Game Chat – Sydney v Adelaide

Written by Thommo on August 1 2015

After the events of the last week, surely Sydney will be thankful to simply play some footy.

In the past fortnight, the Swans have appeared a shadow of the team that dominated the regular season in 2014 but they are a proud club and should bounce back strongly this week. The return of important players Buddy, Tippett and McGlynn will make a massive difference to the squad that lacked fire in the west last week.

However, don’t expect Adelaide to go down quietly. Historically the Crows like the SCG, they love winning the contested ball count and have a forward line that can trouble any team defence so they may go close today. Talia’s inclusion will help quell the influence of the tall Sydney forward line.

Congratulations to Captain Tex Walker on game 100.

Thommo’s tip: Sydney by 20 points.

  4. Thanks for the updates NoiDeez!
Wish I had the vc on Jelwood instead of Danger. Trust Goldy will put out another big one.
Hopefully the Swans will rest Buddy and let Titch have a full game.
