    > Greaves and Merrett
    Leaves coleman, Riccardi, Rivers on field

    If 1 gets injured, 1 gets up. Trade one and wicks
    >Greaves and 550-580k mid (lots of options)
    Rivers and 1 of coleman/riccardi on field

    If both get up
    Could trade out two rookies for $420k player but theyre all shite so go with option 2 anyway

Hey all, posted this in this round’s trade talk forum, but have now realised i may be screwed next week when trying to upgrade to my final premo (F6) as my maxed cash cows are Rivers and Sholl which are both on my DEF, the bye round 2 weeks ago where i didn’t make any trades may have messed me, anyone have a way to find a solution.

    Hi all, preliminary final week lets go!!, Almost full premo
    Last rounds trades were Nic Nat, Close and Cameron > Gawn, Coleman and Conroy

    Thinking of downgrading Riccardi and Upgrading wicks, and bringing Hamish Brayshaw and bring in a Premo mid (E.g Boak, Lyons) (as i have $733,700 to spend) although this does mean I will field Coleman. But happy for other suggestions!!
    DEF: Lloyd, Stewart, Haynes, Ridley, Doc, Daniel (Rivers, Sholl)
    MID: Bont, Oliver, Neale, Merrett, Mitchell, JKelly, Cripps, Wicks (Foot, O’halloran, Robertson (lions))
    RUC: Gawn, Grundy (Conroy)
    FWD: Whitfield, Petracca, Dusty, A.Brayshaw (Freo), Bailey Smith, Riccardi (Coleman, Skinner)
    6 trades left, $325,000 in the bank.

The other thing to think about for those worried about Simpkin and Williams is if you can avoid any trades involving Saints and WC, then you can wait until about 6:30 tomorrow night before you do trades. That way you have all 3 Saturday games teams out for you to check prior to making your moves for the week

    1. So the site will still let you make your team trades after the round has started, as long as none of your trades involves a saints or weagles player? I didn’t know that. Can someone please verify this. (No offense Jamhed, just after clarity)

      2. None taken Snarfy, all good.

        Just be aware that once a trade is made during the round there is no reverse trade button to use. So make sure of what you want to do before hitting that confirm button!

  13. Do I burn my last two trades to get Steele in as my last premo or keep my powder dry and wait and see what happens eg if Simpkin plays etc.

  19. Dustin Martin vs Geelong and an improving Adelaide… if I assume he goes 90ish, and I think Acres can match or beat this… would this work?

    Dusty and Devon/Simpkin (depending on team lists) OUT
    Wingard/Acres and Neale IN

    This opens the door for Draper OUT, NicNat IN (after a nuff-out) for full premo (counting Wingard v Suns/Acres v Doggies) if I squeak through to the GF.

    T/U: Could be genius… try it.
    T/D: Nah, Dusty’ll get a big ‘un in.

  23. If there’s 2 non playing DEF with the E and one has been locked out already can the other still be used as a captain loophole??

    1. Hi Jimmy, In my understanding yes you can loophole. Since the first E will score DNP, it is not a score or lowest score therefore the next score will be taken as your on field score. I had this situation 2 years ago and it worked. Hope the rules haven’t changed since then. Just make sure they both don’t play ( Status DNP instead of score zero ie, the player starts the game and get injured in the 1st minute)

  25. Telly has given me a good conundrum….oppt doesn’t have him.

    Was originally going double trade, riccardi to rookie/goldy to gawn. But with uncertainty re doch and no cover, do I

    T/U Do the double trade…doch will play…one trade left for GF if I make it.
    T/D Wait and see on Doch but options will then be limited re trades.

    Comment. Trade a non playing def rookie to Greaves for cover which will still mean I can do the Gawn trade for GF.

    There is a $1200 first prize in my cash league !!

  26. Lads! Upgrading my final forward and had four options that i’d love opinions on. I can bring in Bazlenka, Dusty, Greenwood or Angus.

  30. Last forward upgrade with plenty of cash and 4 trades. Don’t have petracca but everyone else in my cash league does. Projected 2500 this week with riccardi sitting at d6 until I upgrade.

  33. Thankfully J Kelly and Simpkin are picked so my full team is premium with no injuries, meaning I can actually make a luxury trade to upgrade to Neale. My midfield who haven’t played yet is Macrae, Fyfe, Mitchell, J Kelly and Cripps.
    Right now I am leaning towards trading Cripps.

  35. Can someone assist me with who are the current taggers that are subduing premium players – when trading in my last MID upgrade, I’d prefer it if what wasn’t someone that could cop a tag this week or next. De Boer I know about – any others to be aware of?

  38. I’ve read Jack Martin is unlikely with a calf injury but then there was talk of Doc being in doubt also. Couldn’t see anything about Doc on Carlton’s injury list. Any Blues supporters know?

  40. Is anyone else finding that the Emergencies on the Gameday screen can’t be identified because all the bench players are shaded in the same?

    1. Actually just noticed that they are shaded differently. It’s just that the purple is so “washed out” on the Emergencies that it is similar to the greys on the laptop screen. Much clearer on the phone.

      1. Cerra is the only one of these “Defenders” going to Centre bounces and has a 3 round ave of 112.
        If he can clean up his DE a little, could go large v North.

        I got him in, and he hasn’t disappointed.

        After North, he has the Dogs in the GF.

    1. I actually don’t mind Viney.

      GWS then ESS for the Granny.

      No Brayshaw should insure he gets his fair share of Mid Minutes.

      Walters has the potential to go big v North but he will need 4+ goals

      Then he’s got a probably very desperate Dogs side in the Granny.

      I’m not liking our chances of kicking a big score in this one 🙁

      The other cheaper Mid I was looking at was Karl Amon from Port.
      He’s in my draft side and has been building nicely off a wing.

      $430K / BE 62 / 3 round ave of 97.7.

      Great Ceiling with a 139 in R9 and a 128 last week.

      Bombers this week before the Pies in the GF.

  48. More of a luxury trade as im still waiting to see if Doc is named. If he is should I still look at Zilliams to Daniels before tonights game? If Cogs was playing I would be pulling the trigger but with him out will Zillams get more mid time?

    Which will leave cover on all lines provided Riccardi plays next week.

    Means I can luxury trade Simpkin next week provided no injuries.

      Does it make a difference for this week if you get Greaves or not? Or is he purely for future cover.

      If he is just for future cover then I would hold off in case you have premiums dropped or injured next week, then you can just use a trade on getting another premo
