  1. Hoping to sort out my loophole for the season.
I have Flanders at F6 so feel like I will never need field a rookie in the forward and ruck line for majority of the season. Which means that Madden’s importance as a loophole is purely for captaincy options.
I’m considering Gillbee which opens up the opportunity to loophole rookies in my midfield and defence lines, as well as have a captaincy loophole.
So realistically my two options are:
    TD: Ratugolea (R3) + Gillbee (M9)
TU: Madden (R3) + Any of Phillipou, Phillips or Chesser (M7 with Baker and Davey on the bench as well)
Would love to hear your thoughts too.

  2. TU: Laird + cheap named rookie (Uwland, Chandler, Michalanney)
TD: Macrae + unnamed, better-futures rookie (Phillips, McLean, Phillipou)

    1. Turns out Phillipou has the green dot so going to have my cake and eat it too with Laird+Phillips+Darcy -> Macrae+Phillipou+Witts and cash to spare. Thanks coaches!

      1. Kinda have to at this point tho my team is set and I would have to change my structure to get rid of one

  4. Tu: bruhn
    Td: ziebell

Don’t trust bruhn at the moment or more so scott. Ziebell will also be a stepping stone but with DPP in round 6, love that.

  5. Who to own and play onfield?

TU: McKenna but $149.7k ITB for flexibility in rounds 2 & 3.
TD: Hunter Clark but only $2k ITB

  6. TU: Ben King (easily best 22 so best job security by miles, varied scoring but will play and go large at some point, will be on bench so if rested on occasion as returns to match fitness, no worries)
TD: One of Long / Caminiti / Chandler / Comben / Pedlar / Bruce

I don’t know much about the rookies but looking for FWD bench cover, so cash generation and job security are more important than consistent scoring.

  7. On field… Best combo

    TU: Dawson (D2), Jones (D4), Sheezel (F5), Phillipou (F6)

    TD: Ridley (D2), Chesser (D6), Fyfe (F5), Sheezel (F6)

  8. Gulden, Calahan, (Sheezle bench) TU
    Cogs, Sheezel (Phillipo bench) TD

Cooling on Calahan’s wing role after watching Bruhn die there last night. Not 100% sold on Gulden, but a bit scared of fading him given ownership % and ceiling.

Cogs feels more likely to be a top 6 forward and has an easy draw. Hope he’s over that knee knock! Sheezle has wce.

  9. Midfield bench spot, Long (Eagles) maybe has better job security, but Uwland a better role at the moment?

    TU: Long
    TD: Uwland

    1. Not backing Uwland due to players like Weller, Powell looking to be back in a couple of rounds. Then Fiorini is an emergency. Don’t back the JS

  10. Am I crazy for considering tom Powell at F5 over flanders? Insane junior numbers and got the role, Named in the centre…

    Talk me out of it

  11. for my F5 spot
    TU: Ziebell
    TD: Powell

Goater is D3 so ziebell DPP in Rd6 looks the play just hope he’s averaging 90+.
But I rate Powell highly. very good junior number and got the role

  12. Late minute crisis of confidence. Bruhn’s mediocre showing last night giving me heebee jeebees. Midpricers vs G&R.

    TU: B.Campbell, Callaghan, Flanders
TD: Angus Brayshaw, Uwland, Noah Young

  13. Last minute decision

    T/U Dawson & Bytel (bench) – $3.6k bank
T/D Cumming & Pedlad (Phillipou to bench) – $71k bank
