Game Chat – Richmond vs North Melbourne

Written by Thommo on August 7 2021

Where and When: MCG, Saturday 7th August at 4:35pm (AEST)

Last time they met: Rd 7, 2020: Richmond 11.11 (77) def North Melbourne 2.11 (23) at Metricon

Last 5 H2H: Richmond 3 – North 2

Thommo Watch:

Richmond: Short has been handy all year while Bolton has been hugely disappointing.

North Melbourne: We are all used to having Ziebell in our team by now but isn’t it amazing that he has been such a consistent scoring forward all season? Hall and Simpkin are also handy late-season selections for SC finals.

Match Preview: We can all agree these two teams are out of finals contention. The Roos are trying to showcase the talent of their young list while the Tigers have run into the wall that awaits all uber-successful teams at the end of their reign.

So who has more to play for?

The Roos, trying to avoid a wooden spoon, or the Tigers attempting to sneak into one more finals series?

Thommo’s Tip:  North by 6 points. (Tipping record: 32.5/58)

  1. Late change

Kamdyn McIntosh has been replaced by Thomson Dow.

    Medical Subs:
    Richmond : Jason Castagna
    North Melbourne : Will Phillips

  2. Why Bolton are so so SHITE!
Why didn’t I go with my gut feeling and put Briggs on the field instead of you!
I’m quite sure your mediocracy today is going to cost me a win in one of my leagues.
To be added to my NEVER AGAIN list.
