I’m gonna roll the dice and keep Baker. Most he can lose is about 25k which is a pain in the butt. But I don’t really trust any of this weeks alternatives/options that I can use – Keays, Fyfe, Maric, Sinn.

Agree.. Couldn’t have played any worse and still scrapes a 90 an was horrible that final term and somehow just kept accruing points.. handball happy, a couple frees against, half as many HOs to his opponent and scores 90. That goal may have netted him 15 pts though as it was when the game was on the line.

Played and enjoyed SC for long time. No more. Can not tolerate the blatant cheating by CD. Yes cheating. If you watched the game compare the pair. Butters 3 votes no doubt, 118SC Tingles 99SC, is that right?
You do realise Butters went at 55% DE which heavily reduced his score. Then had 8 disposals final term which 7 were handballs at 63% DE.
English kicked a goal and had a couple of good marks in the final term in a close game for scaling.
English’s score did seem too high though
Yes i do realise. If you think the difference between Butters and Tingles was 19 then we were watching 2 different games. Btw i own neither.
Question is, if they are cheating, why, and what do they gain ?
I just think there is a major problem in their scoring matrix.

Human bias for sure but not deliberate cheating. A friend of my son has a job scoring games for CD. He says there are a lot of young blokes involved and out of excitement they get a bit trigger happy when entering a stat for their favourite/high profile players. If there is a clear mistake then a supervisor steps in to correct. Obviously there should be little argument about hard stats like scores, marks etc but there is human subjectivity in things like contested, disposal efficiency, HTA’s etc. That is where human bias creeps in… the rest, especially scaling, is based on algorithms so rules should apply consistently… however also designed by humans so imperfect.
Reckon tingles score is the one that requires CD to be called to account. He got 71 in second half. Sure he kicked a goal, but he got flogged in the ruck.
English had 9 HTAs last night according to the AFL Stats. They would have been after the first term since he did nothing until then.
His average is 9 per game. Probably a strong reason for the boosted score
