  12. Possible DPP changes after round 17. (35% is the cut off point.)

    LIKELY CHANGES:
    Sam Docherty DEF/MID
    Tim Kelly FWD/MID 43% FORWARD
Harry Himmelberg is sitting on 35% MID. Big chance for DEF-MID
    Hunter Clarke FWD-MID 38% FWD.
Mitch Duncan 39% MID. Chance for MID/DEF
Zac Fisher FWD-MID Needs to play next two games to reach threshold of number of games required.
    Ben Hobbs 35% MID.

    UNLIKELY
Will Ashcroft 31% FWD. Would need to play forward for whole game next 2 weeks.
Toby Greene 31% MID Mid minutes have dropped last two weeks making it very difficult.
Mitch McGovern Has played forward last 3 games but only on 23%.

    Won’t gain DPP:
Marcus Bontempelli (17% FWD time), Touk Miller (22% FWD) and Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (16% MID) will fall short of the 35%.
Lachie Whitfield (13% FWD), Tom Liberatore (8%DEF). Tom De Koning played 33% of game time forward against North Melbourne last round, but his season average is just 5%. Zach Merrett 11% defence and 26% forward

WILL NOT HAVE PLAYED ENOUGH GAMES TO QUALIFY.
Angus Clarke (42% MID), Zak Johnson (100% DEF), Jack Martin (83% MID) and Mani Liddy (42% FWD)

  13. Carlton training news:

Patrick Cripps missed today’s Captain’s Run in Adelaide due to illness. The Blues confident he’ll play.

Jacob Weitering still proppy but completed agility drills & did the full session. Looks good to go after his ankle injury.

No Matt Carroll or Jaxon Binns with the squad of 28

    • Highly annoying as Carroll finally strung 2 solid scores together to lower his BE. Is he a hold and see what happens with carlton or trade him rather than someone like Johnson (risk of being dropped with troops coming back) or Hall (sub risk)?

  15. Match Review Officer: Dante Visentini
Was ruled that Visentini’s actions were not unreasonable in the circumstances and did not constitute a reportable offence.

    Incident explained:
The incident involving Port Adelaide’s Dante Visentini and Carlton’s Adam Saad from the Second Quarter of Thursday night’s match was assessed by the Match Review Officer. Travis Boak has possession of the ball and as Boak handballs the ball in the direction of Visentini, Saad turns to follow the direction of the ball and into the path of Visentini. Visentini braces for contact, making high contact with Saad in the collision that ensues. It was the view of the MRO that Visentini’s actions were not unreasonable in the circumstances and did not constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
