Rather than average, I tend to focus on top 8 (DEF & FWD) or top 10 (MID). You also have Keepers, like Viney or Docherty, that probably aren’t Top 8/10, but not worth a trade-out yet.
This is ultimately what turned me off Saad, as he is currently 10th of available (non-injured) Defenders. Due to injuries, he’s also infront of Williams and Stewart, so in my mind he’s about the 12th best available Defender.
Saad is currently 8th on averages, and 7th on total points. You nailed it re injuries….he never misses…can’t put a price on that. Apart from Lloyd, you could throw a blanket over the other top 8, But Saad is the cheapest by quite a bit.
Agree on every point Wighty. He’s been pretty consistent this year, has already had his pseudo bye and never misses.
Yes he’s ranked 12 for overall points, but importantly 6 of those above him have played an extra game. Throw another 99 (his avg) on top and he moves to 5th. So he’s in the mix.
I picked him up as a bit of a gamble at the start of the season and couldn’t be happier.
