The Brisbane machine got things started in the midfield, where Hugh McCluggage (20 disposals) put in a brilliant game on the wing, Jarryd Lyons (27) took on the star-studded Richmond brigade and was the best clearance player on the ground and Jarrod Berry didn’t take a backward step. Daniel Rich, too, was terrific off half-back with 20 touches. But they were also well served by a (largely) accurate forward line sparked by Cameron’s brilliance, with the Lions star booting three pivotal goals.
Match Preview: Even without the services of the reigning Brownlow Medallist, the Lions are flying right now and sit 4th on the ladder. Richmond on the other hand have been patchy dropping games to teams they shouldn’t be. Coach Hardwick would say this is exactly where he wants his team to be at this time of year but is it though? OK all – at a loss for the best trade in option. I’m looking at Lyons, Guthrie and Duncan.
All averaging about the same. All consistent. Lyons has the lowest BE and the highest value.
Lyons though has the R13 bye and I already have three premo mids with that Bye.
I think that maybe has answered my own question … the Cats players are the better option aren’t they? If so which CAT is the better option?

Hey Macca tricky choice you got there. I know you have 3 premo mids r 13 but Lyons is too good IMO. I’d go Lyons but if I had to pick between 2 cats I’d go Guthrie

Good to hear you backed him Macca! He’s on 80 with 10 to go in the 3rd. Is a great pod and his consistency causes very little stress for owners. Trust me you’ll love him!

Daniher in a great role as far as key FWDs go. Playing as that second ruck and really developing some craft and tap work.

Most had him ranked at 1 in that draft. GWS traded up with Brisbane to get pick 2 and took Taranto after Essendon took McGrath at pick 1. Brisbane said they would have taken Cluggs at pick 1 if they had it.
