    1. I’m backing Miller has 2 rounds ago Oliver had 178 against North with 45 disposals. I expect Miller to follow a similar pattern.

      1. Haha bad luck on Stewart pal he was looking good too. Got Miller, Witts and Curtis in this one. Won’t settle for less than 400+ points combined.

  3. 33 degrees in Darwin…..
That could really effect players and their scoring today.
I forgot to consider that :/

      1. Potential thunderstorm, therefore lightning which could stop the game. I wonder how the 3300 scoring would go then

  4. Anyone else have that feeling that all the players you pick in your team play terrible and the person you’re up against in leagues players seem to be all superstars?? Lol

  5. that’d be right – Laird actually got downgraded not upgraded – expected him to update over 140 … think he dropped from 138 to 136 …

Hey GD – I didn’t watch the Crows match, but if you did (or anyone else did) what is the story with ROB?? 40 HO’s but only 78 points – with 77DE, 9 possies, 1 tackle and 1 free for??? …. something funny with that scoring … or was just about every tap of his to an eagles player???

    1. I didn’t really get to see it, but in terms of stats he was on 46 at half.
He then had 12 hitouts in the last term when the Eagles were more dominant having a lot more inside 50s. He then only had 3 disposals and a mark in the 2nd half.
That may have something to do with it

    2. ROB, pretty ineffective from what I saw, either getting sharked or big slaps to space covered by Eagles.

    1. I didn’t either, as was concerned about reports of him with a bandage on his calf….decided to take Lairds VC anyhow so no complaints.

      1. I had v on Macrae, and also was worried about Touk. Neale is back up if I’m desperate. Rowell big ton would help.

  7. ……..and one for the polls maybe,

“Should a player that gets “subbed out” be given a mandatory 7 days???”……..

    1. I see where you’re coming from, but if you do that there will be pressure on the Doctor to send an unfit player back out so they can play the week after, putting them in danger. It is super annoying they get a competitive edge, but the whole idea is to protect the injured player from themselves and their club, and therefore IMO it needs to stay the way it is.
If we want to make it not a competitive edge, we need to remove the interchange and make every one a permanent sub. Might have the added benefit of opening the game up a bit.

      1. OK, fair call, but didn’t we use to do that when we had 19, then 20, then interchange 22 came in………

Sorry Wighty, didn’t see under my late reply…….

      1. I have watched him pretty closely, and reckon Rowell plays his best footy when it is either wet or slippery.

He doesn’t score well when the ball is “pinging around” with lots of marks in dry conditions.

I have no stats to back this up, but have watched him play & score well in wet or slippery conditions.
