Poll: May vs Daniel

Written by The Salamander on May 6 2021

While both will no doubt be very popular upgrade targets this week, if you could only pick one, who would you take?

Who would you rather bring in this week?

  1. Think I’ll opt for Caleb purely because he’s more favourable to my Round 14 byes lineup.

  2. After Rd 4 last year May only had 2 scores under 90, ended the year averaging 94.5. This year he is averaging 103.2 without the 7 he scored when he got injured

      1. Sorry worded that wrong i had Daniel at the start and traded out Chapman and Gulden for May.

  3. Magnets Bevo throwing Caleb Daniel forward a few times over the past month plus Bailey Dale’s emergence as an option in defence/kick-ins worries me about Daniel’s ability to go big SCwise. I don’t think you can go wrong with either for around $400K though.

  4. Worth a ‘sideways’ trade from Zac Williams to either? I know injury news for him is positive but the 2 sudden DNPs have scorned me and he hasn’t seemed overly great on field so far, especially for a valuable SC defence role

  5. Already have Daniel.

My dilemma this week is May vs Brayshaw.

    Any wisdom please community?

  6. Considering bringing Daniel in based on cheap depth over the byes but he really hasn’t been inspiring.

Partly it’s the midfield dominance (which may now be less of a thing with Dunkley injured). Mostly it’s just the coaching.

I think I’ll be passing on both for Frederick and a saved trade.

My forward line needs the upgrades more.

    1. I think I’m with you HH. When I look at my team I feel like May and Daniel would be of help now but might mean I miss out on a better team later in the season. Think I’ll get Fred too and save a trade.
