Last time they met: Rd 2, 2020: Port Adelaide 17.8 (110) def Adelaide 5.5 (35) at Adelaide Oval.
Adelaide kicked the first two goals of the match and then… prison bars. Port absolutely dominated the Crows from then onwards, kicking 17 goals to 3 goals for the rest of the match with 9 different goal kickers. As usual for 2020, Crouch, Crouch and O’Brien were the few players to stand up for Adelaide.
Match Preview: This is surely a match for the South Aussie fans only. Although the Crows have improved from last season I can’t see this match being close. Port delight in flogging Adelaide and they will try their hardest to step on some necks tonight.
Thommo Watch:
For a strong team, Port aren’t very Supercoach relevant. Bergman, Boak and Houston are the most popular players at a stretch. Sadly Martin Frederick was not named for his 13000 owners (although I’m guessing he’s going to be the sub).

And for a weaker side, the Crows are very relevant with Tex, Laird, O’Brien, Butts, Rowe and Berry.

What do we do with Frederick?
Most of us didn’t trade him in when it was announced he was dropped.
If you went early, bench him and hope that if he comes it’s in the opening half.
Got a -88 BE.
I haven’t traded him in, worse case scenario is he gets subbed in the first five minutes and Tons up, wooshka there goes 80k!!
I absolutely hate Rowe with the fact he does absolutely nothing almost every week, then just doesn’t look to make any more cash and then halfway into the 1st quarter with 3 touches, 1 goal and on 30 odd SC points…………
I will be very upset if Rowe tons up tonight after ive dealt with his rubbish scores for the last month and now traded him out

Well after tooing and froing all yesterday on whether to trade Frederick in, I can honestly say that I’m glad I didn’t. I now have one less rookie with dubious JS that after yesterday’s score has had his Cash gen quashed. Probably dodged a bullet there.
