He works as my m9/F7 loophole but with Oliver out he has to be fielded. I benched him only because I saw Culley named and his last rounds score of 49.
Having Culley play his first game and no clue what he has scored still might end up being better than Gresham if this continues

A mate talked me out of Bont as he was adamant he’d play more forward with Bailey Smith back, and especially with Naughton out.

The concussions concern me a little. Not just from a SC perspective, but generally with his footy.
English did seem very undecided on quite a few occasions tonight – hence his disposal was poor at times (with 5 clangers).
But also thought he was very close to taking quite a few more marks throughout the night, his team mates missed him being open a few times (somehow!!), he played against a couple of pretty good rucks, and IMO he was also probably a bit unfairly scored a few times.
That score obviously hurts his owners, and even though I don’t own him, think he is not that far from some good scores.

It’s actually a crappy game of footy now so hard to keep watching but every time I watch some of it Bont is doing something spectacular.

They did say Calf- and when it’s an older player can take a long time to come right. Might mean Marshall becomes only ruck for rest of the year maybe. Hmmmm

It gets me how many ‘good’ forwards there are in the game right now who are unreliable in front of goal. IMO they can never be known as ‘greats’ unless they kick a good percentage of their shots…..
Traded Tingles to Bont the other week and then grabbed Gawn over him last week.
Didn’t like his concussion profile or ruck run home…DAMN it feels nice to have a move come together.
Dale also great tonight despite Treloar, Richards and Hannan mega-seagulling. Who’d have thought I’d want Daniel back lol.

Gresham recovered somewhat after his 6 point 1st term, but English not breaking 60 really hurts. It sort of takes a bit of the light off Bonts score
