Really hard to get a read on the scores posted, it felt like another practice match after halftime.
Pies looked underdone which really underlined their aging stars. GWS just ran them off their feet.
So Taylor’s big score, he’s a star, but he’s never averaged higher than 89. 5 of giant’s top 9 scorers were backmen too, so it just shows pies had no system and no run going forward.
Callaghan should be a breakout contender, averaged 82 last year so priced unders, but by how much? Can he get to 100+?
Huge score from CDarcy which he can do, but had no opposition for most of the game. A good sign though and will at least average for what you pay, if not more.
Another one that impressed me today is Brent Daniels, looked good when he went through the middle. Do we think that continues once Green is back or nah? I’m leaning nah but he could be a shrewd POD if you think he’ll keep getting those mid rotations.
NO LATE CHANGES
SUBSTITUTES
Greater Western Sydney: Jacob Wehr
Collingwood: Ned Long
Stone, leak & Allan all survive the vest.
Watchlist:
Allan
Stone
Leake
Whitfield
Callaghan
J.Daicos
Perryman
Is Bedford straight to Naicos?
Daicos tag watch for sure, GWS have said they’ll send Bedford to him.
I still have slight interest in Callaghan. 4th year player, plenty of signs to say he can break out. Watching with interest
Geez hes peaking your interest Harry. Started this first quarter on fire.
On my radar too, harry.
Looking very slick the first quarter.
Just oozes class.
where to get live SC scores if fanfooty not working?
Footyinfo app
Fanfooty seems to be working fine for me on browser.
Briggs looks down injured and looks to be subbed. Not sure how serious could be.
Keeffe $180k could be interesting if this is a few weeks
Stretcher is out for Briggs
Briggs down for a long time in a big clash and about to be stretchered off.
Josh Daicos (MID $482k) could be worth watching.
Josh Daicos played 84% wing to round 19 last year, then 100% in defence from round 20 onwards.
He scored 127, 54, 106, 93 and 140 in defence, to average 104.
Could gain DPP. round 6.
Are any of the GWS suspended players a threat to Stone and Leaks JS
I’d say there would be a lot of competition for small forwards.
Gruzewski $119k FWD is also playing.
Early crow but I’ve seen enough. Going to start with all three of Roberts, Short and Perryman at the back and see what happens
Looks like we might have to pick a bunch of the mid-priced DEF with the already thin defensive rookies getting picked off one-by-one.
Ed Allen doing some good things too – just another high priced mid rookie to consider.
Dont support either team but this is quality game to watch,
Kieren Briggs is upright and talking but is heading to hospital for further assessment on his neck.
Who replaces him as ruck? Keeffe isn’t showing much this 2nd quarter as primary ruck. Gruzewski now 2nd ruck for the game
Madden get a call up?
Simon or Justin Madden. Both fine ruckmen, but surely too old now. TBF they’d probably still do a better job than Keefe
Jeeze Callaghan has me tempted. Going to need some extra cash now with the DEF Rookies all dying off one by one… May just pull the trigger.
Looks quite strong and I think with this display if he keeps it up they might just keep him in the midfield when Green is back.
Wait until Green is back before deciding
Naicos looking a little sore from a knock. Limping a bit but still on field
Daicos still looks sore. Didn’t get the sub which seems confusing.
Playing full forward now. Doesn’t have the run
With Briggs out, who rucks?
They play Gawn next week!!!!
Keeffe can’t hold his own. Absolutely slaughtered this match.
Madden is next in line.
Many might get fooled into Cameron’s score today. Tracking for 150+ against a 2nd ruck most of the day
Currently 4.2% of teams. Time to check next Thursday
Kingsley’s press conference suggested Keefe plays ruck next week. Gawn might score 3000 points!

Not seeing it for Cameron. 10 points in the first quarter. Not much info to go off, but raises doubts
I getcha, he averaged 105 last year, so I wouldn’t expect him to regress. Same or more

If you are considering Callaghan then would also be looking at W Ashcroft and H Reid. Good luck in separating them.
Cash Cows TOG and CBAs
Leake 54% (7 CBA)
Gruzewski 68% (6 CBA)
Stone 77%
Allan 82% (6 CBA)
Keeffe 74% (17 CBA) (12 HO from 65 contests)
Perryman 13 CBA
Briggs will miss round 1 due to concussion
Max Gawn vs Keeffe…. 200+ points incoming
Question rookies price generation starts this week yeh ,??
No. Price changes occur once a player has played 3 games.
