In/Out:

  • Out: Jamison (Omitted), Whiley (Omitted), Boekhorst (Hamstring)

Western Bulldogs

  • Out: Murphy (Knee – Get well soon Bob!)

Game Notes:ย Plenty of SuperCoach relevance in this one to keep us occupied all game. Weitering and Adams continue to provide better returns than most “premium” defenders and will be on show again tonight.

Plowman, Sumner and Adcock will all make their first appearances in new colours tonight, the latter replacing long-time fan favourite Bob Murphy.

With so many young up and coming midfielders featuring in both camps tonight, including future Brownlow contenders, Cripps and Bontempelli there is so much to look forward in this match.

  1. Obviously a few to watch especially Weitering, JJ (expect a better return than against Hawthorn), and Adams.

Calling it early – Adams versus Weitering for rookie of the year, with Papley 3rd.

Plowman a watch, might make a good downgrade target in a few.

Other than that, only likely result is Wright rubbing my nose in it again.

  3. I asked this in the Ess/Gee thread, but it’s a bit quiet there now.

To take Walla’s score, who would you bench?

    1. Yep…….kicked a goal from outside 50 and TWANG! If you’ve got him, he’ll be out for a couple of weeks

    1. Suckling rolled his ankle, doesn’t look too serious. Johannisen will be out for a few weeks though. Bad luck for the TEAM and anyone that brought him in, he was looking good again tonight……

  6. They’re going to make a movie about my shambolic backline trading.

Punted Yeo for JJ two weeks back. Yeo improves and JJ struggles then does a ‘string.

I give up. Where’s the scotch!!!!

    1. It certainly sucks, but it’s done now. Trade him out for an in form player and more than likely bring him back during the bye round upgrades when he’s fit.
