I finally had a decent round after struggling all season and boy, does it feel good! I scored 2,127, with Dawson repaying the faith for holding and some great scores from Houston, Daicos, Reid, Bont, Butters & Grundy.
1710/Brayshaw/was 1900ish but will be lucky to stay in the top 10k
Boosted to bring Rowan Marshall in over Sam Walsh with 1 trade and Marshall didn’t even make my best 18. Can’t even be mad about the captain score cause my other options of Green, Touk and Heeney didn’t ton either. Just glad I didn’t captain Stewart which I was considering. Team is actually in decent shape but all my premos just had down weeks at once so hopefully there’s a bounce back this week as I think I can afford a double upgrade
Posting because I need to shout from the rooftops that I won my first league games of the season, all 7/7 !!
Helped by previously down stars in Daws and Reg (and I’d say Harley but everyone still has him), and Butters. Will make some moves this week, not sure what, just know I gotta get a couple of rookies off the field for best 22.
1887/Ryan! / really bad…
Just haven’t got this year right from the get go… it’s not easy with a business etc and then all these extra bye rounds and the thinking that goes into the whole year. Plus a whole non existent round that only messes everything up! Sinclair being an example of a “premo” that I’ve brought in and then craps the bed, and gets it on the walls, the floor and even the damn ceiling!
Got no chance in league play, no chance of even an half decent ranking overall.
Thinking of targeting a bye round to have maximum premos playing in one round only and go for the round win. This would burn all my trades nearly by then. What does the community think of this plan??? TIA.
2073/Butters/ 221!!!!
This team is on fire! Up 571 spots this week!
Thought I was in for a shocking week with Steele and NWM with sub tonnes. Saturday was absolutely on fire other than Williams
The final game killed a monumental week with Powell, Massimo becoming my bottom scorers
Sorry GD for the two league wins over you by 3 points

Huge! That’ll bump your ranking nicely
2010, was hoping to push 2100 and crack the top 1k but not bad nonetheless
I was ranked 88,205 before this round, so I’ll happily take a bump!
Oh, I bet you’ll take a bump.

1937/ Heeney C/ 7 leagues won.
Was ranked 1344.
Will no doubt slip a little due to not nailing the captain.
Too many North players who are just scoring shit.
Thank goodness Fisher will be gone tonight.
Maybe McKercher too.
Managed to avoid the Sanders Carroll sub issues and also Williams injury so not too bad.
2050/Bont VC/ was 58k

Round rank 3522, and interestingly, my son beat me by just one (1) point and he was ranked 111 spots better.
Overall back to around 42k so hopefully can keep it moving north.

Ugh. Who loses to Nato in two leagues? I feel so ashamed. Take me back to the days of your ridiculous PODs. I can’t handle top tier Nato.
In all serious, great win and congrats on the rank. 221 OA. Wāw. Hats off, habib.
Leagues aside, a good week for me. Rocketed into the Top 10k. Nailed the Daicos VC and Xerri, Reid, Roberts and Rowell were fantastic.
1740/Ryan/8603rd (down 6968)
About the only thing I got right was having my captain score more than my VC
Nuff said
