  1. Simpkin is a late out having injured a hamstring at Fridays training.
Phillips is in and Stephenson is the sub.
Brought in Simpkin this week and spewing big time.
At least I will still have 20 on field

    1. @ Shaggi – can you “change” the trade via the undo changes button ?

As I think it allows you to change the player you have brought in

Not sure who you would bring in – maybe Kreuger from the Pies as a downgrade

Or somehow get up to a cheap Rozee – even though he has a high break even

      1. Thanks for the suggestion but I am going to hold
This week and next week are fine for warm bodies.
        Then I will reassess.
Hopefully McKercher will be back next week which would help.

    1. It’s certainly a shit show at the moment. Painful to watch. Hopefully Fly can get them fired up at quarter time.

  2. My slow burn backman Pink doing his best to elevate his score into best 18 this week and he is a big chance with the way my team has decided to be just a team of spuds this week.

    1. Agree – not just one, two Collingwood players. Played on, but well after the mark was called. Didn’t hear much in the commentary, did we miss something?

      1. one of the commentators called it – it was just plain gutless BS umpiring to not pay it

  3. Results like today just destroys any trust in the impartiality of the AFL.
Two key decisions have cost North dearly.
The goal Collingwood were given when the ball was clearly touched of the boot but not overturned.
Secondly the decision to sub out Phillips at 3/4 time was as bad a decision as was to bring on Teddy Hopkins in the 1970 GF a good one.
    Phillips deserved better.
Clarko’s post match interview trying to justify that decision should be a pearler.
