Game Chat – Port v Geelong

Where and when: Adelaide Oval at 7:40pm (AEST)

Last time they met: Finals W1, 2020: Port 9.4 (58) DEF Geelong 5.12 (42) at Adelaide Oval.

Last five: Port 3-2, Geelong 4-1

Match Preview: The Powermobile has been looking a little wobbly of late. They’ve done what they needed to against sides outside the Top 8 but when faced with stern challenges from teams like The Dogs and Lions, they’ve folded faster than Mottsy with a pair of jacks facing an all-in bet. Geelong hasn’t done much more although there was that 10 goal win over the reigning premiers a month ago. Both teams are coming off a bye so fresh legs won’t be a factor. Tough to pick but I’m going with the Cats – just think they’ll have too many options up front.

Mottsy Watch:

Port
Boak, Wines, Dixon.

Geelong
Selwood’s been terrific lately, Hawkins, Duncan, Stewart, and Cameron

Mottsy’s Tip: Geelong by 15 points (tipping record 26/35).

    • Good luck Wighty. Not surprise at your selection. According to SOW you have already been getting on the “wines” quite a lot 😉

  2. Hi, silly question maybe…but would love some help please!
If I put the emergency on Lachie Jones and put Ridley on field, will Jones’ score still count? I would just like to loop Murphy and Jones if possible.
    Thanks SCT community!

  3. Hawkins comes in for me.

    He joins Stewart and Jones.

Hoping for a sub 80 from Danger so he drops decent cash.

If Hawk could kick a few that would be ace 😉

  4. HALF TIME and after the Power were up by 21 points in the 2nd quarter, the Cats clawed back to be in front by 3 points at the main break. Todd Marshall subbed out with concussion & Boyd Woodcock is on the field.

    • I think @ under 520 he will be too hard to ignore
Not sure I’d pay more though
He’s definitely not the player he was @ the crows
Less mid time & more down time @ the cats
