Welp. Rank will probably double. How often do you trade in and then captain your lowest scorer of the round.
Also traded him for Jackson which hurts even more.
Bont my saviour of the week and if I’d vcd would have been a decent score.
Decided to go with a risk and trade out Oliver for Laird. Currently it has shown promise, but the next few weeks will truly determine its reward.
3 matches were won this week which is disappointing. For my scoring, I had a lot of players firing with solid scores. Yet I had 8 score between 78-95 which really hurt the scoring, but then there were 3 horrid scores in Blakey, English and ROB with 56, 51 and 53. That absolutely killed a great score for the round
I can say I had Gresham on the bench which ended up being a good choice, with only switching him with English being any better.
I assume I won’t gain spots this week which will continue the rankings slide after the byes
A great score but what could have been with 8 scores in the 80-100 range and Keays and Witts dropping below that. Keeping Cripps over Merrett 3 weeks ago is hurting more and more each week.
The tech team smashed it this week while carrying Green and Jelly pumping in a 2597
2451/ Laird/ was 12k
Glad d. Rioli had a good 2nd half ( got to 78 after being on 2 at HT).
Playing for league only so kept my trade on Oliver and d Stephens 46 didn’t help.
Zerrit clutching upper thigh as he walked off is my main concern

Another solid round from FyfeIsLyf (despite the name), hoping to be close to the top 10. Team was very consistent, time to move cripps or short on next week so have a tough decision to make there!
Dropped 224 spots. Brought in Docherty, so I could cover Oliver with Crisp and then future loop. Similiar to other comments – need to move on Cripps and try and get Laird but with only 5 trades left, that will be hard.
Wish I had kept Daicos!!
Went into the weekend with Darcy viced into Merrett and then undid it all on Saturday morning in a fit of panic and that’s seen my rank rise. Bringing May in as D7 to cover for Hall worked well enough though and I’m hopeful I can be loopholing from here but will just have lots of hard decisions to work out who takes that d7 emergency spot.
Moving in the right direction again with my highest round ranking for the year (top 400). Looking at Culley to get cash for a final luxury upgrade (Cripps, English, Dunkley, and Cameron all in the firing line.
2287/Neale/21711/
Only 1 league win (sorry Wighty).
As is the case every year I seem to miss on a couple of must have players.
This year it is Oliver and Laird.
Trading out Kelly and Cameron
Trading in Himmelberg and Goldstein
Leaves me with 2 trades remaining.
At least the mighty Roos won on the weekend.
2431/Laird/6264
4 out of 5 league wins
Ranking up 500+ spots but seem to be incapable of getting that really big score.
Traded out Crisp and Green for English and Danger.
Nett loss of 29 points.
Early trading in of Goldy and Rozee paying dividends.
Stewart will come in next round probably for Cameron.
That will leave me with 4 trades including 2 boosts
Good week for me this week, most players stepped up. Got Pendles into D7/M9 to cover Oliver this week who provided nice cover. Will look to loop him with Short this week.
I was always going to struggle after the first game with no Bont or Sinclair.
I got the most out of my team though. Laird top scored as Captain. I also took Wehrs 77 and benched P Mac.
Let’s hope Oliver is back this week fit and firing.
2443/Miller/1410
Not having Laird is frustrating, along with 0 rucks over 100.
2502, rank not out yet but was sitting 14,000. Won by must win game by 18 points! Captain was laird. Hopefully go up ranks

2479/Petracca/was 3K
No idea if I’ll go up or down here. Won 8/10 leagues. Missed on Bont or Laird for VC but happy that Trac scored well.
Good match, I thought you would reel me in when Petracca was up and going.
Yeh mate well done. Getting rid of Daicos was a mistake for me! Also nice pick up with Goldy. Good luck for rest of season
2510/Zerrett/ rank not out
Last minute call of Zerrett over Touk paid off well. Will need to find a way to get Laird to keep pace with my league
2675/Laird

Gawn C. Enough said.
Maybe you should have taken brayshaws VC, GD 😉 haha kidding mate.
That is stiff! You would have thought gawn would’ve been a safe enough captaincy option… Hope it didn’t cost you too many leagues or OA.
Aha. Ty, Mav.
Saw you managed 2500 even with Brayshaw C. That’s superb. Great work!
Ridiculously, I’m thinking Brayshaw VC again this week lmao.
2498/Laird/Not worth mentioning
Witts and Butters the weak links, Culley a happy result as substitute for Oliver. No complaints really!

2514 / Brayshaw / 3081 after lockout
Brayshaw with the C, fail.
Benched Oliver played Daicos, tick.
Traded short too Sinclair, tick.
Travelling well enough for this time of year to do some damage in SC finals and push for a top 2k finish I hope.
Can anyone tell me the finals format of a 10 man league with top 6 playing finals…
Do the top 2 play off for a second chance and 3 v 6 and 4 v 5?
Or is it 1 v 6 , 2 v 5 and 3 v 4
Top 8 play off in the normal finals format.

2372/Laird/606 , down 161
Lipinski traded to Keays was costly and several spud scores made it a disappointing round.
Expecting to bounce back with a 2500+ next week – brought it Culley and will be looping him after that great first game.
I bought in Culley as well to cover Oliver, very happy.
2459/Laird/Round rank 7500
Went from 9600 to 8300 Overall.
2377/Miller/13k
Another so close to a decent score round.
7 scorers over 130 but not my C
English (51), Gawn (50), JKelly (62) & Cripps (84) let the team down.
2352/Macrae/ down 500 spots to 7219.
Lots of good scores but balanced out by having 7 scores under 90.
Haven’t traded for a couple of weeks but will have to trade to cover Jelly next week, probably go to Mills or Steele.
2,593 / Bontempelli / inside 2,200.
Moving in the right direction again with my highest round ranking for the year (top 400). Looking at Culley to get cash for a final luxury upgrade (Cripps, English, Dunkley, and Cameron all in the firing line.

Studs:

Pendles
Laird
Merrett
Neale
Macrae
Bont
Duds:
Cripps
Witts
Dunkley
Brodie
2381 / Laird / down 118 to 6486.
3/10 leagues . It’s not looking flash 🙁

i was hoping to sneak past you after scaling in SCT#1. really needed a win, but 4 pts short.
2482/Miller/1,163rd (up 237)
Neither my VC or C choice worked out.
Goldy and Merrett have been immense discount pick-ups. Jordan Dawon’s 4th quarter was depressing vs the old flame of Daicos.
