I think it’s because Gibcus has a good tank and they’re worried about Darling (the fitness fanatic) getting up and down the ground… cause the Eagles aren’t stupid they naturally start him in the goal square.
Darling would run Tarrant into the ground.

28 shots each… eagles were strangely inaccurate. They are normally dead-eye dicks.
Short is just not playing in his favoured position for SC scoring.
You see players like Vlastuin and Broad do well, where if Short was at half back he would receive a lot from them for scoring.
