Nathan Murphy has been charged with misconduct by the MRO, offered a financial sanction of $1000.
Murphy in the second quarter pulled down Aaron Cadman’s shorts.
The incident, which happened just over the boundary line, saw Cadman retaliate with a push to Murphy, which resulted in a Collingwood free kick.
The 23-year-old has been hit with a $1500 fine as a result, with Murphy able to accept $1000 with an early plea.
SATURDAY
Tom Sparrow was charged with rough conduct on Will Day in the fourth quarter. Assessed as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact resulted in a one game suspension.
Aidan Corr was charged with striking Ollie Lord in first quarter. intentional conduct, low impact and high contact. One game suspension was the penalty.
Patrick Cripps can accept a $1000 fine for misconduct on Western Bulldogs Bailey Smith, reportedly for pulling his mullet.
Oscar McInerney received a $1000 fine for tripping Essendon’s Jye Caldwell.
Lloyd Meek can accept a $3000 fine for kneeing Melbourne skipper Max Gawn
Sam Butler received a $2000 fine for striking Michael Hibberd.
Cameron Zurhaar can accept a $2000 fine for rough conduct on former teammate Jason Horne-Francis.
Sydney’s Nick Blakey received a $2000 fine for striking Fremantle’s Josh Treacy, with the incident assessed as low impact, high contact and careless conduct.
FRIDAY
Tom Atkins has been handed a $1500 fine for careless contact with an umpire, a penalty he can have reduced to $1000 with an early plea.
Liam Duggan has avoided suspension for a rough conduct charge involving Suns player Alex Davies from the third quarter of Friday’s match at Optus Stadium.
The MRO viewed Duggan’s actions as careless conduct, low impact and high contact, resulting in a $3000 fine. Duggan is able to accept a $2000 penalty with an early plea, or can challenge the charge.
Mabior Chol has been charged with tripping Eagles Tim Kelly. The MRO have handed Chol a $1500 fine, which can be reduced to $1000 with an early plea.
