  1. given one of hayes or preuss plays i have rowell, daicos or martin on the chopping block at the moment and need 2 mids and a forward to complete – so maybe english and a down grade to stephens?

  2. TU: Rowell –> T Mitchell (~$0 in the bank)
    TD: N Martin, Rowell –> Jeffrey & Laird/Parish (~$125k in the bank)

    1. Highly unlikely I would think.
Coaches usually go for a player with speed to run the legs off tiring opposition who have already been playing.
Personally I reckon will be Naish as the medical sub.

  3. Trades are pending Preuss/Hayes situation, but for a possible downgrade option

    T/U Cooper Stephens
    T/D Joel Jeffrey

    1. Seems pretty uncertain as it stands. I’d be inclined to believe post-bye, Whitfield is a straight replacement?

    2. Wehr is actually named on field not as interchange player, does that make any difference to JS ??????

      3

      1. Nah makes no difference, named back-pocket which is interesting. Whitfield just makes sense as a straight swap once he’s back next game.

Will definitely be looking at Wehr if he retains his spot post-bye.

  4. With the Preuss/Hayes situation im just going to do it and trade Preuss out

    Preuss, Gibcus > Witts, Wehr

      1. I can generate cash in mid but if i do Gibcus has a chance of losing money tonight but my second option is to sell Hobbs early and get in C.Stephens.

this is my team is my team below
        Def
        J.Sicily, T.Stewart,G.Hewett,J.Sinclair,J.LLyod,P.Mcccartin (S.Dekoning,J.Gibcus)

        1. Bloody hell! Pretty good backline. Maybe theres a spot in your forwards that needs attantion first.

          whats your trade situation?
          whats your bye planning?

SC101 says you dont bring in Wehr after 1 game, and especially when he has a bye next week, with a couple stars coming back the week after!

I know Gibcus loss of $$$ is a concern, but so too should be a possible waste of trade. While you’ve got 8 playing in the backline, coming into the byes, IMO your forward line is what needs a tinker (pending trade/bye situation)

          1. 17 trades left 66k in the bank, rd 13 only got 15 players playing in that bye so that is my focus too

for the forward line is a hard one dont know who to get

  5. K.Hayden (NTH) JS? Any other DEF rookies worth a look? Got no way to dpp unfortunately.

  6. Last week traded Steele and Ward > Laird and G.Clark
DEF: Sicily, Hewett, Crisp, Ridley, N.Daicos, McCartin (Gibcus, Sinn)
MID: Oliver, Neale, Laird, Macrae, Miller, Cripps, Brodie, JHF, (McComb, G.Clark, Hollands)
    RUC: Gawn, Preuss (S.Hayes)
FWD: Dunkley, Parker, Butters, Cogs, N.Martin, Durdin (M.Rioli, C.MacDonald)
$145,100 in the bank, 23 trades left, three trade boosts left
Stuck again. No idea what to do. Suggestions very much appreciated

    1. Hey JJ! One up, one down at an initial passover

Martin > Premo fwd that suits your bye structure or dpp brodie fwd and bring in another mid (I haven’t done the maths, but you might need to take Sinn out as well for Wehr or something along those lines)
Gibcus > 102k def (Akurei?) allows you to ruck swap to R3 down the track to capitalise on Hayes and/or Preuss

      2

  7. Already have: Dunkley, Parker, Brodie, Heeney, Cogs
Who to get out of D.Cameron or T.English?
    TU – Cameron
    TD – English

    3

    12
  8. DEF: Hewett, Crisp, Dawson, Short, McCartin, SDK (Gibcus, Daicos)
MID: Oliver, Neale, Macrae, Miller, Cripps, Brayshaw, Crouch, Green (D.Stephens, Rioli, Clark)
    RUC: Witts, Preuss (S. Hayes)
FWD: Dunkley, Parker, Brodie, Cameron, Butters, Cogs (Rosas, Curtis)

Am I silly for holding trades? Considering D Stephens -> C Stephens but not sure if it’s worth it. Gibcus and Hayes will most likely go next week to T Stewart and $102k RUC/FWD to swing with Cameron. 20 trades left. Cheers 🙂

    1. Nice team! If you have the $ I’d go Gibcus to T Stewart this week. Difficult as you don’t have many other rookies to cull.

  9. OUT
    Nic Martin and Gibcus

    IN
TU: Joel Jeffrey and Tom Stewart
TD: Rhylee West and Jack Sinclair

This will finish off my back line

  10. I’m starting to rethink my original trades due to milera and crouch being back and they could influence soligo score.
DEF:Sicily, Hewett, Crisp, Short, Ridley, Daicos(SDK,Khamis)
MID:Oliver, Neale, Laird, Macrae, Cripps, Brayshaw, B. Smith, Mccomb(Hamilton,Clark,Carroll)
    Ruck:Gawn, Preuss(Hayes)
FWD: Heeney, Taranto, Lipinski, Cogs, N.Martin, Mccartin (Macdonald, Rosas)

Was going to go Lipinski, daicos, N.Martin-Dunkley, Soligo, Sinclair
    TU? or TD?
Just worried about soligo job security and Preuss

  11. Given Preuss will miss the next two is it worth bring in Darcy Cameron. Other two rucks are Gawn and Hayes.

  12. Would love Bont, but will cook my byes so will have to wait until after R13.

    Second last mid upgrade

    TU – Walsh
    TD – Petracca

      1. Sunday teams are fully announced now and he is on the bench.

I might be wrong, but that means he is certain to play now?

