Not a strong week for me. Decided to hold onto Cripps which had me playing Rachele or MacDonald to cover him.
Players in Grundy, Short, Rowell, Whitfield and Blakey all under 75 didn’t help.
Fwd line was quite strong though with 5 over 95 and Martin with his 76.

This week it is looking to be the goodbye to of Rowell as he just isn’t showing it. A rookie downgrade also likely to occur

  2. 2202/Neale into Macrae/ was 1964

What seemed pretty average during the weekend appears to be in the top half at the end with some really good 2300 and high 2200 out there.

Sicily snuck me over the 2200 mark, which always looks better. Macrae, Crisp, Hewitt, Oliver, Steele, Neale, Butters and a big shout out to O’Driscoll who got me over the line in the contribs league.

Spuds this week were Short (but Crows were great), Rowell, Grundy, Rachele and JHF. Might activate a couple of trades this week, just to change it up.

  3. 2213/Macrae/ 7 from 7 league wins.
    Pretty happy.
Great scores from Mr Stewart and even Mr Ward, got me over the line in a few leagues.
At least now my overall ranking will be trending in an upward way.

  4. 2175 / Macrae / waiting ~30K

Happy I traded out Rowell. Looking at maybe using a boost to get in an upgrade anyway. I might even try and get Sicily while he’s ~$500K.

    3/10 league wins.

If I’d played Ward over Mead I would of snuck in a couple more league wins.

Only Hinge and Stephens not playing on my bench so cash growth looking ok.

    1. Win against GD and an impressive Dockers victory, so not a bad Easter round for you FT.

I hope that you are well again now?

      1. Yeah not too bad CT.

I’m still a fair way off SC wise but things a looking up.

All these DPP changes and the Boost option have really given me a heap to think about this week.

  6. 2204/Macrae/was 21,885 and should move up

Left 100 points on the bench and my trades this week we’re pretty poor

Happy to see the DPPs coming thru and will help with more trades to make this week

Win 8/10 leagues which was better than 0/10 last week (thanks Cripple)

  7. 2200/Macrae/12,675 (up 1063)

5/10 league wins. Eleven players at 100+.
Bringing in Hewett and NOD paid off. Many underperformed led by Chapman, Short, Jackson and Rowell.
Still moving in the right direction though. On to next week.

  8. 2,311 / Macrae / 342 (up 506).

My best ever start to a season. It could’ve been a bit better, though – I left Hayes on the bench and I elected to save a trade and hold on to Cripps.
My only real screw up so far this year was missing out on Brodie (I instead have Berry).

Will trade out Rowell for Pruess this week by working some DPP magic.

happy with the start to the season. Will let the fruit ripen a little more on the bench before upgrades. Pruess next week to refresh the cash generation.

    1. Nice work, Iridium.

You slapped me up in Tragics #1. Happy to go down to a fellow Dale owner though!

      1. Thanks GD.

Dale has been consistent. Wait until he plays my beloved Dockers and gets 20 kick ins. Hopefully we meet again in August GD

Hall, Ridley and Rowell the culprits this week.

Got handily seen off by FT, BB and Iridium.

    1. Hi GD, I am your opponent next week in the contributers league.

Hoping for a closer competition than last year. May it be injury free. All the best.

2257 points this week and 9/10 wins. I lost the other by 1 point.

A bit of restructuring to do but will be patient with premiums Ridley , Ryan and Grundy for now who let me down this week and hopefully welcome back Cripps next week .
Rochelle on field instead of Hayes hurt and time to go Rowell , Berry and Gibcus

  12. 2240/Macrae/9446 (up a bit)

only 2/6 league wins, with Grundy and Short the main culprits.
Not sure if any changes are needed this week, time to mull.

  13. 2277 / Macrae / 5445 (+5043)

Held Butters and Bowey. Brought in NOD for Stephens and had him on field. 10/10 league wins and low scores were from highly owned players.

Trades this week will be interesting. Outside of Whitfield I’ve held my premiums coming off poor performances (Gawn, Crisp, Butters). With all the value in the ruck line, Grundy to Pruess might be a nice way to free up cash or maybe sideways Grundy to English (a little late or last chance?) and move a rookie to Pruess.

  14. 2202/macrae/6071

Rank steadied this week after some clutch scores late on in the weekend covered for some duds. Nailed my trades of hinge and Rowell out for Hewett and NOD as both tonned up.

+3s captain macrae delivered like always with the armband on, Gawn,Sicily, steele and butters as well as the previously mentioned carried me to 6/6 league wins.

-3s most duds were commonly owned but still hurt with Grundy, JHF, short and Dow underdelivered as well but he’s a fattening cow.

Only other negative of the weekend was having no forward loophole and missed out on rookie roulette by starting rachele over Hayes.

Overall another solid week and should be a pretty tricky week with trading as some cows look juicy to bring in but all mine aren’t fattened yet. I will have to wait for Fathers cow talk later this week before making a decision

  15. 2265/Macrae/5445

Not a bad week for me considering I held Cripps with Ward providing decent cover if I had my crystal ball out I would of use Hayes via DPP 😛

    Studs:
    Crisp
    Macrae
    Steele
    NOD
    English
    Butters
    Xerri

    Duds:
    Short
    Rowell
    Grundy

Rowell getting the boot this week!
