2 minutes til the bounce and I still haven’t committed too bruhn.. so many unknowns with JS , starting bench and chris scotts split personality disorder.
starting on bench has me penciling him for only 30%CBAs, not enough. Gut says pass.
Also I’m putting it on the record here now that my massive call for the year is Pies to miss the 8. (Bring on the thumbs down). Not here to upset anybody but that’s my big call – happy for all the pies supporters to bring this back out when you make the GF hahaha
Maybe I’m just jealous haha.
I ran some scenarios on their finish last year with all their close games and if they lost a small # of them they would have been borderline for the 8 so that’s what I’m basing my ‘big call’ of the year on. I ask my mates every year for one so that was mine. 🙂
They were super impressive last night, great win. Quality of football from both teams certainly a step above the game the night before!
Congrats on the win to all the Pies supporters out there
Thats true, though if he misses 2 weeks his price may not change until round 5. He will need two solid outings or he could still be a far bit cheaper when we are ready to upgrade.
Can anyone tell me much about T.Cole An Stockers JS and Scoring potential? I am fading McKenna on JS. which of the 3 would you take? even throw goater in the conversation
I know it’s only round 1 but so far two of the more popular midprices have been below par and gone unders on people’s expectations. May make a little bit of doubt creep in to people’s minds on the other popular players like worpel, setterfield, Flanders & Callaghan.
But gee Bruhn looked fantastic in that first half though, he worked hard and was everywhere.
Any possession he had was a not hitting a target 47% DE that match.
Still shows promise if he is more efficient, but that midfield really needs to lift
Jordy De Goey was my breakout mid this year. As a pies fan can see him playing almost pure midfield & at the game tonight seems to be the main tap target.
Hope he continues like this & can stay consistent.
No late changes.
Subs –
Geelong: Brandan Parfitt
Collingwood: Reef McInnes
Evening guys, what do we reckon is there any chance that bruhn is a sub?
Nil
Brandan Parfitt is the sub.
Sorry mate meant could he get subbed out like Cowan did yesterday

Zac touhy 36 points 5 minutes into the game
Touhy in one of my draft sides. loving the Irish on Paddy’s day.
And finished with 70
Rat on fire. Don’t have him but one to watch – going to be some rookie adjustments in the next couple weeks I reckon!
Tom Stewart looks in trouble – straight down to the rooms
33% ownership.
Big news.
Bruhn lively and very deft.
Wasn’t sold on role but firming to prove me wrong.
Backed him in with confidence. Was almost a lock for me.
Paying off for the 1st quarter, hope this continues.
Stewart though……

Pies supporter so a big thumbs down from me
Thanks Lisa! Exactly what I expected lol. I’m sure there are more out there.
Nah, they’re good Jam.
Strong system.
I, like any thinking person, can’t stand them but they’ll play finals again.
Maybe I’m just jealous haha.

Any chance you can bag the Pies each week during the season?

Brilliant quarter of footy all round. Fantastic stuff
Looks like Stewart will survive.
Stewart subbed out
Ooof.
First fallen premium to come on to the radar…..
Doubt it would be much of a fallen premo when this score only affects 1 round of pricing
Yeah Nato.

Salty Stewart owner with the thumbs down lol.
At 600k with a score of 20, you bet your ass it is.
Nice goal hawk!!!
Can anyone tell me much about T.Cole An Stockers JS and Scoring potential? I am fading McKenna on JS. which of the 3 would you take? even throw goater in the conversation
thank you
Bruhn getting a lot of bench time
Lmao. Cox. What is happening.
Great game.
Talks a big game for barely making best 22.
Bruhn and Holmes both looking good
Danger with 60% TOG which is the least of any Geelong person other than Parfitt/Stewart
Danger got hit by the beer truck. He’s just not the same as a few year ago.
Nick Daicos rewarding those that held the faith. He has been everywhere.
70 point first half is elite.
Bruhn good early, then started on the wing those last few CBA’s.
40 point half is still solid scoring from the kid.
74% TOG and then only 55% DE which is holding him back
Yep I jumped off after having him all pre season…..
Kid could be the best player in the comp for 8 years straight
I could run around with no oppt, no contested footy, and cheap out the back handball receives and score 100.
Can’t believe no def forward on him.
No you couldn’t
If Stewart and DK are down, they may take Blicavs back to the backline.
Any news on DK?
DK back on the ground for the second half.
Ugh, Poor Howe, that looked awful
And now Jeremy Howe with a broken arm, devastated! Huge collision with Stengle.
Hate seeing those injuries, hope he recovers quickly.
Absolute carnage going on in this game, 2 quality teams going about it tonight.
Stewart had a leg/knee brace on walking along the sideline
Cracking game. Shame about the injuries though.
Bruhn doing well when he actually gets time on ground but 63% TOG is a big worry.
Seems to have the talent but not the endurance
Wonder if Parfitt had an effect on that due to an early sub

These Geelong mids are getting little TOG
Guthrie, Danger and Bruhn all below 75%
Just seem to have no fitness
I don’t think I even sighted bruhn in that final term? That’s worrying
Any possession he had was a not hitting a target 47% DE that match.

Ran out of gas by HT and missed targets all night.. not sure he’ll get too many more opportunities in the cats B22, sub next week?

Bruhn so much more wing time after that 1st term
His CBA count in quarters 7,5,4,0

Leppa says 50/50 split cox/Cameron so looks like I’m gonna go Lycett 2nd ruck
Guthrie had 28 CBA with only 15 disposals and 3 clearances (2 CCL, 1 SCL). For 64 SC points
Just 2 years ago he was averaging 113 for the season where his first half was at 120 average.
Unless this was a one off, I hope from that he gets less time on ball for the younger ones to get more on ball like Bruhn
