Wow! I’m on 2000 with touk and Rowell left and I thought I was flying!
Touk as Captain for me., and Dixon on the bench. I ended up passing on Rowell, The pain of last year is still raw. He could certainly hurt me tonight, I just couldn’t fit him in my structure.
Hard for me to say this, but it would be great to see WC get up under all this adversary. Keeping a close eye on Hough, as I need an Owens replacement.

Right idea wrong execution with my Def as had 4 primos average about 70 each
Was tossing up between Whitfield/Hewett or Mcinnerny + Dale (bulldogs) look to have chosen very poorly

Rowell looks like a man possessed out there in the first five minutes, bashing his way to the bottom of every pack.
Witts looking awesome too. Even though he’s not in my team I want to see the best from the big fella and I’m sure he’ll do much better with Rowell and Miller back in the guts together.
I was thinking of trading him to get Hayes score. Phew !!
64 at half time means he might just beat Hayes.

I’ll take my Grundy/Marshall/Hayes lineup but Witts looked good from what we saw in preseason so you’ve backed a good one.

2112 so far with just Rowell to go in this one. Pretty happy apart from going Martin to Baldwin mid week and not going back. Tipped the Suns for some reason, but the Eagles looking better than expected given the injury list..

Fair play, I had no loop so had to take Steele as C and Martin would’ve been benched still anyhow. Just always hope to reduce corrective rookie trades as much as possible. Does anyone ever manage tho??
Geez Gold Coast have a load of talent but they have some very ‘dumb’ footballers. I have just seen so many poor decisions from them so far this game.
On another note great first half for my Captain Miller and his running mate Rowell. Just so happy to see Rowell back out there running freely after the last couple years

Only a narrow load for us into HT. Need to contain the ease with which they’re (namely Miller and Rowell!) moving the ball.
Yeah spot on GD, that coast to coast goal would have been a hard watch from your perspective. GC getting plenty of the pill through the wings and middle but just blowing some chances. If Eagles can keep their pressure game up in second half they are still in with a shot.
Always hard to watch your team but barrack for your SC captain on the other team. Lol
By the way I am absolutely blown away by Miller’s work rate. He just gets to so many contests
If I could only budget for one of him or Steele it was always gonna be him.
The potential SC upside with a better ruck, and with less heat due to Rowell back and fit was clear.
The late game times for captain loophole were just a bonus.

How exciting is this end to a great first week of SC footy. Got my C on Touk, Witts R 2, wishing I had Rowell with a mid bench from trying to be cute of Brodie, Daicos and Rachelle.
When is the first price rise? After round 2 or 3?

Plenty of time to reshuffle, obviously some rookies look like a must get but if your rookie underscored a little dont be too stressed.

Was able to get Hayes and Martin on field, that’s helped a lot. Plus some big scores from my midfield today: Brayshaw, Miller & Rowell.
Yeah, It looks like I’m 2323. No Hayes on field. Carnage in the premo defenders. But all in all most of the rest did good.
Brave effort by eagles but suns were too good, exciting midfield though with Anderson touk and Rowell.
My decision to hold Witt’s and not chase Hayes pts has paid off
Been expecting a good outcome from him since the preseason. There’s still injury risk but he looks a good option at this point.
We’re set for a year on the decline, so losses like this are going to happen, but more than happy to go down to a resilient, talented Suns side with a potent engine room – which looked massively strengthened with an actual ruck.
Genuinely hope they have an ascendant year.
Miller C and Rowell also made it digestible lol.
strewth … just had a look in my leagues … there is some insane scores out there above 2300 and 2400 … and shout out to Nato currently on 2422 … insane!!
