  1. I don’t get how kade Chandler gets two weeks and Ryan gets one. Aside from the obviously far more severe outcome, which I appreciate is a factor, the Ryan bump seemed far more careless and potentially even intentional. I also get it’s technically Ryan’s first offence but seeing that gave me flashbacks to earlier this season when he did pretty much the same thing, which made it feel gross that he would even think of going for the same maneuver again considering how dangerous it was. Meanwhile Chandlers looked like a genuine mistake, a good tackle that he probably over did as he tried to avoid giving away an in the back call, there’s a bit of a second action but I don’t think anyone can look at that and think he had any thought that he was being reckless or intention to be reckless. I get theyre restricted to the rules so it is what it is, but I’m not sure Ryan didn’t get away with something last time and to do it again and get only a one match ban for a hit that looked horrible and could have easily knocked bowey out, makes me feel like he’s really getting away with something now.

    1. They need like a probationary rule for careless contact. I don’t care if Ryan gets banned I just want to stop worrying if someone is about to break their neck or have a serious injury. If they think it’s careless they can give a probationary period for a certain amount of time with an additional penalty available, if he goes to the MRO again with a sufficiently similar action during that tine the benefit of the doubt for the previous action should be removed and the penalty should be compounded. Because it’s just sickening to watch those sorts of hits even if the player jumps up because you know at some point they won’t.
