Did Pendles to Sinclair this round. He was always going to be a D7/M9 cover anyway but i was able to do it with one trade with the left over cash I had so will find a back up later if needed.

Thinking of getting in Port’s B Teakle but it’s not urgent. TU if he’s got good job sercurity…TD if it might only be a short term stay.
Do you need him to play long term though? If your team is nearly done then an R3 that isn’t playing can be almost more helpful as a guaranteed loop and him having dpp allows for English to cover the rucks as needed.
Current rank of 1400 and thinking of going all out and bringing in some big guns this week to get 21 on field.
Gawn/Brodie/Carroll to Witts/English/Clarke
Leaves R2 and F6 still to fill with 10 trades left. Would have the cash from SDK/Hobbs/Hayes/Jamieson to facilitate those upgrades.

Is laird really worth the extra 75k over Keays? Ben has only dropped under the 100 once and it was a 96.

I really like both but if you increase the cut off a bit to 115, Laird has dropped below that twice while Keays hasn’t reached it 8 times. Laird is the third highest averaging SuperCoach player and is a solid captain option every week so gives a bit more but if you don’t have the cash and want the slightly poddier choice, Keays is a great option anyway.

you make a good point about a Higher floor with laird just a 75k saving is handy could be the difference between a combo of laird cogs or keays English…

$61,800 in the bank, 17 trades left, three trade boosts left
Have no idea what to do, suggestions are very much appreciated.
Could start with Gawn to Witts, Hayes to Teakle, MacDonald to D’Ambrosio, G. Clark to a premium defender via N. Daicos. Dale and Cumming good options if you can’t afford Stewart.
Could then almost straight swap Daicos to Petracca in a week or two depending on price/breakeven.
To complete your team could try and bring in Darcy for Jeffrey (will probably need 2 downgrades) and swing English forward.
That will take 8-9 trades and 2 boosts but would give you full premium in about 3 weeks.

Either the position change for GWS is real with the new coach, or it’s just trading 2 high ceiling, low consistency guys for 2 of the same, and keep Daicos around. Number of trades not an issue and need to make some ground.

Nah he had an 84 week before last. 8/12 of his games have been sub 100 with 6 (half) of them sub 80. Unless someone from Freo wants to tell me he has turned a corner, I’m selling high on him before he goes back to that form.

Yeah I just took a whizz at your team and I get where you’re coming from with needing 5 trades to bring in the Bont.
I had Hawkins last year, and he was pretty consistent especially at the cattery. You might get away with him although I just think Bont presents himself as a must have when the forward line isn’t necessarily flush with options. 7 trades to work with is still pretty good and you’re only going to use them in instances where injuries occur. GL either way
Similar boat GD. Could use my last boost to bring in Bont this week for Rosas but will hold till next week as it will hopefully be $30k less and make it easier to go Daicos to Petracca the following week.
The extra money this time of year allows for better loophole players and luxury trades.
Is there a way to use a stepping stone player like himmelburg or another low break even non rookie to get you to Bont in fewer trades?

Should I be worried about Bont’s shoulder and high BE? Leaning more towards trading in Parker this week instead, then wait on Bont until I’m ready to pull the pin on Butters, or if I need to switch English to ruck to replace Preuss if he’s rested again.
