Overall pretty happy with the week, backed in the safe 135 with Macrae over Gawn but not too upset. Sucks ridley is injured as hes been my D2 since round 1, am hoping its either back next week or 1 week miss. Neale and Kozzie rewarded me for my faith but I think my phillips experiment is over now, it is just so tricky to find a good forward I trust!

Ridley was ruled out with concussion so it is a mandatory 12 days.
Bugger, Ill take him only missing 1 week as hes gonna be a top defender. I hope everyone enjoy getting him on the cheap. Im eyeing up C Daniel in a couple weeks on the same type of deal. Surely no one is trading him!

Great week for myself. Spent the whole week trying to bring in Ridley for Daniel, but held off due to the weekly pole and gee that turned out to be a masterful stroke of luck. Gg to everyone I came up against this week.

Cheers! I haven’t set the world on fire to start but the team’s finally starting to click. Ranked 18k before the round, so hoping to go up a fair bit. Final score after this round was actually 2379, Zieball must have fought over the scraps.
For sure youre coming up the ranks! Great time to start building some momentum in your squad.

2180 gawn captain. Traded Ridley in for clarke and Daniher out for waterman. Also had a donut, considering not having Daniel play, danihers 120 and Ridley not getting injured I think I’ve done well

Turned out to be a Super Sunday! …instead of the usual Stupid Sunday.
Ziebell, Stewart & Big Max really came to the party and even all the rookies were solid. Taking the safe 146 from my VC nearly came back to haunt me in my main league but Stewart’s huge score saved my bacon

Hoping for a big boost up the rankings and very happy to have missed most the carnage this round.

Finally my team has produced a decent score! I had to make a trade in the defence to avoid a doughnut, so Jones was brought in. 2 of my PODs made some lovely tonnes in Smith and Hind, however Zac Bailey is really looking to go! Thought he’d improve with more CBA but just hasn’t occurred. Campbell is in a tough decision after losing a bit of money as a rookie. I now question whether he will gain it back.
Would now love to keep these scores up and really lift me up after my slow start

Doubt there’ll be any 2600+ scores. Maybe close to 2500. You need to be near full Premo team to get those high scores.
Disagree. Teams holding Dunkley, Macrae, Bont, Grundy, Gawn…with a decent C pick. 2600 on the cards.
Plus the mid price crew scoring well….Daniher, Ziebell, Walsh.
Well, I have seen a mid 2400 in one of my leagues from someone who doesn’t even have Gawn!

Going to lose some ranking after this week currently 1087th overall.
Did my trades early as I wasn’t sure could get reception over the weekend. Traded out kosi for Waterman with some DPP shifting. Coppped a donut for it!
If I had realised it was monsoon rains no way I would of started Waterman over Rowe.

Lucky to get that score. Don’t have Impey, don’t have CJ don’t have Tex.
Will have to pull some magic strings to avoid another donut in defence next week. Might be time to offload Clark?

Had to field a donut in Clark which definitely hurt. Had Berry over Jordon and Treacy over Scott which were some unfortunate decisions in the rookie roulette. Other than that some underperformers in Short/Bowes were unlucky but a solid week overall. Definitely could’ve been better but the team is in a good spot.

Entered a $50 SuperCoach league
Round 3 matchup: 7 points loss, Brockman on field over Rowe, would’ve won me the game
Round 4 matchup: 34 point loss, Daniels 19 and Williams was out after I’d done trades so had extra rookie on field
Round 5 matchup: 40 point loss, Houston injury and Clark out after trades done
So I’m ranked about 6th in the league pointwise but lost every game and sitting at the bottom

Ridley’s 31 hurt. Walsh, Stewart, Ziebell are guns.
Meanwhile, Rowe over Waterman and Jordon over Berry were 50/50s that went my way.

Guns and rookies structure starting to click. The three Big Dogs, G&G, Zerrett and finally Neale all popped off. Then Butts, Rowe, Jones and Powell balanced out Warner, Campbell, Berry and Chapman. Short and Dusty under par but solid long term. Still being punished for not being able to start Ziebell, gotta figure something out there.
Managed to put away Chillo, Joestars and Zac in our respective leagues, but got taken for a spin by LG’s huge 2379 in Gun’s Regulars #2.
Will look for my first upgrade this week. Thinking Steele or Petracca, can pick Riddles up later.

Well that was stressful.

✖️ Ridley’s injury, Titch, 70-90 scores from half my premiums, squinting at a VFL match on Kayo trying to see if Clark was on field at 11pm on Saturday in New York.

Ugh. Another week, another mediocre total. Not horrible, but just a tad off the pace, as has been the case for a few weeks now. I’m still reasonably confident I can turn things around, but I’ll need to get a move on.

You can’t help bad luck with injuries but their was some bad one’s this weekend.
I feel your pain as I also have Ridley and Cerra.
As I posted in the coaches box we might have some good news regarding Cerra’s injury. Scans tomorrow for confirmation but coach said “It looks like he’s got a pretty low-grade ankle sprain”

Cheers CT, there’s no better feeling than having a massive punt pay off, unfortunately a disaster on Sunday always seems to happen when you’re travelling well till then, but we live to fight another day, was holding Ridley and trading Cerra but I might hold both on that news.

Doing a double downgrade this week so building the bank to go shopping over round 7,8,9.

took MaC’s VC score over Gawn and score included injured Ridley as well, still pretty happy…likely use bench cover for Ridley this week instead of a trade – may yet need to replace J.Clark from the Cats tho…

Dude: Myself for swinging the trade to swap Daniel for Ridley, Crisp, Orazio, Steele, Zorko, Chapman, Berry, Warner, Gulden.
Pretty good week all things considered, Brayshaw and McGrath finally delivered me a triple digit score. I’ll need to cull one of Orazio or Clark to get Jones (port) in for a spare 160K but it’s not quite enough to upgrade anyone else.

Not bad considering I fielded a donut. May/Daniel/Clark was too much of a burden to bear for my squad.

Berry or Jordan is a raffle each week for M8 & this week I chose Berry.
