Trying to create a bit of a poll/thread about this since none was made for us.
I’ll start with Nic Newman at 543k on a 5 round average of 118.6.
Last 2 games were 137 and 144 against Collingwood and St Kilda.
In 1.1% of teams so could be a great POD in the final games if you feel he is worth a shot
Last 3 rounds are Dees, Suns, GWS
An alternative might be Young from Freo at 449.5k. Has moved from a defensive role into a mid role the last 2 weeks. Pushed out a nice 123 last week. It’s hard to know whether it’s a purely run with role or an attacking mid role. Might depend on the opposition. Has West coast this week with Port Adelaide and Hawthorn to come.
If it is a run with role, it’s hard to predict scoring. Sometimes we see some big scores, but other times quite a low floor. Sample size is too small for Young so far.
I did take Young ahead of Ryan earlier in the season and have been made to pay dearly for the choice. So maybe suggesting Young now has a tinge if hopefulness of redemption. But just putting him out there as an option
It is suggested he’d be moved down back this week due to Ethan Hughes out due to injury.
He is also listed at HB for the week.
They were looking likely to continue playing him in the midfield however

I would also consider Brayshaw or Serong against West Coast this week. Merrett is a better choice, but since I don’t own him, I am VC Brayshaw and C English.
If anyone is running with Briggs, then he might be an option against Port. No Lycett and now I hear Visentini is out. So maybe he is up against Finlayson?
Yeah looking at the AFL app Visentini named out for Hayes who comes in. Should be great for Briggs
