  1. Any other year GD i would say yes to most of these but, with all the extra trades this year and the influx of cash generating rookies imo i think not and it may be just a little to much cash to be leaving on the bench.

    1. It’s super interesting Finn with the extra trades, but I do think Rona will bite at some stage and potentially cause us to have to trade.

Haven’t really had any premos hit by the protocols as of yet.

      Interesting watch….

  2. Thanks for getting this up GD, good amount of responses there too.

I think mids and defenders in this list are probably upgradable due to the solid amount of premiums on those lines but potentially I’m thinking that the forwards in Brodie, Butters and Coniglio are definitely potential keepers due to the unclear state of who the top forwards will be.

Martin is an interesting case, I plan on holding as long as possible. Would be magnificent cover at F6 and M9 if you could afford to not use his cash generation and hold until the end of the year.

    1. I like that Martin & Daicos would allow to me hold my premos, if they got Covid late in the year rather than trade them.

Think the extra trade required to move a lesser rookie is worth it for that reason alone!

      1. Yeah it’s a great call Abs, I hadn’t put Daicos in that basket but they both could be massively important cover if you could hold both.

Damn though, their cash generation makes me feel like Daffy Duck with $ signs rolling through my eyes…..

  3. Big question

Trade Brodie or Tralor to get Cripps. I have Macrae and Dunkley in my team already

    TU:Brodie
    TD: Tralor

  4. Great work GD- certainly throws a few questions up there.
On the other side of it- when Swans Lloyd hits his expected $470/$480 after this round, does he become a good pick up as backup?
Lots of upside down the track- be nice back up. Buy low sell high?

    1. The Swans aren’t relying on The ol’ Gull to play out of defence anymore. Playing direct football and Lloyd’s points are suffering as a result.

As it stands, with all the solid options down back. He may not even be a great D6…

  5. TU
OUT Rachele , Dixon plus 121k
    IN Parker , Clark

    TD
    OUT O ‘Driscoll , Rachele plus 121k
    IN Miller, McComb

Basically it is a decision between getting Touk or Parker

  6. A bit premature to make a call on several of these, but quite a few that will be cover at least through the byes, with luxury upgrade potential if you avoid injuries later in the year.

  7. Put Daicos and Martin as ‘no’ but they won’t be leaving my team until at least their byes. Martin will be handy as Rd 13 & 14 are my bad weeks and Daicos will be handy in that can hold right up to 14. Roles might allow them to become keepers but likely to go between weeks 13-15/16 for me.

    1. It is amazing how the Rookies a lot of people have including myself, Bowey, Daicos, O’Driscoll, JHF, J.Berry and Brodie all have the R14 bye.
