Round 2 is just around the corner… what has keep you up all week?
Thinking of playing things safe this early on. Have 2 donuts (3 if McNeil gets dropped), a correctional trade To J. Jordan due or hold til next week?
2 donuts on field or off?
If off, Hold.
If on, make the trade.
TU Danger & Rowell to Dusty & Walsh
TD. Danger & Rowell to Mitchell & Zac Williams
TU: Dunkley and Walsh
TD: Titch and Cerra/Taranto
TU – May
TD – Short
I’m thinking to hold Dangerfield…..
So am I… hate the thought of having to trade him back in BUT don’t want to fall too far behind the pack.
Me too but having that much money on your bench for 3 weeks puts you behind the pack I reckon. Would have been better if geelong played later and we could see how the rookies faired first.
Heeney (t/u) vs Cerra (t/d) as a substitute for Rowell.
The other big question is which of my rookies will be dropped this week so I actually have a loophole.
Hi,
Not really a coach question,
I’m trying to buy tickets for cat v Hawks. Next week, but I carnt seem to purchase them on ticketek, it lets me get so far,
Then won’t allow me to buy them??
I’m a bit old but not senile , am I missing something, I live up the bush so I try to buy them instead of getting from ground.
Any help would be appreciated
Again apologies for a non- SuperCoach question
You have to wait until next week for them to be released. If you’re a member you’ll get an email, otherwise check the ticketek website next Tuesday/Wednesday
Thks
That makes sense
TU: Cripps
TD: McGrath
Replacement for Rowell
Ta
Thinking of holding Dangerfield and Rowell for this round to wait and see how others perform and then make trades next week.
TU – good idea
TD – get the trades done now
If you were going to wait one round for Dangerfield (which I wouldn’t recommend, there’s only so many weeks to score points in!) then that becomes a hold for the last two weeks of the suspension, because I think most people would’ve held from the outset if he only copped two!
Trading rowell

Trading out Rowell.
T/U – Ridley + 90K

Who to field?
TU James Rowe
TD Joe Daniher
Thanks Coaches
Accidently traded the wrong player instead of Dangerfield after lockout.
I know you can not reverse changes, but have read over the years that if you do the same trade in reverse with your remaining trade, it will credit back your trades.
Eg: trade merrett to titch by mistake, 1/2 trades used for the round.
Trade titch back to merrett (prior to their game) to correct and still have two remaining.
Can someone please confirm if this works. I’m too scared to try lest I waste another trade.
No idea, but I’d love for you to try it and let us know how it goes 🙂
You can try emailing herald sun – sometimes they’re feeling generous
Look I never had the balls to try it but yes I believe it cancels the trade, so u will go back to 2 trades, give it a go and let the community know… good luck, but only if none of the players involved are locked out.
it works in NRL SC – as long as you have only use one trade and have one left and as long as both players haven’t played.
Pretty sure it counts as a trade both ways.
I stuffed up once years ago and it did. I’ve not tried it in 2021 and not planning to.
Reversing is the only way to avoid that, but once the round is started you can’t reverse.
Who to trade Rowell to?
TU – Butters + 40k
TD – Taranto + 60k
Please feel free to comment any other suggestions.
Heeney?
Buddy back should ouch him in to the guts a bit more too.
M SC, I personally am trying to fill my team with as many backs as I can. if you have Laird/Clark (both DPP) in the back line you could switch one into the mids then you could bring in May 507k, Doch 496k, H.Clark, 436, Moore 451k, etc. Early days obviously, but the backs are looking to be very consistent and easy to upgrade at byes for ubers, good luck.
Second go at this..
Rowell and Harmes for/
TU mills and scholl
TD mills and Morrison
The later in both being a POD?
Danger to
T/U dusty + 95K
T/D heeney +181K
I’ve VC’d Grundy (135) but don’t currently have a loophole player unless I don’t trade danger.
TU: trade danger to titch and just captain Gawn
TD: keep danger and captain him and play Warner on field
Who for M8?
TU:- Braeden Campbell
TD:- Tom Powell
If you are playing for league, is it silly to hold danger?
TU: Hold
TD: still trade
Hypothetically speaking, If the same player (117k projected 22) was the sub and he scored -5 every game for 3 weeks what would his value be.
Would we get a 20k bonus plus an extra player:)
TU: Andrew McGrath
TD: Bailey Smith (Bullies)
Thinking about trading brockman (haw) to jordon (melb)
Tu do it
Td no

TU: Ridely/Mills
TD: Young (Freo) and leave about $300k next week for corrective trades.
Danger to Mitchell DONE
Downie to Jordan for second trade?
Will Koschitzke play for the hawks tomorrow?
TU- Bailey Smith
TD- Taranto
Any smarts in thinking Daniher to Tex? 2 big scores, even if he levels out, would it be worth it based on short term cash generation?
I was thinking about it, so I was actually just running some numbers – while it’s not the worst idea, you’re going to be using two trades because he’s no chance to maintain anything close to this pace. Over his career, he’s mostly been a low to mid 80’s average, aside from 2012 when he averaged 100, and the last three years where he’s averaged mid-50’s to mid-60’s.
Also, unless he gets one more monster score (100+), his cash generation won’t be as high as you’d think (mostly due to his higher starting price). If he scores 80 for the next 3-4 rounds, he’ll make about 100k. If he scores 90, he’ll make about 120k , and 100’s get him up about 140k over that same period. That would be pretty close to what you’d need to get out of him to make it worth two trades, plus the risk that his scoring regresses to the mean and you’re out a trade and now have a spud on-field.
