrade, for example, but I sure would think about what it will mean of things go further pear shaped.

Gonna start trimming the cows to the ones that seem like they are actually useful. At this point most of the cows I have been tracking are often very low ownership and not really chaining in price much. I’ll try and add in new one though.

Defenders

Noah Answerth:   Has plateaued and is being dropped from Cow Talk

Jake Bowey: Has plateaued and is being dropped from Cow Talk

Sam De Koning: Did not play

Josh Gibcus: Off to Moo-ron Mountain.

Mitchell Hinge:  Has plateaued and is being dropped from Cow Talk

Patrick McCartin: He’s kinda all over the place scoring wise, but I think he is owned enough to warrant him not being dropped.

Kidean Coleman:  Not that bad an option to keep as a starter if needed. Would have been nice to have him at the start of the year. Has more cash to make now.

Jacob Wehr:  Has a job and making money.  What’s not to like. (Note to SC Gods, please do NOT answer that, thanks!)

Massimo D’Ambrisio: Not like making money is such a thing now, but still, he is making money! Seems to have a job, and if you think he’ll stay on the field I might even bring him is this week if you need a defender downgrade.

Midfielders

Jarrod Berry:  If you are going to sell him, now looks like the time. He is suddenly a good backup. Still, if you have trades, he could really help upgrade somewhere.

Jye Caldwell: Has plateaued and is being dropped from Cow Talk

Nick Daicos:  Wow! Rule of three says he hits his top price in two rounds. His last four matches says keep him, maybe start him. who needs that last defensive upgrade? Can wait and see since his price is very likely to go up.

Ben Hobbs: Has plateaued and is being dropped from Cow Talk

Brady Hough: Still making slow cash.

Robbie McComb: Has probably made abut what he will make, although as always a big score can fix that.  Mostly valuable by being a Fwd/Mid with a job.

Rucks

Hugh Dixon:  Did not play

Tristan Xerri: Appears to be a playing ruck. What more do you want?

Sam Hayes: Did not play

Braydon Preuss: Did not play

Forwards

Charlie Curnow: Has plateaued and is being dropped from Cow Talk

Jade Gresham:  Not a cow.

Nicholas Martin:

Josh Rachele:  Off to Moo-ron Mountain. If he ever goes big he can come back.

Hugo Ralphsmith:  Getting boring, may well be put out to pasture next week.

Malcolm Rosas: Sorry I messed up his projection last week. Have to watch when someone misses a week or two.

Please let me know if I missed someone or messed something up.

Dodgy Advice:

It may be time to bring in a low cost DPP as a downgrade who can let a better DPP cover two lines. All depends on your team of course, but if you need cash and there is nobody looking good to downgrade to, might work.
