The AFL gave Geelong an informal warning today after Max Holmes had stern words with on and off field umpires over the standard of officiating on Friday night.
The league reminded the Cats of their expectations re player behaviour. No sanction.

Set to be sidelined for at least the next 6 weeks.
Treloar is out of contract for 2026.

St Kilda: Mattaes Phillipou will miss at least a few weeks after re-aggravating a plantaris tendon injury in the warm-up on Saturday night. Scans yesterday cleared him of calf tendon/Achilles damage

Collingwood: Charlie West, $113,500 ruck/fwd
19-year-old key forward Charlie West is set to make his AFL debut this weekend following a string of strong performances at VFL level – which includes 25 goals from his 10 appearances!
Collingwood: Darcy Cameron is expected to sign a new contract with a substantial increase in his salary.
West Coast and Carlton have shown interest in securing Cameron. West Coast for leading ruck role and a return to his home state.
Carlton because of the De Koning situation.

Conor Stone is out of the remainder of the 2025 season, with the club revealing that scans confirmed an incomplete fracture in his navicular.
Lachie Whitfield has entered concussion protocols.
Whitfield could be available for selection for the WCE game on Friday, July 4., pending that he exits the concussion protocols.
Hawthorn: Dylan Moore ran laps away from the main group at training today but is expected to make the trip to Tasmania and line up against North Melbourne on Saturday.
Richmond: Campbell Gray: Knee, 2-4 weeks
“Campbell Gray started doing a little bit of running last week and a little bit of kick and move, so happy to put a timeline on him now,” Serpell said.
“We expect him to miss the next two to four games and be back playing a bit later this year, so really good news on Campbell Gray.”
Richmond: Kane McAuliffe: Quad, 3-4 weeks
“Sadly for Kane, he sustained a quad injury in training last week, and he was pulled from the game towards the end of the week,” Serpell said.
“We are expecting him to miss around three to four weeks now on that quad strain.”

Match Review Officer: Dante Visentini
Was ruled that Visentini’s actions were not unreasonable in the circumstances and did not constitute a reportable offence.
Incident explained:
The incident involving Port Adelaide’s Dante Visentini and Carlton’s Adam Saad from the Second Quarter of Thursday night’s match was assessed by the Match Review Officer. Travis Boak has possession of the ball and as Boak handballs the ball in the direction of Visentini, Saad turns to follow the direction of the ball and into the path of Visentini. Visentini braces for contact, making high contact with Saad in the collision that ensues. It was the view of the MRO that Visentini’s actions were not unreasonable in the circumstances and did not constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
