Where and when: Optus Stadium, 8:10pm (AEST)
Last time they met: R20 2019, GWS 12.11 (83) DEF Sydney 12.9 (81)
What it means for GWS: The Giants need a win to stay in touch with the Top 4.
What it means for Sydney: 2020 has been a disaster for The Swans with only 3 wins in 10 games. They’d love a win over their crosstown rivals to restore some respectability.
Mottsy’s Tip: GWS by 20.

TU – Wicks
TD – Bytel
No late changes
No Late Changes to either team. #AFLSwansGiants
Need a VC tonight
TU: Lloyd
TD: Whitfield
Why tonight?
probably no available loopholes after tomorrow nights game, being someone like Close.
My only non playing player that I know of at this stage is Comben & he plays tomorrow arvo, so its either a VC tonight or someone from Geel/Pt (only option there is Stewart). No point having a VC like Neale go HUGE Sat arvo and then not have a non playing player after that match to be able to throw the captain hat onto.
Noted, thanks.
Pickett or Budarick —> Wicks??
Pickett BE in the 90’s will lose cash. But if he scores half decent will be an easy trade up to premo.
Budarick scores low but could be handy cover for the rest of the year if Wicks gets dropped
Who to bring in?
TU Bytel
TD O’Halloran
Be interesting to see how
Lloyd & Haynes
Go playing on Optus oval for the 1st time this year
Have no f*cking clue how this round is gonna play out, let alone what my trades will be. For now, I’ve gone Close -> Wicks.
So. For me it’s been Z.Williams all week.
I did some more digging and with my team..
I already have Whit and Jelly as “Injury Prone Giants” Do I really need another ?
I have gone another young Giant. I don’t wanna Jinx him so I will tell you all @1/2 time.
Oh, I’ve also gone both Wicks and X. O’H.
Popped X. O’H on the pitch, The Giants should win this one easily.
See you with my trade news @ the 1/2.
Guess if ya like 😉
Haynes
May need to play “Tall” with Phil out tonight ?
yeah he’s playing a lock down role it seems – something to watch out for those looking at him …
Lloyd and Whitfield starting on each other?
Ps I went Neale and Macrae coz don’t think Watson will play.
Tempted to go Whitfield for vc, but Grundy vs no melb ruck…
Geez Cameron could go big on this ground tonight
Took Lloyd 15 minutes to get on the board :O
I think GWS would have to be the nicest bunch of guys in the comp
Barring mummy
I can’t remember any of em ever being suspended for a hit
Toby?
Blow it out your kyber Dawson. A potato the whole year till i get rid of ya then you decide you can play football. Congrats to all who held.
Playing on a totally different ground now
A lot of players from these 2 teams will start scoring differently from now on

Whitfield would be on 30 points and not 13 if his name was Bontempelli
Uh, no.
He didn’t have an effective disposal in the first quarter lol, that’s why.
With Davis out and Williams firing, Haynes has been pushed into a more accountable lockdown role. Hmm.
FFS Lloyd… could us non-owners just get ONE week where you don’t go bananas!
WAKE UP GWS!
Taranto 🙁
I may be a curse this year.
Glad I didn’t get anyone else into my mess.
Congrats to Z Will traders etc.
X.O’H looks the goods.
Lets hope Jelly can lift as VC
I still the Giants can win this.
Think
Soz.
No edit. ;(
Hey Matt
As a non Lloyd owner I was on fire last week , coincidentally on his bye. To make things worse I own Haynes and Whitfield ; brought in Wicks ( line ball decision on with Bytel ) and traded Mills before before his bye.
Can’t complain though.
That’s the roller coaster of super coach

Anyone else looking at Tom MacDonald this week? $290,000 no luke Jackson, no gawn and just got 100.
Could be a good hail Mary
Tom McDonald is safe as houses to average 110 for the remainder of the year.
Also word on the street is that Nick Riewoldt is coming out of retirement. Heard here first.
33% DE? Thanks for that, Josh…
Had the doedee to Haynes trade locked in until 5 min before the bounce
Glad I hit the reverse trades right now
Who to bring in ?
I’ve got
Ryan , Ridley , Stewart , doc , hurn , doedee ,
rivers & z-thatcher
Sicily…Maynard
Witherden
Wicks a complete failure … bad choice …
Hopefully the Swans hang on and Horse doesn’t make changes to a winning side.
someone asked for a post or some analysis during the last round I think on how many rookies go big first game then poor the next game … good call that one. I must say, I never saw his first game, so is he in the same role, or been pushed high forward??
Only had 9 touches in his first game, but 6 tackles. 6 and 2 tonight, so I guess just playing the forward pressure roll.
I traded him in for Bennel, who I traded in for McInerney, so he’s taken my ‘mid-rookie who does SFA’ role.

Agree Macca. I thought he would not score as well as last game bet wow. Also thought his Js would be rock solid. No guarantees in afl or sc me thinks. Another burnt trade!!!!
Haynes 53 points from 4 kicks, 2 handballs and 1 mark. WTF?
He’s on 19 in RDT
Taranto has been disappointing. He needs a huge last quarter.
FFooty says Haynes has Will Hayward tagging him. Can anybody watching the game confirm that? Looks like a double whammy of a lockdown role + tagged is killing his SC output.
That is what the commentators mentioned on how he was almost acting like the forward to try and get some of the ball
nah, he’s not being tagged … but he’s playing a lock down role … not free to roam and take the intercept marks which is where he racks his points up … commentators comments are rubbish in that regards
Wicks may hold his spot in a winning team. Not much for him to do with the Swans blowing it out tbh.
Happy to see from this Williams still managed to make his tonne, making it 3 in a row and becoming a good POD
Thanks for your input re: Williams in Fallen Prems today Nato! Had almost talked myself out of picking him.
Good to see you went with Williams and not my other mention of Taranto as he didn’t show up like most of the GWS team!
FULL TIME – Swans lead all night & romped home by 41 points. Equal lowest ever score by the Giants and all 3 goals came from free kicks, 2 of them very suspect according to the Commentators.

Lloyd finishing the game with ice on his foot!!!!
hopefully just to cool it down çause he kicked it so much!! *wink*
Well they have a long break, so he has time to rest it and hopefully nothing arises from it.
yeh
he’s more of a kicker or hair puller though
