Where and when: GABBA at 7:45pm (AEST)
Last time they met: R17, 2020: Brisbane 11.7 (73) def Sydney 6.5 (41) at Cazaly Stadium.
Brisbane were in control for much of the match but never really put Sydney away, with the Swans edging within 2 points after kicking the first two goals of the final quarter. Despite Neale being tagged and held to just 15 disposals by Ryan Clarke, the Lions steadied with six of the next seven goals to run out comfortable victors and lock in a top 2 position.
Match Preview: This is a case of a very experienced, gun team lining up against a developing team so this match should really end in a comfortable win for the Lions. While the Swans held the Lions last time out for three quarters, they’ll be hard-pressed to repeat that effort at the GABBA. All eyes will be on Daniher debuting for his new team – against the team he was initially meant to be traded to.
Awkward!

Watching my hawkers come back really well! Whats happening to Neale? just getting shut out?
Gulden 89* on the bench….. dammit crying inside
101 points now. I feel your pain.
Two hundred point rookies on the bench but I’m still a happy man. Swans looking good.
Oh yeah. Caarn the Swans. Very sharp.
Massive upset brewing at the Gabba!
The theme of uber premos scoring poorly is continuing – I’m looking at you Neale and Lloyd!!
Three quarter time scores
Swans lead Lions 108 – 67!! No misprint!

All 4 of the players who are the most expensive is their position are going to be sub 100, unless Lloyd scores 24 points in 10 minutes
Thanks Errol Gold un
Traded out Powell to get Gulden,s emergecy score
So far it appears that the correct ruck structure for 2021 = Hickey + rookie….
Hickey looked very good … playing a good role …

What’s up with lachie Neale???
25 touches – second most for Lions to J Lyons with 28
9 kicks, 16 handballs, 0 tackles, 13CP’s, 3 clangers, 72%DE – not a favourite of CD anymore??
Does that mean panic stations??
Tu ; Idiotic thought, HOLD!
Td ; trade Neale quickly!!
He struggled with Sydney last year too. I wouldn’t worry.
Traded daniher to loop to get Rowe score. Good move.
I should’ve kept the faith with Mills and Campbell’s role was disappointing…but this thread makes me so happy that I do not care!
Don’t like Taranto being named on the forward flank and think LDU is due to break out his the main man at North his game is made for SC he is contested and tackles.
TU: LDU
TD: Taranto
