Game Chat – Adelaide v Richmond

Written by Thommo on August 7 2015

The lid is off! The excitable Tiger fans are eyeing off their first premiership since 1980 and are not overly concerned with facing Adelaide this week. And why would they be? With the demise of Hawthorn and West Coast (almost), Richmond are the form side again and they know how to win on the road so they should have little trouble with the Crows.

But as I keep telling everybody who will listen, this is Richmond. The Tigers have the ability to dash the fans hopes at any time and the rumour is that their Barometer, Brett Deledio, may not play. The Crows’ best football is still good enough to trouble any team, especially at Adelaide Oval, so if their tall forward line of Jenkins, Lynch and Walker can break the shackles of Rance and his stingy mates, this game could go close.

Thommo’s tip: Richmond by 4 goals.

  2. Final trade of the year done. Decided on Beams > Dangerfield and whacked the VC on Danger. Hopefully the, with the Crows needing a win, Danger goes big. Fingers crossed.
