Low par week but a Dusty donut and ass scores from Laird, Chapman, Rowe, Petracca and Gawn did me in. Dropped 1700~ spots. Will look to bring in a FWD premo this week and press the attack.
Shout to bAps though, who has been killing it this season and carrying Gun’s Regulars #1. Put up a 2200+ this week and shot up to 23 OA!

Absolutely thrilled with this score as I had a doughnut in my team as well, with Williams out and then Jones, Highmore on the bench.
Chapman and Rowe were horror scorers for the team with 28 and 36. Had Harrison Jones on the bench and that would have been a great cover for Rowe. It now appears those rookies will make way from the squad.
Bringing in May a week early paid off with his 145 and that actually increased his price tag by 1k!
Considering I was ranked 40k a couple of weeks ago, but rocketing up in the last few rounds has been delightful! Time to keep it up but what will a 22 team do for me?

Traded in Bolton and Zorko this week, captained Grundy and moved up to rank 23 overall! Still have 23 trades left too, so pretty chuffed at the moment.

Absolutely amazed that I moved up that many spots.
Very happy considering the below par efforts of Gawn, Laird, Ridley and CJ.
Saved by rookies Jordon, Powell and Tom Green plus my 9 other 100 plus scorers led by captain Grundy.
Won 7 of 10 leagues and moved up 28 spots in SCT group. Hopefully my season is back on track now.

Pretty stoked at 33rd overall for the week. Brought in Lloyd and Zorko this week for Dunkley and Gulden. A bit worried about cash generation for the coming weeks, and my forward line is sus, but have a few trades up my sleeve.

2040 Grundy/9523. Come from 80k after a poor round 1. The problem I have is similar to other people; with so many non playing rookies on the bench, how do I make $$$ to upgrade. If we keep trading rookies, there will be not enough trades to complete the team with premium players. This is quite a different year. I can see very different final teams rather than finding unique players.

Not too bad despite a bit of on field carnage.

Happy with the inclusions this week of Macrae & Walsh (for Dunkley & Neale).
Happy I kept the VC on Grundy and with so many rookies not playing (6 on bench plus Dusty ) was glad to get through without a donut, although Chapman’s 28 & Rowe’s 36 hurt.
With Chapman, Gulden, Berry & Rowe now all with high BE’s, decision to be made on who needs to go first, and which upgrade/downgrade targets to make, whilst worrying about the trade situation.
A few weeks without any injuries would be greatly appreciated SC Gods – 5 used so far on injured players – Danger, Rowell, H Young, Neale & Dunkley – and still holding L Jones who was my H Young replacement.

Climbing spots steadily and very happy with the look of my side at this point.
Will look to paint the fence and move on chapman and possibly gulden this round

Oh my lord what a round. Went into the round thinking I had covered my o’s, but then ended up with 2.
I had 7 outs from last week. Disaster. Then had Gawn captain….

Really surprised by the jump up with that score but ever so happy it keeps me in the hunt.
Only 4 over 110 (Reg, Taranto,Stewart and Short) and some dud scores from players who got me here (Tex, Jiath, Impey, Laird and Max) so can’t complain too much except it is SC and that’s what we do.

Small drop in the ranks but better than I expected after an awful week. Somehow managed 6/7 league wins including over Macca and GD think everyone got screwed this round.

-3 me for putting vc on macrae then not trusting Grundy with the c and getting cooked by Gawn, Phillips( how is he still in my team), new signing petracca, Chapman.
Got a lot of rookies that need to go similarly to many other scers so gotta figure out which ones first, think Chapman may force my hand

Thanks gd, I was 50/50 on Grundy and macrae but backed macrae which hurt obviously. I’ll be seeing you when we hopefully both make finals!

This weeks heroes Ellis, Darling and J,Jones (out of nowhere) made a car crash bearable as I some mugged two people in my league matches.
Lets not mention the duds and be thankful my new players were not immediately injured like the last 3 rounds.
1822/Grundy VC
Dropping like flies, 2 donuts this week which were unavoidable.
Somehow still ranked 27,111st despite 3 donut weeks in a row. I honestly feel like my rank should be double.
2062/Gawn – ranked 257, dropped 48 which was an awesome surprise.
VC on Bont and then went Gawn instead of my recruit Grundy plus dodgy showings from Tex, Jiath, Laird and Impey but I expect them all to tonne up next week!!

Each week, I take a safe VC score from Macrae or Grundy, only for Gawn to smash it out of the park. The one week I get greedy, he puts in this pitiful effort. F**k you Max.
In fact, the only two times I’ve had him as outright C, he’s put in a 93 & 63.
The only good thing to come out of this week was J Kelly’s return to form.
The sooner we can forget about this round the better.
Likewise been VC Macrae/Grundy, I brought in Gawn this week and made him captain.
I’m sorry for the misfortune.

Best score so far. Im soooo glad i took grundys points, thought about chancing Gawn for a second. No real disappointing scores other than gawn, Lairds 75 could of be bigger but other than those the rest did well. Taranto! Thats what im talking about kid!

Second lowest score of the year. Still managed to win all 10 of my leagues & move up in ranking.

Somehow rose about 100 in the rankings this week, and pretty happy to be in the position I am despite losing Dunkley and Neale last week, along with Dusty who I had just traded in! Macrae and Sidebottom came in for me and were a little disappointing but at least they got through unscathed! 23 trades left which I feel is a little on the high side compared to most, but cash gen looking like it could be a real issue for the rest of the season (as it may be for most).

You want mistakes? I got mistakes:
* Had VC on Grundy all week until Friday morning. Switched to Macrae, but forgot to also switch C from Max to Grundy
* Rowe on field instead of Bergman – another last-minute stroke of genius
* Passed on Bolton because I didn’t want to burn two trades on Friday night – brought in Sidey instead
So there’s 150-odd points down the drain. Next week HAS to be better. At least Caleb Daniel remembered how to play footy this week!

Danger,Rowell,Sloane,Neale,Dunkley…someone else I can’t remember… plus trying to correct most of my rookies…still got Cripps…Ridley,Boak and Martin out a game each…
