Game Chat – Sydney v Brisbane

Written by Father Dougal on September 13 2020

Where and when: Sun 13/9 6:10 pm,
Cazaly’s Stadium

What it means for the Swans: Nothing but a chance to mess up their draft pick.

What it means for the Lions: IA win makes a big difference in thier getting into the top 2. They will want it.

Supercoach Watch:

Sydney: Lloyd and Parker. Naismith and Heeny, anyone paying attention this week. Jolting Jackson Thurlow of course. Oh, and  JPK

Lions: Do I have to list them all AGAIN!

Father Dougal’s Watch: Neale for me, as my captain of Macrae fails. Many, many people will have a VC or C on him

Father Dougal’s Tip:  The Lions are huge favorites for a reason. A win is not  sure thing  but I’m going with them by 30.

  1. For M8:

    T/U – Take Buckley’s 90
T/D – Keep Parker on to beat 90

Think my Prelim match is just about sewn up also, points wise.

  2. Hope the shop restrictions are eased before the finals.
Then the young’ens can get their hair cuts finished, so they stop playing with it when they think or know they’re on camera………

  3. Anyone going to join me in starting Lyons next year. Season average of 114.5, only 3 scores under 100 with a high ceiling

    1. I can probably say that was my best trade all season. Round 6 Rowell to Lyons really paid off.
Many others I could say otherwise…..

    2. Goes missing though, that’s my only problem.

Eg. scored 4 points in that final quarter just then.

Great pick to those who’ve got him, but I wouldn’t start him ahead of Neale, Macrae, Cripps, etc. next year.

  4. Hey Macca, tell the Missus to show some accounting optimism.
You only need Grundy to get about 130 more than Rankine.

I’ve Capt him as a risk investment with expectations of a Gawny ……LOL

  5. Brought in Neale- fml presume he got tagged today or is he injured? And he might get heavily tagged again next week by Curnow. Should I trade him For Lyons next week?
