Draper and little Ash looked very decent from their game-time, hard to gauge Gallop though, seemed to be playing defensively on Thilthorpe when I actually did see him, Peatling didn’t set the world on fire but had 20+ and most would have been CP’s, pretty solid.
I started him last year and had to carry him all the way – he did get better after the Crows bye…damage done by then.
Tell you what though, when he is in at CBA – not with Crouch/Laird, instead now with 2 of either Soligo, Rankine or new boy Draper, Crows fans might have reason to rejoice. A couple of times in the last qtr, the blistering pace of Soligo/Rankine/Draper left Neale and co miles behind, Dawson’s left foot delivery just icing on top. As a Port fan, I’m happy with Butter/Rozee/JHF but the sheer pace of the Crows from stoppage was a sight worth watching
Rankine, Peatling first CBA. Ashcroft wing.

Great read, Steve.
Peatling 13/21 contested. That’s huge. 60%.
Bloody hell Dawson looked good. Possibly the best kick in the game. It’s just pre season, it’s just pre season, it’s just pre season…
