Tom Doedee will miss this weekend due to concussion. “Tom reported some symptoms after the game on the weekend and we put him through a concussion test which he didn’t pass,” Crows High Performance Manager Darren Burgess said.

Kieran Strachan has also been placed in the AFL’s concussion protocols after being injured in the SANF. “Kieran was involved in a contest in the SANFL that resulted in him being concussed, he’s in the protocols now and unavailable this week, and we will monitor his progress through those protocols,” Burgess said.

Andrew McPherson is expected to be sidelined for up to three months after suffering a quad injury in the SANFL.

“Andrew strained his quad in the first quarter against Sturt, it’s a pretty serious one and he’s likely to be out for an indefinite period of time,” Burgess said.

MELBOURNE

Harrison Petty is set to miss four to six weeks with a foot injury.

“He got his toe jammed between another player and the ground, so he had scans yesterday and that did show a sprain of one of the ligaments in his mid-foot,”  club doctor Laura Lallenec said.

“He will remain in the boot this week and the good news is that nothing is ruptured, it’s more of a strain, so we just need to get some time for healing of that ligament.”

Christian Petracca was also sent for scans after rolling his ankle in the final term.

“The scans yesterday thankfully confirmed that he just tweaked that ankle area,” Lallenec said.

“He will need to get through training tomorrow and through the rest of the week to play, but we’re fairly hopeful at this stage that there shouldn’t be any issue with him playing this Friday.”

Luke Dunstan (Knee) 2-4 weeks

“He’s going really well, he’s started running and started to change directions, which is the next step in the rehab protocol,” Lallenec said.

“He’s likely to be two to four weeks away but he is on track at the moment.”

Will Verrall (Pelvis) 4-5 weeks

“He’s really turned a corner and we’re really happy with his progress,” Lallenec said.

“He’s back running, he did some intro agility today and is also starting to build up some speed word as well.”

Turner (groin) 4-5 weeks.

NORTH MELBOURNE

Luke Davies-Uniacke (hamstring) 3-5 weeks. “Luke’s pretty sore just walking at the minute and is in low-level strength at this point,” head of performance Kevin White

“We see a timeline of around 3-5 weeks (until a potential return).

“Jack is meeting with a surgeon today (Tuesday) to look at opinions on which surgery he’ll get, and we’ll have more information on his recovery process in the coming weeks.”

Cam Zurhaar (cheekbone)

“Cam had a bit of depression of one of the bones in his face and had a little surgical procedure (on Monday) just to pop that back up,” White said.

“At the minute it’ll be one week of non-contact for him and then he’ll return to play.”

Darcy Tucker (hamstring) “We’re thinking one week, but he’s presenting really well,””He’s a test, but a week off is likely for Darcy.”

Flynn Perez is unavailable for selection after he suffered a delayed concussion.

Josh Goater

“Scans revealed a moderate-grade MCL injury, but he’s actually going really well at the moment,” White said.

“He’s in a knee brace this week and will come out of that next week.”

  1. Will Setterfield – foot fracture

“Will reported some foot soreness coming out of the weekend’s match,” GM of Performance Daniel McPherson said.

“Upon further investigation, it’s been revealed he has a small fracture in his foot after being trodden on in game. At this stage, we’re unsure on the timeline, but it’ll be a short to medium term injury.”
