I had the VC on Oliver and opponent put VC on Gawn. Tempted to put the C on Laird, cos the Crows are at home and coming up against a Pies team without Grundy. What to do:
T/up – Stick C on Laird
T/down – Put it on either Steele, Macrae, or Merrett
I have the top-5 scoring Demons, including the VC on the top scorer from the game. So I’m off to a ripping start, which will likely fall apart after the next game.
That is correct – I’ve also got Jordon but he’ll have moved on for his bye round. I’m sitting at 15 available players for round 14 at the moment but if you add in the 4-5 players I’m adding over the bye rounds, it should* be okay.
* Obviously I’ve just cursed myself and will get drowned by injuries and ‘double-byes’ / rested players for the next two rounds.
Ummed and arred about my Vc
Swapped it about a dozen times,
And yep I went Satan over Gawn,
I don’t think I’ve nailed my Vc once this year.
But a good start nontheless,
542/5
But who to put the C on ??
TU bont
TD Macrae
Justin Longmuir specifically stated that either Bont or Macrae are likely to get tagged. I’d be careful sticking the C on either of them because you just don’t know who is going to cop it.
I’d be tempted to put it on Macrae considering he hasn’t dropped below 100 but his average against Freo and at Optus is not that good. I feel like Bont would cop the tag considering how damaging he can be, and Macraes previous scores against Freo aren’t very appealing. In saying that, he is in great form right now so he could still score big.
Includes Highmore & RCD’s respective 19 & 27, which I hope will both drop out. Although Treacy is far from a certainty to eclipse those. Also took Zorko’s VC score as I’m not having a great run with captains recently, so I left Laird on the table.
Some putrid rookie scores holding me back this week. RCD, Warner and Murphy will probably all go next week. Still have Daniel, Macrae, Weightman, Docherty, Cripps and Treacy (whose score will hopefully count) to go today.
Already thinking about Round 14. With no Tigers and no Zorko, there’s some challenging trades to be made

Daniel wow!! Well done. Does that mean in R14 bye you are missing 5 Melbourne players?
I imagine they are..
Gawn (top score)
Oliver
Petracca
Mc Donald
May
Round 14 Bye looking tough.

398 / 2 / Gawn
Just Gawn x2 and Zorko so far.
I will have 19 play with a Premo Rookie split of 13-6.
Anything over 1900 would be awesome.
832 / 7-20 / Gawn.
This is with Warners 39 and Highmores 19. Surely I drop these two!
Steele 140
Crouch 137
Mills 99
A chance with a few more from scaling.
Laird
Rowe
..and Bianco in the next one.

I’d say just go with your gut.
Or Laird.
632/4/Gawn
The first time I nailed my VC all season.
Lyons Zorko and May other contributors
1728/19/Merrett
Happy with the C on Merrett after Oliver’s fail. McGrath’s injury really hurts though.
Have Bont and Daniel to come. 1900 would be nice.
Good luck tomorrow everyone!
1884 / 18 / Steele
Just got Macrae left to hopefully replace Highmore’s 17. Would be happy with 1980+
1560/15/Laird
Have subtracted RCD and Highmore’s “scores”.
Bont, Macrae and Weightman to go. Assuming Freo tag a Dogs MID, so will be happy with 1800 .

Good evening SCT’ers
Not a bad start for me – lowest score not including Rowe’s 32 is Bianco’s 75
Currently on 1316 with 7 left to play – thinking Rowe and Scott won’t count.
Left to play are –
Walsh – thinking he scores 120
Gaff – 110
ZWill – 90
Daniel – 100
Macca (cap) 280
Weightman – 60
Scott – 50
if they all hit their scores I’ve predicted I’m looking at around 2076
My question is I have the VC on Gawn and can double his 138(276), do I take that or take the punt on Macca even though he might get tagged.
TU – take Gawns VC
TD – Take the punt on macca going large
You reckon I might have a chance at top score?
I planned all year just for this round to win the grand
Be a stretch to win the grand. Got a couple in my leagues predicted to get 2100. Good luck hope you take home the chockies
Hehehe