  13. 19 trades left and I have Hewett, Crisp, Short, Sinclair and Ridley in the backline. Do I:

T/up – Trade Daicos to Dawson and keep Carroll as a captain loophole

T/down – Trade Carroll to Stephens and hopefully upgrade Daicos to Stewart next week (meaning I won’t have a loophole option)

    3

  14. Martin & Carroll to Sinclair and Stephens

Martin and Sinclair same bye and Carroll dropped

    Tu do it, completed backline
    Td hold trades for byes

  15. TU – Trade Preuss > T.English (play N.Martin)
    TD – Trade N.Martin > Heeney (play S.Hayes)

MID: Oliver, Neale, Laird, Macrae, Miller, Cripps, Brodie, JHF, (McComb, G.Clark, Hollands)
    RUC: Gawn, Preuss (S.Hayes)
FWD: Dunkley, Parker, Butters, Cogs, N.Martin, Durdin (M.Rioli, C.MacDonald)
$145,100 in the bank, 23 trades left, three trade boosts left

TU – Martin & Gibcus > English and Wehr
TD – Martin & Gibcus > Premo Mid & Wehr (Via Brodie DPP)

  17. TU or TD on these trades:
    SDK > Sinclair
    McCartin > Stephens
Trading out SDK and McCartin cos they have the round 13 bye and I’m stuffed that round. Keeping daicos as cover cos he has the better bye

  18. Nick Blakey late out. As an owner, trade or hold?

    T/U – Trade to a premo
T/D – Hold and field Sdk

  19. Def downgrades??

Aware Cleary is out, Wehr possibly low js, or go to 102k loop (cox, akuei, uwland)

  20. $48,200 ITB, 18 Trades Left (1 Boost)

    DEF: J. Sicily, J. Crisp, J. Short, J. Sinclair, N. Daicos, H. Chapman (P. Voss, S. De Koning)
    MID: L. Neale, C. Oliver, R. Laird, J. Macrae, T. Miller, P. Cripps, G. Hewett,, (J. Carroll, J. Ward, R. McComb)
    RUCK: J. Witts, B. Preuss (S. Hayes)
    FWD: J. Dunkley, L. Parker, W. Brodie, S. Coniglio, N. Martin, L. Parker (M. Rioli, J. McEntee)

Ahhh! Haven’t had time to look at my trades and running behind. Have 18 (12 “guns”) players for r12 bye. Do I have any obvious trades to make this week, honestly think I’m comfortable, maybe worth going a mid bench player to a rookie and N. Martin to English or another premo?? Thoughts?

    Cheers

  21. TU – Sinclair + Merrett
    TD – Doch + Titch

One this week one after their bye, so would be Sinclair vs Titch this week.

Targeting Laird post bye so one of the mids will be m8. Should have 10 trades left post byes, so i’m looking to upgrade of titch/merrett to maybe Steele when he’s back.

Thanks community, good luck this round!

  22. TU:
    Daicos, Martin > Oliver, Stephens

    TD:
Daicos, Martin & Preuss > Sinclair, Witts, Stephens
(Currently fielding Gawn & S.Hayes in ruck with Preuss out)

17 trades left, 2 boosts, 100k in bank

  23. Iv got enough cash to upgrade Martin this week with one trade to a Mid under $603k.

    Im thinking either:
    TU – Bont / $587k / 112.7 avg
    TD – Keays / $553k / 114 avg

I like the pod of Keays and his consistency, but Bont has the larger ceiling.

Or anyone else i MUST have?

  24. Hey everyone!

I’m mainly focused on Head-to-Head league.

TU: Martin, Bowey -> Stephens, Sinclair (finishes my DEF)
TD: Martin, Bowey -> Jeffrey, English (no fwd rookies on field, Coniglio and Butters worst fwds)

    Thanks!

  25. Currently copping a donut with Preuss. Hayes R2 and dixon R3.
Does he need to go or hold?
He’s dominating when he play is the problem so could see him being a keeper…

    TU: trade
    TD: hold

  26. Playing league. Need to pick up a defender. 2 spots left and only considering Sicily, Stewart and Dawson. The first 2 speak for themselves but really like the crows run home especially come finals time and thinking the extra cash will come in handy .
    TU- Sic/Stewart
    DT- Dawson
    Thoughts welcomed, thanks.

  27. Would appreciate some thoughts. Tossing up between trading in Hewett to complete my backline, or Walsh to complete my mids. Pros & cons :

TU : Trade in Walsh – Would mean trading in a rookie FWD (Butler / Jeffrey) and 3 onfield rookies would be either Daicos/SDK at D6, McCartin at F5 & either Rosas/Jeffrey at F6.

TD: Trade in Hewett – would mean trading in rookie MID (C Stephens) and 3 onfield rookies would be either Clark/McComb as M8, McCartin as F5 & SDK as F6. Worry is probably won’t be able to afford Walsh in R13. But could go another premium instead.

I could avoid trading in Jeffrey/Butler by moving N Long to my fwd line thus enabling me to trade in C Stephens instead, but would be stuck with Rioli’s 36 onfield if my VC went huge as Long my only non playing player.

Guess I’m just weighing up if I’m prepared to spend $609,200 on Walsh and having less cash available when I still need 3 more upgrades to finish my team.

  28. Would love some advice.

Carroll is my only loophole option to take Neale’s score. Wondering if I should wait and see if Carroll is named the med sub, and worst case put the C on Cripps, or just put the C on Macrae.

TU: Wait and see. Cripps isn’t a bad C option
    TD: Macrae with the C.

    Thanks!
