  1. I’ve gone down to Max Lynch which enabled getting in Crisp, Hewitt, Chapman & Brodie from previously Darcy, Xerri, O’Driscoll (who would’ve had to move) & Durdin.
Durdin looked like I might have missed a beat, he was impressive albeit probably high SC upside limited so hopefully Brodie can string a number of good games together but going high risk-high reward play.

Hoping in a scenario where Lynch really struggles, I can have a look at Preuss next week to see if he’d be worthwhile at the same cost but if both stink, it’s a long way home.

    1. As a Hawks man, highly doubt we play all 3 of Lynch / Reeves & Big Boy (who’s 100% locked)

Reeves & Lynch both have 0 forward craft.

As it stands I think Reeves is slightly ahead of Lynch as well. Though both tracking similarly.

Would play Hayes as an emergency, if he goes 60+ start Preuss…

  2. Currently have Lloyd and Sinn not playing.

Out there thought? With bank, and players have $788,800 was toying with the idea of downgrading Lloyd to Sic and upgrading Sinn to Milera, thus having a full playing D7,8 and Hinge at D6. Also leaves enough to upgrade to Stephens on the mid bench over Mead. What do you think?

TU. Do it, strengthens the backline and gives full bench cover.
TD Don’t be silly, replace Lloyd with Stewart, Ryan, Ridley types

    1. I don’t love Milera. Burnman written all over him. Much rather a look at Chapman for that price.

Saying that I’d run Hinge & Mccartin D5 / D6 with A Stewart / Ridley type as a Lloyd replacement.

  3. Darcy out is such a bummer but with English locked out Grundy was a no brainer.

I’m picking Aaron Hall to replace Lloyd. He might be underdone but seeing a potential 115 average sitting in 2% of teams is too much to pass up.

    1. I love the sneaky POD Hall pick as well. Just don’t know if I’ll have the balls to go him over Stewart.

Main concern isn’t injury, it’s LMac being back in defence, potentially stealing kick-ins too.

      1. Hey Abs

Is Stewart’s partner still expecting a baby ? I think this is why he missed the last game. I would be super careful he isn’t a late out. Theres a few Defenders playing later in Hall ,Rich, Dawson , Ryan. so I guess you have options .

        1. Yeah great shout FT, gonna be watching like a Hawk.

She’s due nearly any moment I believe. Will be switching to Ryan / Ridley or Hall if he’s a late out.

      2. Famous last words but LMac isn’t really a concern, he still played 11 games last year without impacting Hall in any way.

        1. Wasn’t taking any kick-ins from memory and was playing on a wing.

Role change during PS and listed on team sheets in defensive line. He only took 3/10 kick-ins during AAMI (Zieball with 6) – would just be good have seen Hall play a game with him.
Still like the pick though, who knows might go that way myself…

  4. Went with Crispy Corr but ended up with Crisp and Guthrie leaving me with
Ridley Crisp Whitfield Guthrie Hinge SDK Gibcus Nuff
Bit of a gamble with Guthrie , but one i’m willing to wager. Other options were Corr and Chapman.

  5. I’m 99% sure which one I’m going with, but curious on people’s thoughts:

TU: Stewart, Steele & D. Stephens
    TD: Ryan, Parish, J. Berry

  6. Have Lloyd not playing this week and I don’t know what to do
TU – Don’t trade him out
TD – Don’t be silly, replace Lloyd with Stewart, Ryan, Ridley types

    1. Top right on the page with your team you’ll see ‘SC Plus’ then a toggle for ‘on’ or ‘off’.

Should be a couple centimetres above your D7, Willy.

  7. I am holding onto Darcy atm. Just waiting to see how Hayes scores first.
I am led to believe that Darcy will probably be back next week so if Hayes can score say 60+ I won’t trade Darcy to someone else – probably would be NicNat although ROB is in my thoughts as well

    1. Hold Darcy if you have Hayes as Emergency. Hayes 127 score for Darcy this week. Not many people will be in the position to takes Hayes score as most combos would have Gawn / Grundy.

  8. Like many I had both. I’ve decided to use it as a chance for a little restructure that had been nagging me a little.

    Lloyd > Dawson
    Darcy > Witts
Frees up cash for Hayden > Sicily

I do think though if you can swing a Mottsy Manoeuvre and keep Lloyd that’s a potentially fantastic move to have Lloyd as a POD. Doing it with Darcy would be a concern cause we don’t know enough about his calf.
