Think I avoided most of the carnage, great rookie scores from ginbey chandler baker helped my cause and nailed the skipper

Had a real poor start to the season 50k after round 1 but have managed to avoid most of the chaos of injuries luckily thus far. Hoping to climb into top 10k maybe this week.
No real standouts, have used 4 trades & a boost. Probably one or two more coming this week to further strengthen early with the extra trades on offer but will see how the week goes.
2,215/Darcy/was ranked around 60k
Hoping to move up the rankings this week after avoiding some of the carnage. Kept Macrae & Darcy and for this week it worked out. I was very close to using my boost on Darcy to DCam, but held and put the C on Darcy.

Very good week for me, no real poor scores other than Philipou and McKenna, but Moore and the captaincy on Oliver pulled through.
2155, lost my cash league by 10 to a guy who has Tom De koning and eseva ratugalea as his two rucks,. Still not sure how . ldu cost me , but mostly tim english vc ,( was so happy at the time) as Oliver went crazy, is what done it, Oscar Allen tried valiantly to keep me in it but Luke Ryan woke up,

Traded out Fyfe, Sean darcy and neale (needed cash) for Darcy Cameron, Ldu and daicos.
Benched cam mckenzie to get bakers 95, so had to field chesser when LDU was withdrawn..

Up until today’s games, I think Sheezel’s 120 was my highest score, so thanks to Captain Oliver for dragging up my result. Hit & miss with my trades this week – Doc for Daicos, Flanders for Ziebell were both wins, but pulling the pin on Sean Darcy after last week’s score and trading in D Cameron, like a lot of coaches, cost me heaps. Now hoping I have the cash for either English or Witts. If I’d fielded Davey or Long instead of Callaghan, would have won all my league match-ups. Thinking Callaghan also needs to go?

9/10 leagues. Had 100 points more in the tank, so not a bad round.
Callaghan is 100% getting the chop.
All my trade ins underperformed compared to their Round 1&2 results but I didn’t spud out on any of them, and they will all have solid cash gen which is a positive. Downside is that Ziebell/Daicos/Setterfield only scored 269 which left me missing out on Chandler and Buckley.
Dodged all the major injury issues this week too which is a plus. There’s gonna be some players facing carnage.

Down 532 places. Gov going down on 50 ruined my chances of holding or even pressing rank but Cole’s 79 was sensational and timely. Will absolutely take a rank of 2022.
Team is okay but what’s really been keeping me in good stead is my Cs:
Green 134, Laird 147, Satan 156. Choo choo.

Um what. I know it’s only 3 rounds in but how am I 6th in Australia and 1st in WA. I don’t care if I bomb for the rest of the season. This has to be beginners luck right…my team was so vanilla.

A very middling week.

Lot of my more unique let me down this week and didn’t nail the c which was different between an average score and a good week.
Dcam will have to go this week but have 0 cash so should be interesting

2094 last week so at least consistent!
Keeping Shrek and putting the C on him was the highlight of the round.
Benching Ginbey to take Wilmots 69 not an inspired move.
Got all the right rookies except Chandler, went for Noah Long instead, so still not a bad result.
Premos stinking it up – Doc, Bont, Romo, Cogs – all below par and add Callaghan who was putrid.
Missed all the injury carnage, was planning to bring in Cameron and LDU but decided to rookie correct instead.
May do one trade this week – Callaghan to someone.

Big Plusses to Shrek and Sheezel, as well as C Clarry. Laird , Dawson, Sic and Taranto all good and rooks Ginbey, McKenzie, Baker excellent but Cally stunk.

Average week no injuries to deal with.
Stars: Pretty much all the rookies and Witts being my highest scorer with 124.
Flops: Callaghan, Parish 34 disposals 82 points. Doc 39 disposals 87 points. Marshall, Gulden only 15 touches.

Heading in the right direction and have managed to avoid some carnage. Though, I definitely made some bad calls with my starting team that I’m a couple moves away from correcting with no Clarry being the biggest of them.

Might go Doc to Clarry via DPP and Finn to Long or one of the other rookies with a low BE that I missed. Don’t wanna trade Doc really but not having Clarry seems like a real problem.
Imo , this too sideways. Yep need Clarry however Doc close to bustin a move
I traded out Doc for Daicos this Round and don’t regret it. Luckily I started with Oliver. It’s never ideal to trade out premiums (unless injured) but I looked at it as Doc about to lose lots of $ and Daicos about to gain lots of $ . Same reasoning behind my S Darcy to D Cameron trade – cost me points and one league win but saved me lots of cash. But will need to do another trade as a result of Cameron’s injury unfortunately.

Been consistently around these scores first 3 rounds, spewing didn’t start with Ashcroft and prioritised getting Setters, Ziebs and Chandler in last week.
My biggest concern at the moment is Zach Merrett (and a little bit less, Lachie Neale) and whether to hold or trade in for a younger and sexier mode (LDU?!?).
Otherwise, 100 fold the best I’ve started a SC season in 8 years of playing. Many thanks to you folks here with the intel and conversations <3

Not real happy but not to disappointed at the same time.
Happy to have nailed Jelly with the C but missing chandler and losing DCam hurts after trading shrek to him. The rest of my team was fine couple blokes underwhelming but all highly owned.. BIG decision with docherty this week do you flick him or hold, if you flick it has to be this week with another BE of 166.
Doch to LDU is tempting and run a light DEF til ziebell and sheez can move down there.

Brought in LDU this week which was so great, Bradshaw really hurting my feelings at the moment, as well as govs hammy.
Callahan not looking like his cash gen is going to continue long.
Only 2 tons in the mids (touk, greene) with no one going big really limited my score this week
Gov and Cameron both straight outs, have to try my best not to rage trade several players on the boost

Traded LDU in 10 minutes before the Hawks/North match and slapped the C on him after Dunkley only just tonned. By the time the announcement was made by SEN that he was out it was too late to reverse and slap the second E on Mackenzie (took Baker for Hopper) so ended up having to E Hollands as well.
Oh, and I traded Ridley for Cox because I am a moron who chases points and burns trades for a living.

After a terrible week last week, Glad I kept Shrek and Ridley and not being tempted to trade in DCameron and Daicos in.
Hopefully Shrek scores highly consistently throughout the year.

Big jump of 13k spots this week which would have been bigger if I fielded Mackenzie not Callaghan (2299). Avoided all the carnage so far. Thanks to Bont for putting out a poor v score.
